A feast for the eyes, this log lodge is nestled beside a beautiful little lake. The rich deep fall colors invite quests to the warmth of this home. Guests are encouraged to wander the 20 forested acres, relax on the deck, soak in the hot tub with a lake view, gather around the hillside fire pit for cool mountain evenings, shoot pool, or sit and read or enjoy a video by the fireplace.

Your own cabin by the lake features a private bedroom with queen bed and a sleeping loft with two single beds. The cabin is furnished with linens and towels. Just a note: the log cabin is a self catering facility - full kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, silverware, etc. for cooking your own meals. Breakfast in the lodge is not included. Cabin guests wishing breakfast in the lodge may arrange for $10/person/day.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lost Canyon Lake Lodge. The inn is situated besides a lake and is very quiet at night. The hosts, Tom and Sally are very nice people and the breakfast was just great. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Lost Canyon Lake Lodge is located approximately 40 minutes west of Durango. Drive west out of Durango on Highway 160 to the town of Mancos. Turn right (North) at the junction of Highway 160 and Highway 184 (only stop light intersection in town). Travel North on 184 for 10 miles. Turn right onto good gravel road (County Road 35.3). Follow gravel road (C.R. 35.3) until you see sign(s) for Lost Canyon Lake Lodge. The lodge is approximately 1/2 mile in on C.R. 35.3.
