Wildflowers is an 1891 Victorian home surrounded by blue spruce and an abundance of wildflowers. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it sits amid homes of old Salt Lake. Guests will be warmly welcomed by Cill Sparks, a retired nurse administrator, and Jeri Parker, an artist and writer. In their careful restoration of Wildflowers, they have preserved the comforts of the past and added delights of the present.

Just like spending time at Mom's! A 10-star experience!

    March 11, 2012

We had driven to Salt Lake City from Colorado for some business and then to attend a concert in Provo before having to leave the next morning. We wanted an inexpensive place to spend the night. Just to try something different, we opted for a B&B instead of a hotel and found Wildflowers online. As soon as Cil greeted us at the door, it felt like we were at Mom's house. Her easy-going nature, wonderful hospitality, and enthusiasm toward all of her guests made the day's stresses just melt away. Knowing we were in a hurry to put our things away and get ready for the concert, Cil quickly showed us to our room, gave us the key, and wished us a nice evening. The next morning, we woke up to the wonderful aroma of a homemade breakfast in the air and when we went downstairs to the dining room we were once again greeted with Cil's wonderful smile and warmth. The building itself or the room may not exactly be a 5-star place, but the charm and warmth of Cil and her cottage makes this a 10-star experience. Thanks! We look forward to staying at the Wildflower again some day!

    Met our every need!

    January 30, 2011

Went to Wildflowers for our anniversary, but had to bring along a nursing infant. Halfway through the night, our 3 year old needed to be picked up and brought over as well. When our whole family came tromping down the stairs the next morning, they couldn't have been nicer about it. Their dog was great with our kids, the owners were great to our family. We loved our balcony, the clawfoot tub and they took extra special care to provide a gluten-free breakfast for me. That alone earns them my return business. A great, albeit unexpected, family vacation. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    Comfortable & welcoming B&B

    October 12, 2010

Wildflowers is on the historical register & the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious & often include freshly laid eggs from their hens. The very best thing is the hospitality. The owners are very friendly & welcoming.

    Loved our stay!

    August 25, 2010

We stayed on the top floor of the house, with a fully equipped kitchen (grocery store around the corner), comfortable bed and living room, and a terrace overlooking the mountains. Cill and Jeri were friendly and attentive hostesses, and the breakfast (their own eggs and tomatoes) was delicious. Walking distance to Liberty Park (aviary) and easy access to downtown by bus. We would recommend this B&B to anyone; just have to be able/willing to climb the outdoor stairs to the private entrance (but there are also rooms below)!!!

    Wonderful place to stay

    June 22, 2010

My husband and I stayed at the Wildflowers Inn on our wedding night because we wanted a place to be able to go back to for anniversaries. We arrived late in the evening and the owners were still very accommodating and understanding. Our room was simple yet absolutely perfect and very clean. Not a speck of dust to be seen. Our room was on the second floor which provided us a nice view of the garden and chickens which was a wonderful sight to wake up to. The room was very comfortable and though there were people stirring you would have never known it because it was still quiet and peaceful. We met Cill and Jeri for the first time at breakfast and they were both extremely friendly and were full of great stories! It was so comfortable there that we felt like we had known them for years. They have two small dogs that are very friendly but will leave you alone unless you call them over. The whole house was immaculate and decorated with artwork that was done by one of the owners. Overall Wildflowers Inn was very charming and provided a great ambiance. I look forward to returning and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

    A Beautiful Experience

    April 29, 2010

I travel to Salt Lake on a regular basis and have stayed at Wildflowers several times. The house is beautiful and conveniently located close to the downtown SLC area. It's reasonably priced and the rooms are comfortable and clean. But what sets Wildflowersr apart is the wonderful, friendly service of the owners. They are gracious hosts and cook a spectacular breakfast!

    Great Getaway

    February 28, 2010

This was a lovely house very close to downtown Sugarhouse. We were looking for a getaway for the night, and Cill gave us exactly what we needed. The room was really cute with a clawfoot tub (plenty of hot water). The breakfast was delicious. We will probably visit again in the Spring/ Summer so we can enjoy the patio/ wildflowers. Great place!
