Our trip was a surprise gift from our children for our 30th anniversary. Had to play some phone tag to get the reservations set up, but the owner and staff were extremely friendly accommodating. Beautiful historic home. Loved spending time wandering around the place. Will return again if possible!

We have stayed twice. Would love to make it an annual tradition. We have seen each room, but our favorite is Room #3. We love the hot tub on the private porch. We like the location of this room since it is downstairs but not next door to any other rooms. The kitchen entrance is across from our door but we didn't mind. Between our two visits, a new king sized bed was placed in this room. Slept like a baby in it too. Love the fact that breakfast is delivered to your door. We feel very comfortable there unlike B&Bs we've visited before where it was way too formal setting. Love big old houses and the privacy in this place. Would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet get away. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

We stayed at Angel's Nest for our one year anniversary. Everyone we came into contact with was so nice! The home is BEAUTIFUL! We were able to go to them with any needs we had and they were still very customer friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

My husband & I needed a romantic getaway to help our marriage. This B&B was the perfect spot in every way. The room was large, had a beautiful comforter and bed with a Jacuzzi tub and very romantic balcony. I was so pleased that we had bathrobes and a coffee maker included in our room. The inn keeper was not chatty Kathy and were we pleased to not have to listen to all the history of the town and all that other info we didn't want to hear. We were there to enjoy each other and de-stress. We had such a good time that we called home to check our baby sitter to see if we could stay another night. I felt like a different person after having breakfast delivered to our room each morning. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and balcony so much, my husband seems to be a different person now. The grounds were well taken care of and we look forward to doing this again.

We just wanted a change of pace from the DFW area, but were very much disappointed. After only a cursory introduction to the staff/owners (we don't know which), we still don't know anything about this wonderful old house. Noisy (by 18 wheelers passing by), and quite a bit smaller than the pictures suggest. Room 3 advertises a hot tub that holds 8-- no way, maybe 4. They had to fill it with a garden hose through our bedroom to get it hot. We had to hook up the DVD player ourselves, and it was drafty and too cold at first. The house has wonderful potential, but we apparently were there on a bad day for them (whoever they are). With a little more customer service and attention to details, it could be rated higher...
