Chez Lafayette provided a cozy home away from home for our getaway. Granddaughters' Cottage allowed for privacy, while our hostess, Mrs. Crawford, prepared a delicious meal and opportunity for pleasant, interesting conversation during breakfast. We were within walking distance from any points of interest.

Chez Lafayette is a favorite of ours. Ms. Crawford has a beautiful house filled with antiques, and is such a gracious hostess. Everything you need is there waiting for you, and the breakfast is to die for! We have stayed here twice and plan on coming back. Very. very nice!

My stay at Chez Lafayette was by far the most memorable I ever had! In addition to the cleaness, the food was to die for! I will definetaly book my next stay in Jefferson, Texas with Ms. Beth Crawford!

Chez Lafayette is the B&B of choice for me and my wife when we are in Jefferson. Its central location next to the city library and only a block or so off of downtown makes it the perfect place to experience all that Jefferson has to offer. Although it only has two rooms, one in the main house and a larger room detached and in back of the main house, the hospitality is that which one would expect from a much larger operation. The innkeeper, Beth Crawford, provides unforgettable gourmet breakfasts and is a wealth of information about this quaint, historic town. I've stayed at several B&Bs and hotels/motels in Jefferson, but for the last six years, this is the only place I now stay.

I have stayed at Chez Lafayette three times within the past 18 months and it will be the only place I will stay in the future when I visit Jefferson. The property is ideally situated so you can park your car and walk to all the shops and restaurants in old town Jefferson. Beth, the innkeeper, is a wonderfully charming hostess and you can't beat her gourmet breakfasts. She is also very familiar with the town and surroundings so she is full of good information. There is one room in the main house with a private bath, in which I have stayed during my past visits. The room is very comfortable, clean and inviting. The cottage out back is equally as nice and is perfect for a girls trip; it is a bit larger and has multiple beds. Whatever the occassion, you can't go wrong with Chez Lafayette.
