The Main house was built in 1873 by Edwin G. Woolley who was said to have hid polygamists in the attic via a secret door, after polygamy was outlawed, by the U.S. government in 1882. The main house offers seven uniquely decorated guest rooms each being named after the seven wives of one of the polygamist who was said to have hid here.The Main house also has a parlor perfect for spending some time with loved ones.

Seven Wives Inn consists of two adjacent pioneer homes and separate cottage in the historic district of St. George. The property has 13 unique rooms that each have their own private bathrooms. The rooms each have an abundance of cable TV channels. A full-gourmet breakfast is offered each morning with 3 different entrees to choose from. Great location within walking distance of many nice shops and restaurants.

Very good experience. Other guests are always pleasant. The breakfast is wonderful! Fresh eggs from their chickens! Clean and quiet. I feel safe. Good parking, great location. Very helpful innkeepers. We feel special.

We loved the quiet, security, high ceilings, cleanliness, and location. Antique furnishings were beautiful. Interesting history of the inn. We took an 8-mile hike on the Owen's Loop trail just North of the inn. What a beautiful view high above the city.
