Wow! What an experience! Took a little finding..... When I say off the beaten path I mean it. No paved street so be prepared to put on your 4 wheel drive or you gonna be in for a little bit of a bumpy ride. Once there the rooms are clean, inviting and feels like a home away from home. The views are spectacular no matter if you sit during the day and observe the sunrise or watch the view of the lights of Downtown El Paso at night. The dinning is like going to a family dinning room with all the comforts of home with out all the clean up. The manger Marlene and the dog Peanut makes you feel like family. Wonderful place nestled right behind El Paso. If you look hard enough from look-out point on Transmountain you might see Peanut resting on the patio.

Casa de Suenos was magical. We went away for a special weekend, and after taking the suggestion of a fine dining restaurant from the owner, sat on the back patio looking at the mountains lit up by the city lights. The view was spectacular.

George and Marlene were excellent hosts and our room more than met our expectations. Our train was late arriving in El Paso, but we kept Marlene up to date from the train on our progress and they were waiting to welcome us when we finally arrived well after dark. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.

I'm not sure what I expected before arriving at Casa de Suenos. Once there, however, I felt like staying a month rather than the three days I had booked my room for. Away from the hustle and bustle and in the midst of whispering desert breezes, the B&B is definitely the place to relax. The room was clean, comfortable, with its own private patio and having breakfast with Marlene and George felt like visiting family. Look forward to staying there again.

Great place, great views, great innkeepers. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

On business in El Paso, Texas, I researched places to stay on the internet and determined from pictures online that the most relaxing place to stay would be Casa de Suenos, in another state. Indeed, this was true. The drive from El Paso was not long, and, turning up the dirt road to the Country Inn, I found myself excited at the prospect of a silent desert night. My room was comfortable, with a wine key and glasses, plus a coffee maker, and I enjoyed both coffee and wine on my adorable patio overlooking three mountain ranges (two in two different states and one in Mexico.) Breakfast was wholesome and interesting and the proprietors are lovely, as are their dogs. Should business take me again to El Paso (or that part of New Mexico), I will surely stay at Casa de Suenos again.

without inconveniencing them. The B&B owners are fantastic! The surroundings are serene. The stay from service to companionship to friendship is phenomenal! Such a great place to stay out of the city & receive great hospitality.

We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years and there is nothing that compares to Casa de Suenos. George and Marlene are excellent hosts and more than accomodating to everything and anything you would want. It has been 9 years straight that we have gone and love the place and them dearly. If you are looking to relax or to see some sights this is the perfect place. Never have we seen a place as wonderful as this. One last thing, Abi and Peanut are a delight to be with and are wonderful hosts as well.

Everything I read online turned out to be true. There were five of us (ages 13 - 75) and we had the Kokopeli and Tortuga rooms with the sitting room in-between. It was a happy, fun place to stay. The owners are great and offered many helpful tips regarding our trip. We would look very forward to to staying here again and highly recommend it to others.

i cannot say enough about this place. it is the cleanest, most accommodating, most comfortable B and B I have ever stayed in. we were a group of five bowlers and stayed 4 nights while in El Paso. Our bowling schedule changed and we had to bowl at 7 am instead of 9 PM. So not only were we able to check out after we were done, but George fed the girls who were staying at the house breakfast and then made us bowlers breakfast when we returned to the house. They also allowed the dogs to take our morning walks with us! Not only is the inside of the house beautiful, but the scenery and setting is beyond words. This is like Heaven on Earth. If ever I am out to New Mexico again, I will be sure to hope they have an empty room for anther stay!!! Liz from Beverly Hills Florida

This B&B is just minutes from our home in El Paso, TX, but it feels a world away from our everyday lives. The setting is both beautiful and comfortable, and the hospitality is sincere.

Our stay with George and Marlene (and Abi and Peanut) was the perfect getaway for us. Our room and patio worked well for us, but even better was the visits with our hosts, their tips for places to see and cautions about places too distant, the peace and quiet, and wonderful breakfasts, too!

We had a spur-of-the-moment chance to go south on the way home and looked on bandb.com and made on-line reservations w/ a gift certificate we were given. Well we ended up having to call and tell George & Marlene we would be a late arriving. They were so sweet & let us know that we were welcome to arrive late. Forgetting about the time chance we ended up showing up 45 minutes before we had told them. So now to the good part,we were pleased to meet such wonderful hosts Abi & Peanut (and George Marlene too)! After a very restful night we awoke to a delicious breakfast & warm/interesting conversation (w/ hosts & other guests). We really wished we would have booked several nights there. But our travels took us east later that morning. We will be back though. My husband & I had a womderful time!! Hats off to George & Marlene, truly a unique & genuine couple...

Casa de Suenos is the place to go to escape the every day pressures of life. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast, and if all are run like George and Marlene's place it won't be the last. My traveling buddy is on a gluten free diet and his needs were accommodated without a problem. The views of the mountains and the desert are breathtaking especially in the early morning and evening. Abi and Peanut, the resident canine concierges, make all visitors feel welcome. Whether you need peace and relaxation or want to explore the desert, Casa de Suenos is the best choice. Though you feel far from civilization, you are only about twelve minutes from El Paso. We will recommend the B&B to all of our friends in San Antonio.

We visit family in El Paso and have stayed at several motels and hotels. Our stay at Casa de Suenos was by far superior to all others. The inn is in a beautiful setting. We loved walking into the desert with roadrunners, quail and rabbits all around. The view is amazing. Our hosts, Marlene and George are like family. We look forward to return visits and hope to get a family reunion together there as well.

There are only 2 interesting/charming places I know of to stay in the El Paso area. If you want city, the old Camino Real downtown is nice. If you want nature, seclusion, beauty & relaxation, Casa de Suenos is the way to go. The property is gorgeous & the views from the extensive main patio are unbelievable: desert in foreground, city in the distance capped off by mountains in the far distance. The property is one house away from acres & acres of undeveloped desert. The dogs are SO sweet & Peanut spontaneously decided to take a desert walk with us. Our little private patio with fountain was so wonderful too. George & Marlene are super nice & the breakfast (corncakes & fruit) was awesome. We are already making plans to return at the end of the year.

oh my goodness, it's getting close to my birthday and I always remember Casa De Suenos as being the best birthday ever. The rooms are wonderful, the company incredible. What we remember was the coffee, salsa, view and silence. Thanks friends, hope to be back soon. Shelley and Lloyd

Our spacious, beautifully appointed suite, complete with private patio and entrance provided a comfortable night's rest and excellent breakfast. We loved our hosts and the unusual building in this windswept desert setting.

We made a same day booking at Case De Suenos on our way to Houston. Got in at sunset and were greeted by Marleen which began a wonderful experience. Spectacular views followed by magnificent stars. A welcoming room and outstanding service. Highly recommend. Ron and Susie, Santa Barbara

Our family, 6 total, just spent two nights of our annual post-Christmas vacation at Casa de Suenos, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hosts Marlene and George (and their two pooches, Abi and Peanut) made us feel very welcome in their sprawling abode. Meals were bountiful, fresh, and delicious, too. Marlene and George provided some tips about area attractions that made our stay more fun, too. I heartily recommend this lovely spot if you want to explore El Paso and environs without staying inside the city. Mike Murphy
