Jackson Fork Inn
A long time ago, Jackson Fork Inn was a modern dairy barn. At the time it was built, it was considered the most up to date barn in the area; complete with indoor plumbing. At full occupancy the barn could house one hundred dairy cows. The name "Jackson Fork" comes from a large hay fork that was used to load hay into the loft area of the barn, which is where the rooms are located today. An original fork is on display hanging outside of the barn, as it would have many years ago. Today the Inn is more accommodating to people than to cows. The Inn is located within the scenic Ogden Valley Recreation area, northeast of Ogden on highway 39. The Inn consists of seven comfortable rooms. Three have Whirlpool tubs that can accommodate two adults. The rooms are two story with queen size beds located in a loft, assessable from a spiral staircase. All rooms are airconditioned and have a private bath. In the morning a complimentary self-serve continental breakfast is provided. The Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the barn and serves delicious items such as steaks, fish, chicken, vegetarian, and pasta dishes. All Items are cooked to order. The Restaurant is open for dinner Monday through Saturday 5:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and Sunday brunch from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Sunday Dinner 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Reservations are gladly accepted. The Jackson Fork Inn is a nonsmoking Inn.
