Outstanding B&B in Kanab, UT! We have stayed at many B&Bs across the country, but very few as enjoyable as The Purple Sage Inn. Tory and Kathy Brock are exceptional hosts, the facility outstanding, the food incredible, and the inn centrally located for visits to the Grand Canyon North Rim. Brice and Zion National Parks, and Page, AZ for a float down the Colorado River. When we return to the area there is no question where we'll spend our nights and early morning breakfasts. Thanks, Tory & Kathy Hugh Thompson

We had the master bedroom on the first floor and it had a king sized bed with a private bathroom. The bath had a shower and a over-sized bathtub which being 6'2" I appreciated very much. The B&B had a friendly resident Siamese cat (outside, not inside) who was amenable to being petted and brushed so it was just like home. The breakfast we shared with another couple outside in the yard which was also very nice. I was quite satisfied with everything and it was so nice I wish we had planned to stay longer.

Nice B&b in a great location between Bryce, Zion, North Rim, and Page, AZ. Tory and Kathy are great hosts and make you feel at home immediately! Breakfast eat day was special and family style, so everyone shared details of their respective adventures. Kathy listens carefully and always suggests side trips, restaurants, and anything that can make the stay more special!

We picked the Purple Sage Inn as a midpoint to access several areas in southern Utah and northern Arizona. The location worked well for us and we were very happy with everything about the inn and the service we received there. The innkeepers were the epitome of hospitality and kindness.

The purple Sage is what a bed and breakfast should be! Beautiful rooms, all the charm of an old house with all the conveniences of a new one (double pedestal sinks in our wonderful bathroom that was as big as a small bedroom and had not only a large tub but a separate large shower with perfect water pressure), fantastic breakfasts, best I've ever had, and, of course, what is the heart of any great bed and breakfast, wonderful, warm, friendly innkeepers! Kathy and Tory were absolutely delightful! Not only were they both great cooks, they were so very friendly, incredibly helpful in terms of any information we needed ( in our case, good hikes in the area), the kind of innkeepers you exchange hugs with when you leave. Everywhere we looked, there were touches that suggested their attention to detail and their care for the guests. From a wonderful supply of towels, kept clean every day, to a huge, superbly comfortable bed to a bath pillow for comfortably lounging in the tub, they thought of things we never would have but were delighted to find. Oh, and a side porch off our bedroom with two comfortable rockers, gorgeous hanging plants, and a beautiful view of the wonderful yard, beautifully landscaped, and the mountains behind, the perfect spot to unwind after a days hiking. My husband and I have been staying at B&Bs for decades, and this B&B is now in our top two. A must stay!

We had for a long time wanted to visit the national parks near Las Vegas. Based on reviews in Tripadvisor we selected the Purple Sage Inn as our base for visits to the Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce, and Zion. The Inn is situated in Kanab and the parks can be easily accessed as day trips. What we did not expect was to meet such friendly and gracious hosts as Kathy and Tory Brock. They treated you as visiting friends, not just customers. Each evening they sat with us to discuss our day and to offer suggestions for our next day's plans. The breakfasts were wonderful, just what you would expect at a first-rate B&B. They always included fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, and bacon or sausage. Our favorites included the picante omelet pie and crème brulee French toast. The 1884 house has been beautifully restored and is overflowing with interesting antiques. You must look very closely in every room (and outside) to see and enjoy all of the items in Kathy and Tory's collection. The house and yard are maintained to perfection. We enjoy staying at B&B's and only select the best of the best for return visits. The Purple Sage Inn would definitely be at the top of our list. The only problem for us is that it is 2000 miles away.

Why would anyone stay at any other place but at Purple Sage Inn in Kanab, UT. I would give this place a 10 rating if the scale went that high. The stay at Purple Sage Inn is worth the trip by itself. Thank you so much for an outstanding stay!. My wife and I rate your place as the best bed & breakfast we have stayed at!

After a cold, windy journey to Kanab Utah, we found this beautiful gem a stopping place. The hospitality was warm (hot tea, warm fireplace, delightful hosts). This formerly run down 'haunted house' is now a gorgeous house is well worth the trip. We hope to return.
