Nice place to stay with one exception: The bed was very uncomfortable. The middle of it sagged way in so that with two people on the bed we both rolled into the middle. I guess that's romantic for a while but after a few hours of fighting gravity... read more

We pride ourselves in offering great beds with our 600+ thread count Italian sheeting, feather duvets, feather pillows and replacing our mattresses frequently. Featuring a queen leather sleigh bed, golden luxurious bedding, and blue velvet window treatments, this quiet corner room envelopes guests in traditional comfort. The private bathroom, walk-in closet, and reading corne provide privacy and comfort. Amenities include 26-inch LCD TV, hairdryer, in-room temp control, phone and terrycloth robes (window unit AC in summer months). 

The Sferra 1,020 thread count opulent sateen sheets are made of 100% Egyptian cotton. The intricate jacquard inset border design exhibits the expert handwork of Italian masters. The 590 thread count jacquard-woven Italian sateen duvet feels as though it is woven from silk with intricately loomed patterns.The Living Room of the Washington School Inn is the heart of your vacation spot.  Here you will meet the staff and hopefully get to meet some of our other guests.  The mezzanine is also visible in the upper right of this photo.  Groups of 20 people or less use this area for meetings and small gatherings.
The hot tub area once one used as coal storage when this building functioned as the school.  Beautifully built with local sandstone this area invites you to relax and enjoy.  The sauna is right around the corner.The romantic charm and European décor of this spectacular suite includes a charming 4 poster king bed with lovely appointments. A wood burning fireplace area with loveseat and two plush armchairs adds to the rich ambience of this suite. Perfect for a romantic getaway! 

The Sferra 590 thread count classic sateen Italian sheets have a luminous sheen and hand-drawn hemstitching. You will enjoy the warmth and invitingly luxurious cashmere blanket. The bed is finished with a feather comforter covered in a 630 thread count sateen jacquard made of the finest Egyptian cotton.
This deluxe suite has a beautiful 4 poster king bed with luxurious bedding and draperies. A welcoming seating area with sofa and 2 chairs surround the wood burning fireplace. This suite has two beautiful leaded glass windows and a cozy alcove with chaise lounge. Very inviting!

The Sferra 406 thread count sheeting has a refined stripe against a subtle herringbone weave. They are impeccably tailored having a fine hand and timeless grace of Italian menswear. The plush, velvety blanket is woven from long-staple combed cotton that has been brushed for softness and warmth. Snuggle up beneath its downy nap, and feel the cares of the day dissolve.
