This is a beautiful bed and breakfast and the owners make it so much better! The outside is so picturesque with an adorable swing you can sit on and enjoy your coffee in the morning or sit outside and chat with friends. The woodwork inside is amazing and the rooms are fun with their themes! The owners of this bed and breakfast are certainly some of the nicest people I have ever met, which makes the experience much better. I would definitely go back there to visit! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

The venue for our daughter's wedding mentioned Flo's Hideaway as being a possible place to stay while in town although being opened only during special event. We took a chance at stopping by the week before and were warmly greeted by Flo. She was so kind and actually agreed to host both the groom's parents and us. The fact that her daughter was also getting married in October may have had something to do with it. We call it a special bond. We had a wonderful couple of nights, awaken by the smell of her homemade baguettes baking. This was the added bonus to a very special weekend. Thank you Flo and Carl

Words do not describe the fun and hospitality at Flo's Hideaway. Beautiful house and unbelievable croissants, jams and crêpes. I wish it wasn't such a long drive for us, we would be there all the time.

Magnificent mansion in a quiet and safe neighborhood, great rooms, hearty owners and delicious french breakfasts. Always met with a warm welcome. What more to expect ?

We just returned from our second visit to Flo's Hideaway. To say we didn't want to leave is a vast understatement. From the moment we walked in, Flo and Carl made us feel like family. The decor is so beautiful, yet completely warm and welcoming- we truly felt at home. We stayed in Julia's Suite- a large room with the most comfortable four poster bed. As if that wasn't enough, Flo makes breakfast to rival any French bakery. Here's a hint: ask her about her crepes. Then prepare to swoon when you have one. We already have plans to return next year- but we are just not sure we can wait that long! Thank you so much, Flo and Carl, for making our vacation extra special..

Awesome welcome as usual, better than from some family members, lol..Crepes are as delicious as ever and the addition of homemade kumquat and blackcurrant jams for the croissants are to die for. We love "our" suite and the new plumbing is very quiet :) Now, the new porch is INCREDIBLE, Carl is so talented, I wish we could take him home with us

I never thought, but surely hoped, we would come back again and luckily we did. The new front porch is magnificent and we certainly enjoyed our welcome glass of wine on it. Flo and Carl have not changed, still working on never ending improvements. What a treat it is to spend a couple of days with them. Truly like family. Thank you so much

Une expérience extraordinaire que passer un moment à la frontière des cultures française et américaine. Vous trouverez ici le meilleur des deux mondes.

Every part of my stay at Flo's Hideaway exceeded my expectations. My hosts, Flo and Carl, could not have been more gracious. They immediately made me feel like a welcome guest. After my experience staying at their lovely home I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the area. For anyone attending a NASCAR race or the Rhythm and Roots Music Festival this makes for the ideal location. HIGHLY recommended.

If only Flo would agree to do baking classes.... she graciously gave me her baguette recipe but being her shadow for a day or two would be much more fun. Warm, wonderful, superior hospitality, are only a few adjectives to describe this home. Yes it is a home and a very welcoming one. I will be back

When not painting, fixing up or renovating, foreign travel and antiquing are Flo's favorite. Gardening has become one of Carl's stress reliever and getting out on the motorcycles whenever time and weather permit is one thing they both love doing together. We enjoy having guests during special events in our area.
