Relaxing AND Inspiring

5 on August 09, 2011

From the hot tub, we watched the stars come out, while the llamas made silly faces at us. LOVED Jillian's handmade salve, the gorgeous breakfast, the mini-donkeys(!!) and the inspiring story of a young couple following their dream. My husband and I have since vowed to find ways to make our own lives more artistic and sustainable, and to dare to follow our own dreams. We will be back!

Very nice

Nice back-to-nature couple. Very refreshing. The farm tour was great! We loved Gloria, the llama!

A Cut Above

A very different Country Inn with interesting farm animals and hosts that are hospitable and down to earth. The food is all natural and very different. They sell jams and other home grown items. We stayed here a few days while going to the Britt and Shakespeare festivals. We would suggest this for a nice and enjoyable experience.

A very unique experience

Great rooms, even better food, the Apothecary Inn is a Bed and Breakfast like no other you will find! From the many animals (llamas, alpacas, goats, donkeys, and more) giving a distinct rustic feel, to the stark contrast with the artistic and antique flair of the living area, this B&B made for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast!

Right next door to the Valley View Winery, this is an ideal place to stay for a weekend (or even week long) getaway. The rooms are all decorated beautifully, and are very comfortable. The food that the owners prepared was all fresh from the farm, and was delicious! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy, laid-back jewel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Apothecary Inn. Hosts Ryan and Jillian were gracious and attentive. Wonderful fresh, healthy breakfasts were great starts to our days of touring. Fine quality linens and towels. With only two rooms, this b&b really has a "home" feel. Kudos to the innkeepers on their loving restoration of the house.
