We traveled down to Fairhope for our 2nd wedding anniversary. We picked Fairhope, AL and Emma's in particular after reading about it in Southern Living magazine. Boy, was the magazine article right on! Emma's is a fantastic looking home directly on Mobile Bay. We were lucky enough to get to stay in one of the "Bay View" rooms (second floor left corner of the picture) and spent quite amount of time on the porch viewing the breath taking views. Sunset is a must see from the vantage point of the beautiful porch. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the gourmet breakfest served up by our host Betty. She told us all about the neighborhood and family history which made or stay more enjoyable. This was one of the first vacations we've taken in a long time where everything, and I mean everything, 100% enjoyable and relaxing. The little town of Fairhope has great restaurants and shoppes and all the people are true embassadors of southern hospitality. It was a real problem deciding if we wanted to go out and do or see something instead of staying right there in the room or on the porch. This house is surely an attraction in itself. I would highly recommend it!

We spent two wonderful nights at Emma's! The views are breathtaking, the beds felt like we were sleeping in the clouds, and the food was simply amazing! I would stay here EVERY chance I had! Thank you Ms. Emma for a wonderful weekend - you're the best!!!
