The Anniversary Inn -- 5th South

I recently stayed here on a road trip. The room was amazing, the tub was amazing, there was even cheesecake and sparkling cider in the room when we got there! I cannot say enough good things about the surroundings (even if the outside of the building isn't much to look at). However, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast. One of the reasons we love B&B's is the conjugal morning breakfast. At The Anniversary Inn, breakfast is served to your room and includes carbs, carbs and more carbs. Not a good breakfast to start a day of hiking with, though it was tasty.

We loved everything about our stay. We had planned to check in then go out on the town but when we arrived we were too excited and decided to stay in our room instead. We enjoyed the large jetted tub with complimentary sparkling cider and cheesecake. We watched a free movie and loved our elevated bed up in the tree house. It was unique, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and we loved how they brought it to our room. Such a great getaway!

This was my husband and my second time staying at the Anniversary Inn, and we absolutely LOVED it! The rooms are just so charming and fun, it feels like a romantic getaway, even if we're only an hour from home. We stayed in the Rio Grande suite, and the jetted tub was our favorite part--it was huge and fantastic! Breakfast was lovely, and they brought it to us right at the time we requested. The front desk was so helpful and friendly, and they met all of our requests within minutes! We'll definitely be back!

We stayed in the Venetian room and had a memorable stay. The bed/ couch is a gondola! The large - I mean huge - jetted tub is in its own little alcove with a flower atrium above and waterfall shower heads. The breakfast delivered to our door in the morning was nice including sweet roll, ham & cheese croissant, juices and granola/fruit parfaits. The hotel itself is secluded and in a quiet corner of downtown SLC.

The rooms were very clean, my wife is very particular and because it was so clean we are planning on a return visit in the future. The theme rooms were exciting done with a romantic flare. I highly recommend a stay at the Anniversary Inn

We had heard great things about Anniversary Inn, but were skeptical of the theme rooms. However, when we received a Bedandbreakfast.com gift card, we decided to throw caution to the wind. After debating over which room to stay in, we finally settled on the 5th South location (as it was close to so many great restaurants Downtown), and Romeo's Retreat. Wow, were we impressed! From the moment we checked in, we were completely spoiled by the staff and facilities. We were allowed to check in an hour early at no charge, due to an impending blizzard, and were met in our room with romantic music, a bottle of sparkling cider, and cheesecake. The room was immaculate, breakfast was delicious, and the entire experience was magical. We truly could have stayed forever!

We stayed in the Lighthouse room that was lovely. Jetted tub was great!!! The room was great. Service was great. Breakfast was not worth the price of the experience. No options offered and by no means was this breakfast appropriate for diabetic/vegetarian or healthy diet.

My husband and I have stayed at the Anniversary inn 4 times now, and it is always amazing! they are always fun! It really helps that they offer a very very good Military Discount! So far we love swiss family robinson and treasure island the best! All the rooms we stayed in were clean and had jaccuzzis in the middle of the room! the breakfast is always good! although they don't ask for food allergies or diet restrictions, since I don't eat red meat I had to give my husband a lot of the breakfast.

Aniversary Inn offers amazing value for a couple that just wants to hide out away from the kids for a night. We ate dinner elsewhere and then arrived at the hotel. Free fresh cookies were at the check in, and in our room we enjoyed the free quality cheese cake and drinks. Watched the free DVDs on the in room home theater set up (yes, full surround sound setup), and enjoyed the jetted tub with double waterfall shower. In the morning the in room breakfast was small but high quality (included with the room). Can't believe all that was $129. It must be said that we had the same room as the other reviewer which had cracked vinyl (#30). We knew that was why it was not $249 like the other rooms, so we didn't mind. Can't get a jetted tub in your room for less then $300 let alone the other niceties. Remodel the room and I'd give Outstandings for Rooms and Cleanliness (but value would be exceeded)

upholstery on the bed and couch was breaking apart. couldn't evern sit on it. Bathroom floor was crack badly..

We loved the crazy themed rooms! It was really like we were sleeping in a log cabin! And the jetted bathtub was amazing! With the waterfall shower! The service was amazing, everything was amazing!

Stayed here day I got married. Rooms are very nice with fun themes. Mood of the place is great.
