Midway between Austin and Houston, Wellspring Retreat and Bed & Breakfast is located in Round Top, Texas, an 1830’s German settlement. At the last census, the population numbered 90. Time moves slowly and gently here. There is no hustle of the big city life which makes this a distinctive place for a personal getaway. The B&B is secluded from but within walking distance of Round Top Square, and we are neighbors to World Class Festival Hill Music Institute, and in the center of the yearly Antique Festival. The Main House, the Art Barn Loft and a 1858 Railroad Depot are clustered among lovely gardens, a walking path and pond. The porches are filled with rockers for enjoying your morning coffee or counting stars at night. The rooms are delightfully furnished, including luxury bedding. The staff is experienced and able to accommodate special requests. We are also experienced in large events, such as weddings and reunions. There is a room capacity for 18. A meeting room that accommodates up to 20 for business training and 14 for creative retreats, and a dining room that accommodates 30 for special events. The owner, Linda Brunson is an accomplished wedding planner and floral designer. We specialize in a complete wedding plan for up to 125 guests. We have every detail to complete your Country Living wedding wishes.

I really enjoyed my stay at Wellspring. I was in awe of the decor and beauty of the buildings and also surrounding area. Ms. Linda is a great hostess. She is so friendly and her breakfast food is amazing! The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

We booked the main house and the Art Barn Loft for a family gathering to see the Nutcracker and have an early Christmas with our 4 granddaughters and their parents. Linda was an outstanding host and made the event a life memory for all. The breakfast was great and Linda set a special table for the granddaughters which added to the memory making.

My wife and I have stayed here over the past four yeas for a local yearly event. It is a beautiful, peaceful areas with great hosts and acomodations. Plus, they have TVs for bored husbands!!!! A+++ in our book!!!
