My husband and I stayed in the Jurassic Cabin which is meant for 2 couples or more, but we did not feel that it was overly large for us. We were very comfortable and although the property is right off a country road/highway, the many trees gave us the feeling of privacy and seclusion. We enjoyed the jetted tub and daily breakfast. Greg and Karlyne are wonderful hosts. They are not overbearing at all, and breakfast with them isn't awkward - it was filled with laughs! This is a great place for singles, childless couples, folks that travel with their pets (like us) families with kids, or even family reunions (the Jurassic Cabin sleeps 8, possibly more; you can also rent out all the cabins if you wish). If you wish to use the fire pit, bring a few extra chairs - and don't forget the smores ingredients.

The only thing lacking was cable TV. 5 The little trail on the property is very nice and a fun walk. The location is very convenient to Granbury and Dinosaur Valley State Park. Breakfast was great.

We stayed in the Jurassic Cabin of the Dinosaur Trail Cabins & Cottages. It is kid friendly including a dinosaur trail and playground behind it. Our family enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning.

We had trouble finding the place due to lack of signage or a street number. When we called the owner, he came part way down the driveway and waved us in. The room was nice enough but we didn't realize that the 1000 foot distance to the lake front included a highway about 30 yards outside our window. The only frustrating part was the TV. We couldn't turn up the volume loud enough to hear it well. However, by turning off the a/c unit, the volume was just OK. Glad it was a cool night. The breakfast was very nice.
