    Our home is one of the three “grand old ladies” that were built across from the beach facing directly west into the sunset. Built in 1927 for a wealthy Cape Charles merchant, we have made extensive renovations to restore its grand character and created one of the most comfortable and relaxing two-room bed & breakfasts on the Virginia eastern shore. Its large rooms, 10 foot ceilings, unique views of the Bay and the fabulous sunsets offer our guests an unsurpassed Cape Charles experience on the Chesapeake Bay.

    Beautiful!

    Our stay at the Bay View was a beautiful moment of peace in our crazy busy lives. The home is gracefully built in a time long past, and decorated for comfort and beauty. Our hosts were kind, not intrusive but present when needed. Breakfast hit the spot! We walked all over the town, visited/shopped, and played on the beach, all within an easy few steps. And out hearts/body came home rejuvenated. We plan to return. I strongly recommend this lovely home.
