The Main house was built in 1873 by Edwin G. Woolley who was said to have hid polygamists in the attic via a secret door, after polygamy was outlawed, by the U.S. government in 1882. The main house offers seven uniquely decorated guest rooms each being named after the seven wives of one of the polygamist who was said to have hid here.The Main house also has a parlor perfect for spending some time with loved ones.
The Presidents house was built by George Whitehead in 1883. The home received its name due to hosting some of the early presidents of the LDS (Mormon) Church. The two story home contains contains five unique guest rooms and a private parlor.

Seven Wives Inn consists of two adjacent pioneer homes and separate cottage in the historic district of St. George. The property has 13 unique rooms that each have their own private bathrooms. The rooms each have an abundance of cable TV channels. A full-gourmet breakfast is offered each morning with 3 different entrees to choose from. Great location within walking distance of many nice shops and restaurants.

Stayed 4 nights while visiting Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. The Inn is a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. It is within walking distance of fantastic restaurants of The Painted Pony, George's Corner, Benja Thai & Sushi, and the Pasta Factory, so there is no need to drive. Vanessa, the Innkeeper goes out of her way to make sure the guests are taken care of.

We loved our stay at the Seven Wives Inn. A great location, beautiful property, delicious food (I'm still dreaming about the crepes), and great innkeepers. We will definitely be coming back!

I have to travel for my work, but I look forward to relaxing and unwinding at this quiet, quaint B&B. It turns an ordinary trip into a "vacation". Why stay in a cardboard box of a room when you can experience the old elegance of the early families that settled this area of Utah. I look forward to my next visit.

The Melissa Suite
The Melissa Suite is a 3-room Honeymoon suite with over 700 square feet of elegance. The main room features a four poster canopy bed (displayed in picture), a large balcony, and wood-burning fireplace. The second room is a romantic TV lounge which features a large loveseat, mini-fridge, and a 27" flatscreen Samsung TV with Cable, DVD, and VCR (movies included). Its 3rd room includes a romantic 2-person jetted whirlpool tub.

Ada is a quaint private cottage with reproduction pioneer furniture. Inside the bathroom there is a very large walk-in shower and separate jetted whirlpool tub. The Sarah 1920's Suite is set on the first floor of our main house, and contains a California King Size bed, it's own front porch and back entrance, 2 fireplaces, an additional room with a twin bed and walk in closet, private bathroom with a claw foot bathtub and a shower overhead. It also contains a unique Jacuzzi tub built inside of a 1927 Model T. Ford! Room includes a flat screen TV and DVD player complete with DVD library. This room also has central air & heat. Rates are based on double occupancy. $20.00 will be added for the additional guest.

The Inn was charming and provided us the privacy and comfort we needed. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful. The pictures on the website didn't do the Ada cottage justice it wea much cozier and charming than the pictures showed.

The stay at Seven Wives Inn was very memorable. The room was beautiful and had just the right quaint touch for the occasion. We were so impressed with the Hostess. She was so caring, genuine, and anxious to make our stay pleasant. The food was better than the usual bed and breakfast fare. We plan on going back whenever occasion permits.

This was a really fun place to stay when my husband and I were passing through on our way to Salt Lake City. We stayed in Sarah's room where they had a hot tub in a beautiful old blue convertible car! The room was clean and a nice warm temperature even though it was February. There were no logs in the fireplace, so when we mentioned it they immediately brought one in for us to light at our leisure. My only disappointment was the breakfast. It was good, but I was expecting a little bit more to it. I got the granola with yogurt (delicious). At another B&B that would have been the first course. Then we would have had eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. They brought out only a little bacon and a piece of toast. That was it. Not a big deal but a little more bacon would've been nice. Usually I'm very full after a B&B breakfast, but not here. Overall, it was a very nice experience though.
