Welcome to the Viola Street Inn, a traditional Bed & Breakfast, nestled on a sprawling hillside just six blocks from the historic San Marcos Town Square and Texas State University. The Viola Street Inn has been lovingly restored in Texas Folk Victorian Style, by owners Kerry Lee and Anthony Rash, both native Texans and Texas State graduates. Kerry and Tony fell in love with San Marcos while attending school in the 1970’s and knew this was where they wanted to raise their daughter, Anna Lee (A & M Class of 2008). They are happy to provide a welcoming home base for families of TSU students and can help parents and students find solutions to questions they might have during their stay in San Marcos.

I just want to say that our experience at Violet Street Inn B & B in San Marcos has always been an exceptionally pleasurable one. The owners and the people who work there are gracious and pleasant. The B & B itself although not large is quite charming and beautifully restored. It is located in the historic district of San Marcos, so it is peaceful and deer and a variety of birds can be seen. The food is good and the amenities are entirely satisfactory. My husband and I have stayed there repeatedly on his trips to Texas State which is quite close. There are many good restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone for a quick get a way or if you have business at Texas State. It is charming and comfortable. Susan S

Cancellations: Due to intimate size of Viola Street Inn, reservations are important as well as cancellations and do affect us significantly. Your deposit is refundable if a cancellation is received no later than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date, less $20 processing fee. No shows are charged the full amount of reservation.
