April 11, 2010
We spent six nights at the delightful Snowberry Inn during the first week of April 2010. The inn is built in the log cabin style and very tastfully decorated with vintage ski gear and the like. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us; fiancee is a veggie and was able to find a veggie treat for breakfast and before dinner snack. Wifi is provided but we didn't bring a laptop so Pat installed a computed in the common room for us to use! Location is perfect for skiing Powder Mountain and Snowbasin, the latter being, by far, the best option. We would unreservedly recommend staying here and, while were at it, also put in a plug from Carlos and Harleys Tex-Mex restaurant. The quality of food at this place is astounding, considering it's located in a tiny town in rural Utah.

December 17, 2009
We booked it for our oldest son's honeymoon. Our son and his bride said they enjoyed it very much! We booked online and didn't know about the military discount. We e-mailed a request to receive the military discount and have never received a reply. The reservation was easy to do online, and it worked perfectly for them to go to Wolf Creek to ski. we wish we would have known about the military discount when we booked. Penni Eads
Innkeeper Response
We strive to answer all emails however they can be missed because I receive so many daily. My apologies. Unfortunately all discounts have to come from me personally & cannot be done online. When in doubt always call we will be glad to assist. Thanks so much!4.4 out of 5Beautiful B&B in a great location!

I really liked the Snowberry and will definitely stay there again. I’ve only stayed at a few B&Bs, but the Snowberry seemed to have everything a B&B should – character, comfortable rooms, and very friendly hosts. The log cabin setting is perfect, and Pat and Sherrie were very helpful with local suggestions and directions. The price was very reasonable too – especially considering the gourmet breakfast!

We stayed for two nights! It was enjoyable and quaint. We however, were dissappointed that there was not a TV in our room. They had a community TV which is nice, but not everybody likes to watch the same thing. The breakfast was delicious!

Although early pioneers in Utah did not get too experience many luxuries, this room combines comfort with their history. The Pioneer is filled with antiques that reflect the past of these brave settlers an 1895 Bible, Singer Sewing Machine and photos of early mining days in Utah convey reminders of how life was in those days.

The Utah Indians took refuge in the canyons throughout Utah. The terrain in the area was a challenge for all who explored or inhabited it. The canyons provided shelter from the elements as well as majestic beauty. The room conveys a feeling of the earlier time. The cowhide valances, Native American artwork, dream catcher & drum give you a sense of the tribes of Utah Indians.

The beauty of the area of Monte Cristo cannot be denied. The early settlers to Utah saw the beauty of the natural forest, the agile elk, the never-ending mountains and the blue skies. The full circle of the seasons is encompassed here…The spring trees in bloom, in summer the green foliage flows, fall colors deep and vibrant and the winter snow covered and peaceful. No matter what the season comfort surrounds you!

Go back in time to the early trappers, traders and explorers. Finding food from the resources that surround you, keeping warm with the skins of animals and becoming familiar with the land was a daily regimen for the early settlers. The Mountain Men that preceded the settlers have commonly been referred to as authentic American heroes. This room depicts the many aspects of these men.

High and cascading, the Wasatch Mountains are on the western range of the Rocky Mountains. The elevation ranges from 9000-10000 feet. The early settlers used the mountains for sources of timber, water and granite. Trappers, traders, explorers and prospectors combed the terrain valiantly. In present day, the Wasatch Front is a Mecca of year around recreation. The state has coined the phrase “the greatest snow on earth” for winter sports enthusiasts. Throughout the room the décor reminds you of that famous phrase.

Inviting and nestled in the mountain, Pineview reservoir is there. In Utah it has been said of the water issue it is one extreme or the other. A man made reservoir & dam was one alternative to settle the conflict of water for people along the Wasatch Front. What most people see as just a place for recreation, the Ogden River Project took several years to complete. Fishing, boating, sailing and swimming are constant during the summers at Pineview. This room depicts just that!

The aroma of salt is not what one expects away from a coast but in Utah it is here! The Great Salt Lake is a small remnant of Lake Bonneville. Lake Bonneville encompassed 1/3 of the state of Utah and parts of neighboring states. The Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the western hemisphere. Lake Bonneville was home to different types of water life and it is thought that Bear Lake that borders Utah and Idaho is home to the different species of fish descended from the earlier species of the lake. The décor in the room welcomes you to the past and present.

The Sundance Film Festival has been around longer than most people think but it was Robert Redford who wanted to create arts and recreation for people who appreciate it. He saw this in Park City and the festival continued to grow. He said, “To us Sundance will always be a dream. What you see, smell, taste and feel here is a dream being carefully nurtured. It is an area whose pledge is to people. What we offer in the form of art and culture, spirit and service, is homegrown and available to all.” This quote is also our sentiment about the Snowberry Inn.

Sherrie & Pat kindly accomodated my late arrival. The room was "deluxe log cabin" and very quiet due to the B&B location outside of town. Pleasant fellow guests' conversation enhanced a generous buffet style breakfast. This seems a very convenient, cozy place to stay for local ski outings.
