I arrived early for our family get together on the 6th of February 2016, only to find a very gracious host Alexandra. The property was well groomed, and the inside of the house was clean, and well done. It seems this day and age of people renting out their homes, well we see a lot of worn out dated stuff, with well staged photos. This place was truly a gem. We rented the top half to have a family get together. I felt after our stay, which was easy to do here, that we had a bargain. I will make Fernwood Circle our first choice next time we get together in Corvallis. Oh I was so glad there was oatmeal ,with a variety of condiments, and coffee as I had forgot to bring some. Thank You Fernwood. You certainly made my first morning easier. It was sad to leave several days later. Sincerely; Mick
Mr. Mick, Thank you so much for the lovely review. I was sad to see you all go too. You have a beautiful family! We look forward to hosting you again. Be well.

I visited my OSU student earlier month. We stayed with Alexandra at the Fernwood Circle Guest House and really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The house was very clean and the linens were so soft. It was great having a fully equipped kitchen . My son gave up the dorm food for the nights I was here. I cooked his favorite meals. We had a great visit. I will be back in a few months.
Thank you Stephanie. It was great to meet you and your son. What great aromas you created in our kitchen. And the chatter of college adults was fun to have in the house. We look forward to your next visit. Best, Alexandra

The Fernwood Circle Guest House is fantastic. We rented the entire house for a few days while at a conference and it was so much better than a hotel. My co-workers and I all ate healthier, slept better and had more fun than we could have anywhere else I'm sure. The house had fresh banana bread, stocked kitchen, grill, great deck, the most comfortable bed I've slept on all year, WiFi and a speaker setup to play music from my phone. I don't know if Alexandra always does this but the kitchen had some kind of awesome coffee with absolutely perfect instructions for making the perfect pot, and there was milk in the fridge. On top of all that there were a bunch of artisan vinegars in the fridge like coffee/truffle something or other - there were so many kinds - and they were so good that I bought a bucket of spinach and ate a ton of salad diligently trying each one. Amazing. Anyhow, you won't regret staying here, it's fantastic.
Hello Luke, Thanks for the awesome review! And yes, organic French roast coffee, fresh homemade banana bread and the flavor infused vinegars are a standing complementary item for our guest. We look forward to having you back. All the best, Alexndra

I stayed at the Fernwood Guest House this summer for a family gathering. I was so delighted this place exists now, as our last stay was nothing like this experience. The house is like a breath of fresh air. We were welcomed with banana bread and friendly homey environment. It's clean yet not sterile like hotels. There is a warmth and simplicity to the decor and furniture. I stayed in the Garden Room and woke up to pretty gardens. The beds are incredibly comfortable. I slept so soundly with a wonderful breeze each night. The kitchen is the most well stocked I've experienced in a guest house. There were great cooking pans, plenty of spices and even a Kitchen Aid. It's very close to a Food Coop and made fixing meals easy and a pleasure. I highly recommend staying here. Alexandra has provided such attention to details with a friendly dose of home. Although we had the whole place for our family get together, I will definitely stay here during my next business trip. The keyless bedroom doors provides the just right amount of privacy. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.
Thank you Julia! It was wonderful to have you at Fernwood Circle this summer. We hope you will return next summer. Best, Alexandra

As an Oregon State alumna who settled in the Corvallis area, I purchased this home as a rental property that needed major renovations. Over the last six years all areas of the home have been updated. I am enjoying living in the lower level of the house while hosting travelers in the upper level. A private stay is also an option. Please ask Alexandra for details.
