A jewel in Seattle

5 on August 31, 2015

We were wonderfully impressed during our recent stay at the Inn. In addition to being very conveniently located near one of the major routes to downtown and to the Ballard neighbourhood, and on a hill with good views of Puget Sound and Ballard, the Inn is in a beautiful craftsman house maintained in excellent condition. The decoration of the house is exquisite and the facilities very clean and comfortable. Moreover, Katie Frame is a wonderful host, delighting in the preparation of unique, delicious breakfasts every morning and in engaging her guests in great conversations. A high standard for a B&B experience!

Outstanding B&B!

My mother and I recently stayed at this B&B and had a wonderful time! Katie, our host, was very personable and friendly and she cooked us up the BEST breakfast I have ever had at a B&B. The room was clean and comfortable and the surrounding area was very quiet at night. If I am in the area again I would love to go back and would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful place, most interesting house and proprietor

Sleeping in a beautiful house

4.8 on July 02, 2014

We got a warm welcome from the owner of the Inn of Twin Gables, and were shown to our room. Our private bathroom was about 5 steps from our door and quite lovely! Every amenity one could want was right there. Our room was at the front of house, up one floor, with an enormous 100+ year old black walnut tree right outside the windows. It made us feel as though we were in a treehouse! The excellent breakfasts in the mornings were different each day, with plenty of coffee and tea that led many of us to linger and visit with the other guests. There's also a sun porch well stocked with books, magazines and comfy chairs to relax in. All in all, we had a wonderful, restful mini vacation and would happily return again! Robbin & Mary

Wonderful start to our vacation!

What a relaxing way to start a vacation. Very receptive to our early arrival, quaint rooms in a beautiful area of town. Superb breakfast with our fellow travelers. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast, a slice of civilization in our frantic world.

Seattle Visit

Our stay at the Inn was delightful. The location was central to our visit to UW, Ballard, and downtown Seattle. The home was furnished with beautiful wood furniture and classic antiques which gave it a warm, inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and the conversation pleasant. A great place to stay.

Wonderful B&B experience

4.2 on September 07, 2013

This was our first B&B stay, but all of my expectations were either met or exceptional. The location is the beautiful Queen Anne district of Seattle, so the Inn of Twin Gables in Victorian style was a total treat. The house and grounds are beautiful, and owner Katie has an amazing collection of fine old furnishings and artwork and the house is in great shape. Our cozy west room was perfect for my young son and myself with 2 perfect day beds and beautiful view. Katie's breakfasts were wonderful treats in dining everyday. I loved the ambience, comfort and quiet, security for the same price as a noisy, crowded city hotel, yet this inn is not far from downtown Seattle. Highly recommend this Inn!

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. The best advertising is word of mouth. I am please that you enjoyed your stay at Inn of Twin Gables and happy that we were party to introducing you to staying in a Bed and Breakfast. My goal is to provide each of my guests a "home away from home" where they are comfortable, safe and well fed. I look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to Seattle.

Autumn stay on Queen Anne

Enjoyed the proprietor, Katie, and her cute dogs. Her breakfasts are delicious and very filling. The Queen Anne neighborhood is quaint and even in the Seattle rain, our walks were pleasant!

A lovely stay at Inn of Twin Gables

4.4 on September 15, 2012

We spent 3 lovely days at this turn of the century bed & breakfast. We were impressed with the home and the surrounding gardens. The owner, Katie, was warm and outgoing. She welcomed us into her home and introduced us to the other guests. She is an amazing chef and each day we were presented with a delicious breakfast. We spent our days exploring the treasures of Seattle and were delighted to return to Inn of Twin Gables in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Katie”-))
