A Taste of Alaska Lodge

551 Eberhardt Road , Fairbanks, 99712 USA (Show map)

The lodge is situated on 280 sunny hillside acres, 15 minutes from Fairbanks. Massive spruce trees were logged from the homestead and crafted into the unique structure of A Taste of Alaska Lodge. The 7,000 square foot natural log building, completed in 1995, is decorated with antiques and Alaskan collectibles. In 1947 Walter and Dorothy Eberhardt homesteaded the original 160 acres and developed the land for farming. Walter continues to farm it today at age 89.

Beautiful Alaskan cabin

5 on October 01, 2011

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the taste of Alaska cabin. The two bedroom cabin was quite spacious. The beds were very comfortable & the shower was plenty hot with great pressure. Kory was a great host. We never did eat with him, but he was super accommodating with times for breakfast. We'll definitely stay here again. We were blessed to see the aurora the last night before we left. Truly amazing, breathtaking, magical... What more can I say? We left four 30 degree sleeping bags behind so the next aurora viewers can be warm while waiting & watching. Kory had chairs for us to sit & view out in the field & we bought the sleeping bags to sit in to stay toasty. It worked great! Thanks Kory, we'll be back :)

The stay at A Taste of Alaska was our final stop on a 12 day Alaskan trip and it was our favorite portion. Kory took amazing care of us and we enjoyed the Lodge immensely. Thank you!!

Taste of Alsaka Lodge is a comfortable place to hang your hat. The owners were veryhelpful in arranging activities and accomodating our large group. I would stay there again on our next trip to Fairbanks.

The owners were very pleasant and worked hard to satisfy us with any questions we had. We hated to leave. The rooms were very, very clean. The breakfasts were fine also. This was the best part of our vacation. Ed and Ruth Rose

A Taste of Alaska Lodge was founded in 1992 by Dave and Debbie Eberhardt. The business initially began with the Log House and Cottage until 1994 when the Main Lodge was built. Dave and Debbie operated the Lodge until their son, Kory Eberhardt, bought and took over the business in 2010. Dave and Debbie still both reside on the property
