Historic registered (National Register of Historic Places) 1792 Colonial Stone house founded by Swiss Mennonites as a hotel and tavern. Conveniently located in Northern Lancaster County nearby Middlecreek Wildlife Management area in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country's plush farmland. Ideal for the active traveler, we are surrounded by many local attractions from shopping and antique shops, to fine restaurants, to exciting adventures for the outdoor enthusiast. The house features original deep window sills and doors, original oak planks in sitting room, 2 working fire places, lead crystal chandeliers, original artwork and oriental rugs.

Innkeepers Description:
The hotel's proprietor is a dedicated hunter and has a profound knowledge about hunting. Hunting land (moose, bear, timber wolf & arctic water fowl) also available in Northern Ontario, Canada. Both owners enjoy foreign people and their customs and habits, history, traveling and sightseeing around the globe, good cuisine and wine and the fine arts.

Keep going straight ahead until you hit 272 North. Keep driving for approx. 1/2 mile. Then you'll see a "Shell Gas station" on your right. Take a left there onto Schoeneck Road. then follow "directions to property".
