We have stayed at this B&B many times and love it. The area is beautiful, and there are a number of things to do during the day to keep busy (hike the Enchanted Rock area, tour the wineries, visit Johnson Ranch, and of course shop in the quaint shops of Fredricksburg). Deer and other wildlife abound, so drive carefully at night to avoid hitting something. And be sure to bring your camera.

Great getaway place in the country but nice to have wineries so close by-tasting room next door. Panoramic view from room was great-food was good-relaxing and quiet spot. Enjoyed seeing the stars at night and the sheep next door. Would have liked area menus and information on attractions in Fredericksburg.

We spend our honeymoon here 7 years ago. Came back and it was all we anticipated. Hosts were wonderful.

Taking a step above and beyond to make sure I was able to enjoy my stay. The wonderful staff at Rose Hill created a special menu for me! The staff was kind and courteous and just genuinely nice every step of the way! Thank you.

If you are looking for relaxing surroundings, 4 star food, top notch service, then this is the place for you. If you enjoy good wine, there are many wineries within a 20-30 mile radius. In fact, there is one that you can walk to from the property. A board walk that leads from one cottage to another also leads you into the winery's front door. You can spend a day visiting wineries or do shopping in the quaint German town of Frederisburg which is a few miles away. I absolutely had a wonderful time.
