La Maison in Midtown an urban bed and breakfast

My wife and I stayed for one night at La Maison and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The room was luxurious and the food was excellent. Despite being in the heart of Houston, it was a quiet oasis to relax and enjoy some rest and relaxation. I highly recommend La Maison.

very comfortable bed and bathroom friendly welcome great breakfast and great cook named from Italy would definitely recommend to friends husband was hesitant because we usually stay at hotels but this was everything and then some! He was pleasantly surprised that he thoroughly enjoyed this place.

For our second anniversary, we decided to have a nice night away from home in the city and found a city oasis at La Maison in Midtown. The view was awesome, the breakfast delicious and filling, and the owner and her husband were delightful. We might make this an annual tradition and will definitely tell all of our family.

My husband and I chose to get away in the city for a kid free weekend and to celebrate his birthday. This was the perfect place for what we were seeking. The owners and staff treat you like royalty and you can't help but feel great surrounded by such beautiful decor. The food is scruptuous!!! We tell all of our friends to treat themselves to a stay at LaMaison Midtown. We'll definitely be back!

My fiance and I stayed here the weekend after his birthday and I told him I had more surprises for him. When we checked in we were excited, and the staff was wonderful. When we were escorted to our room and entered the room we were both blown away. Our room was beautiful!!!! We both live in Houston and this is a getaway that we will return to just to get out of the house. We loved it!!!!

Excellent First time B&B experience. My wife was expecting us to stay in a hotel and was not quit comfortable about staying until she saw how beautiful the inside of the establishment and the room was. The Breakfast area beautiful and the breakfast served was pretty and delicious. The lounge was also very nice. The staff was wonderful and kind. I would highly recommend this B&B Thank You La Maison! This bed and breakfast is a must see! My husband and I stayed here for his birthday. I could not have chosen a more perfect spot. From the perfect ambience of the room, to the excellent service provided by the staff, this was a great place to stay. The value, cleanliness, and dining experience were also a plus. We are already looking forward to our next weekend getaway.

This place was amazing! Modern, Beautiful, and Extremely Clean. Very convenient to the places we visited. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights. Breakfast was lovely, and the host could not have done a better job making us feel welcomed.

This place is awesome! Me and my sweetie had a wonderful time. This quaint B&B is very well decorated,inviting, comfortable and staffed. The service was excellent! The owners are very nice and it was a treat to stay here. I will definately be back!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had the best time. The entire building was very clean and everything was in its place. The breakfast was amazing, all I'm going to say is.....Sweet Potato Waffles!!!! We will definitely be back and we are telling all of our friends about it.

This is a little jewel in the middle of Houston. Close to everything, beautiful interiors, great hosts, huge, sexy, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Easy on site parking!! Great prices. And a delicious, relaxed breakfast in the morning.

My wife and I stayed here this weekend (7-15-11) and had a great time. This B&B is a cozy place for a getaway weekend with beautifully decorated rooms and a great Innkeeper. Can't wait to go back!!

It was such a refreshing change from a chain hotel. It's very boutique and French European inspired. I loved it and the staff. The room was great and the balcony was great to sit out on and enjoy the view of downtown Houston. I want to go back another time and try one of the other rooms. ~ Dianne, Angleton, TX

Loved this getaway. Loved being able to walk to a restaurant or two, and being close to downtown but not in the middle of it. Experienced staff and owners. Nice peaceful and welcoming veranda; new building, so there are not bathrooms squeezed into a closet, elevator, and could there be a more comfortable bed? We plan to have out-of-town business guests stay here in the future. And we wanted to move in!

The rooms at La Maison are beautifully decorated. Each room was impeccable. They were clean and lovely. My husband and I felt right at home and the owners made us feel welcomed.

I experience La Maison in August 2010 and again on 1/31/2011 to celebrate my birthday at a local establishment in the Midtown area. When I walked through the door, Ms Owens greeted me and asked, "did you bring your blender". That comment was so dear to heart since she remember me from last year. This B&B is so elegant, makes you feel like a queen for that moment. The services and rooms/suite are breath-taking. The innkeeper and proprietor are very polite and professional. This is a fantastic bed and breakfast. It was relaxing again relaxing the second time around. Lives in Houston and the best home away from home B&B.

Luxury, Location, Luscious food -- all within close proximity to the delights offered by downtown Houston. We enjoyed warm hospitality with owners & guests in the living room & at breakfast. We celebrated our 12th anniversary at la Maison & it was so romantic.

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful home away from home. The service is outstanding and the rooms are clean, attractive and comfortable in every way. La Maison is a total value for the price.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maison in Midtown. La Maison has only been open for 6 months, so the place is still sparkling new. Both the innkeeper and the proprietor are extremely friendly and helpful. The location also can't be beat.

La Maison in Midtown is by far the best B&B we've ever stayed at. Our room was impeccably clean and spacious, with luxurious linens and other amenities. The common areas downstairs are comfortable and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed meeting the proprietors -- they are professional, friendly, and helpful. Little touches like a glass of wine when we arrived and freshly baked cookies before bed were delightful. We'll never stay in a traditional Houston hotel again.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and to celebrate our anniversary. We are from Houston, but wanted a getaway close by. This is a fantastic bed and breakfast. It was relaxing and just what we needed! The owners are very polite, welcoming, and hospitable. Our room was very private with a TV in the mirror in the bathroom, which I loved. It was clean and crisp with warm colors. Comfortable bed and pillows. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone! Great restaurants that are even in walking distance.
