Nothing but positive things to say about our stay at the Anniversary Inn on 5th South. Quick check-in, super friendly staff and fresh warm cookies greeted us as we arrived. We stayed in "The Jungle" room and in a word it was amazing! What has to be a full sized Asian elephant hovered above the wonderfully large, deep jetted tub. (We enjoyed the tub very much) An awesome full sized crocodile is sprawled on the rocks near the bed. The walls are adorned with rock cliffs and ledges and murals that include a leopard, monkeys, and all the fun things you would expect to find in the jungle. The vanity is nestled in the base of a giant tree that spans the room. The bed was located on a balcony at the top curved stairs that appeared to be carved into the rock. Any actual waterfall cascades down the rocks near the stairs. From the bed you looked out into the jungle trees and down on the elephant and the room below. The bed was comfortable, and had a nice flat screen TV with DVD player and DirecTV easily viewed from the bed. The room was very clean, and there where abundant fluffy towels, and nice (all be it small) robes available in the room. We enjoyed the chilled cider, and the complimentary cheesecake waiting for us when we arrived. Breakfast was delivered as ordered to the room and was hot fresh and tasty. We highly recommend a night in the Jungle at the wonderful Anniversary Inn for a quick getaway or to commemorate that special day. We are already planning our next escape at the wonderful Anniversary Inn.

We booked this hotel for our parents 67th wedding anniversary. They were put on the third floor with no elevator and my parent (my father is 91) had to carry their own luggage up three flights of stairs. The room was just a little bit bigger than the walk-in closet in their home and had no shower. The breakfast they were offered (no hot food) was a joke and the cost for one night was $234.00!!! This is a rip-off big time.......

I recently stayed here on a road trip. The room was amazing, the tub was amazing, there was even cheesecake and sparkling cider in the room when we got there! I cannot say enough good things about the surroundings (even if the outside of the building isn't much to look at). However, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast. One of the reasons we love B&B's is the conjugal morning breakfast. At The Anniversary Inn, breakfast is served to your room and includes carbs, carbs and more carbs. Not a good breakfast to start a day of hiking with, though it was tasty.

We loved everything about our stay. We had planned to check in then go out on the town but when we arrived we were too excited and decided to stay in our room instead. We enjoyed the large jetted tub with complimentary sparkling cider and cheesecake. We watched a free movie and loved our elevated bed up in the tree house. It was unique, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and we loved how they brought it to our room. Such a great getaway!

This was my husband and my second time staying at the Anniversary Inn, and we absolutely LOVED it! The rooms are just so charming and fun, it feels like a romantic getaway, even if we're only an hour from home. We stayed in the Rio Grande suite, and the jetted tub was our favorite part--it was huge and fantastic! Breakfast was lovely, and they brought it to us right at the time we requested. The front desk was so helpful and friendly, and they met all of our requests within minutes! We'll definitely be back!

We stayed in the Venetian room and had a memorable stay. The bed/ couch is a gondola! The large - I mean huge - jetted tub is in its own little alcove with a flower atrium above and waterfall shower heads. The breakfast delivered to our door in the morning was nice including sweet roll, ham & cheese croissant, juices and granola/fruit parfaits. The hotel itself is secluded and in a quiet corner of downtown SLC.

The rooms were very clean, my wife is very particular and because it was so clean we are planning on a return visit in the future. The theme rooms were exciting done with a romantic flare. I highly recommend a stay at the Anniversary Inn

We had heard great things about Anniversary Inn, but were skeptical of the theme rooms. However, when we received a Bedandbreakfast.com gift card, we decided to throw caution to the wind. After debating over which room to stay in, we finally settled on the 5th South location (as it was close to so many great restaurants Downtown), and Romeo's Retreat. Wow, were we impressed! From the moment we checked in, we were completely spoiled by the staff and facilities. We were allowed to check in an hour early at no charge, due to an impending blizzard, and were met in our room with romantic music, a bottle of sparkling cider, and cheesecake. The room was immaculate, breakfast was delicious, and the entire experience was magical. We truly could have stayed forever!

We stayed in the Lighthouse room that was lovely. Jetted tub was great!!! The room was great. Service was great. Breakfast was not worth the price of the experience. No options offered and by no means was this breakfast appropriate for diabetic/vegetarian or healthy diet.

My husband and I have stayed at the Anniversary inn 4 times now, and it is always amazing! they are always fun! It really helps that they offer a very very good Military Discount! So far we love swiss family robinson and treasure island the best! All the rooms we stayed in were clean and had jaccuzzis in the middle of the room! the breakfast is always good! although they don't ask for food allergies or diet restrictions, since I don't eat red meat I had to give my husband a lot of the breakfast.
