We recently stayed in the Garden Cottage for a weekend anniversary getaway. The property is beautiful with huge oaks and a beautiful craftsman style main home. Our cottage was immaculate and charming. Don and Dianna were wonderful and informative hosts. The breakfasts were wonderful as well. Highly reccomended, we will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I spent the 4th of July weekend at the Iron Horse Inn and it could not have been more perfect. The room was beautiful, the hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the inn was perfectly located within walking distance to the town square. I would highly recommend the Iron Horse Inn.

We stayed for a night at this B&B in June of 2016. The place was beautiful, the hosts were so friendly, and you can't beat the world famous cinnamon roles! I have stayed at quite a few B&Bs and have never had as wonderful an experience. I highly recommend!

Beautiful old house that has been restored by the current owners, who maintain it beautifully and cook a delicious breakfast.
Josephine's Suite is named for the youngest Cogdell daughter and mother of Philippa. This two-room suite is over-the-top with luxury. The massive king bed is adorned with Vera Wang linens and beautiful draperies divide the bedroom from the sitting room solarium. The solarium is walled with 15 windows and sits in the tops of the oak and pecan trees. Guests can relax on the beautiful sofas and watch TV, read a book or just enjoy nature.
Philippa's Balcony is named for Philippa Schuyler, Harlem's biracial child prodigy and the Cogdell granddaughter who was never known to her grandparents. The large luxury room is located at the front of the house with a balcony over the front porch. A beautifully appointed king bed, and a sofa and chair adorn the room.
The McBride's previously owned a bed and breakfast in Abilene, Kansas--the end of the Chisholm Trail. The Iron Horse Inn is located near the beginning of the Chisholm Trail. Relax in this luxury king-size room with an extra large bath.
Daniel C. Cogdell commissioned this exquisite Arts and Crafts home built when the original 22-room, three-story Victorian burned to the ground in 1905. The Cogdell Suite is located on the first floor of the house and is a huge master suite with a sitting room solarium of 15 windows.
Situated behind the main house, the Garden Cottage offers that private, romantic setting, but still gives guests the opportunity to join other guests in the main house for afternoon snacks and breakfast. Garden Cottage guests can enjoy the fireplace from the comfort of the king-size bed, sofa, or the 7 foot original claw foot tub. Guests can choose to have breakfast in the main house, in the cottage, or on the cottage patio.
