Imagine yourself in another time, another place, a time when the pace of life was a bit slower and more gracious, a place where you feel comfortable and pampered. If you have such a desire and need to revitalize your spirit, then you deserve a vacation at Harbor Inn. The Harbor Inn is located on scenic Ocean Avenue, which runs along the Kennebunk River in Kennebunkport, Maine. A town rich in shipbuilding tradition and filled with classic architecture, Kennebunkport has served as an inspiration for artists and writers. For more than a century, many have tried to capture the spirit of the area, the rugged coastline, and the romance that is Maine. Harbor Inn is centrally located. It is an easy walk for you to explore the many quality shops, fine restaurants and art galleries in Dock Square. Experience a beautiful walk along Ocean avenue to Walker's Point, watching the waves break against the shore. Take in the sights and sounds where the river meets the sea and lobsterman ply their trade. Enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic as you walk past legendary Spouting Rock and Blowing Cave. If your tastes are for more active recreational pursuits, you have a choice of several sandy beaches, golf, tennis, biking, boating and fishing - all close by. Harbor Inn is ideally situated for the perfect vacation.

My husband and I have been spending my birthday in July at the Harbor Inn for the past 6+ years. Every year, it feels like coming back home when we walk in the doors. Kathy is an absolutely wonderful and gracious host and whips up some mighty delicious breakfasts. Our favorite room (#3) as well as all the other rooms in the Inn are beautifully decorated with many of Kathy's handmade items. Harbor Inn is within walking distance to the beach and the center of town. Do yourself a favor, spend your next vacation in Kennebunkport at the Harbor Inn ... you will truly enjoy the experience and will, like us, return year after year! Linda and John

My husband and I just stayed at the Harbor Inn this past weekend, and we loved it! Compared to other local B&Bs, the price was fabulous! Kathy, the owner, is a lovely woman, and very helpful if you're looking for tips from a local. The Inn is over 100 years old, and very obviously lovingly kept in order. You're within walking distance of almost everything Kennebunkport has to offer. Kathy and her staff have thought of everything, and provided it. We highly recommend a stay at the Harbor Inn.

This was our first vacation in a B&B. Its was so nice to stay in an old house with history. The Pineapple room was a real treat. The pancake Kathy made in the morning were wonderful. Hope to stay with kathy again....Salina&Bruce

Our stay at the Harbor Inn was wonderful. Our hostess, Kathy, was warm & welcoming and gave us wonderful tips about where to dine and visit. The few couples within had never been to ME and they loved it, too.

A great stay where the innkeeper looks to your needs. Victorian home with antiques and quilts. Good sharing by guests and you are given ideas on how to enjoy vacation days.

This trip was planned as a weekend get-away for friends who don't always have the quality time to spend together. The Inn provided the atmosphere, comfort and privacy to enjoy each other's company.
