Thank you for the wonderful stay

Daniel: Thank you for such a great stay at your beautiful bed & breakfast. We had an absolutely wonderful time and we left completely relaxed. It was hard to go back to reality after that! Breakfast was perfect and we'll be sure to tell all of our friends about your place. Cheers!

Exactly how a B&B should be

5 on February 24, 2016

This is what every bed & breakfast should be like. An old mansion from the 1800s that's in perfect shape and upkept very well. Antiques everywhere. The innkeeper was very personal and professional. Lots of privacy. Great breakfast. Excellent price.

really nice place with great service

Clean. Very quiet. Filled with lots of great antiques and artwork. Great breakfast. Super-nice staff that will do anything for the guests. Perfect location. Five stars!

Excellent Breakfast

5 on February 09, 2016

We loved everything about this beautiful B&B. Great Innkeeper, quiet setting, private bathrooms, and location. But the best part was the breakfast. They charge less per room and give the option of the free continental breakfast (although it had eggs, so it was better than any continental we'd ever seen) or an upgraded breakfast for a few bucks more. We had frittatas one morning and stuffed French toast the next. We wanted to stay another night, just for the breakfast!

Very private and romantic

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary and we loved it. Everything about the place was wonderful, especially the cozy setting. There were lots of original fireplaces throughout the house and it's very quiet and relaxing. Definitely the nicest bed & breakfast we've ever stayed in!

Beautiful Piece of History!

This mansion was clean and impeccable. It felt like we were transported back into the 1800s with the Victorian-era antiques and the rare paintings. Very well taken care of building. I can see why it's a national historic landmark!

Carriage House Events Center

This is an events center and reception hall attached to the Ellerbeck Mansion B&B, and is available for our guests to rent. It's an old carriage house and stable from the late 1800s that has been converted into an events center. It has the facilities and technology to host any type of event, from weddings to corporate retreats. There is a large HD projector and screen that can be hooked up to a television or laptop for presentations and movies, and there's enough seating for 40+ people to watch the 120" screen. There is a full bar with optional bartenders on site. If you're holding an event, why not have it at a venue that allows your guests to stay right at the location instead of driving afterwards? Our bed & breakfast can sleep 16 guests comfortably, and we have several vacation homes within a few blocks that will accommodate another 75-100 guests.

Manhattan Room

The Manhattan Room is one of our newest rooms in the house and is lightly themed and decorated with authentic furniture and artwork from 19th & 20th century New York. It has it's own entrance to the outside, a high-definition TV (with cable channels), a private full bathroom located right outside of the room, and is located right off of a large living room area on the bottom floor of the mansion. It's located in one of the more private, quiet areas of the home. See the picture of the floor plan in the photos section. This room is in a very private and secluded area compared to most of the other rooms in the house. You'll have access to both the main kitchen and the rarely used second kitchen. This room has its own private bathroom with the entrance located just outside of the entrance to your room.

  • Bathroom Private Bath
  • Beds 1 Queen

Paris Room

The Paris Room is under construction and will be our newest room in the house starting in the Summer of 2017. It is lightly themed and decorated with authentic antiques and artwork from Paris, France. This room is our smallest room in the mansion, and is used only as overflow. Although it is a beautiful quiet room, we needed something for those times when mistakes are made and we double-book someone, so we normally leave this room off of the schedule.

  • Maximum Capacity: 2
  • Beds 1 Double

Nightly Rate: $97 - $97
