EVERYTHING was wonderful! The homemade goodies and the wonderful decorations were spot on! This is our first trip back to this cabin since the upgraded hot tub was installed and it was FABULOUS!! We needed a break and to celebrate a birthday and find some peace and quiet....this was perfectly suited to that end!! Thank you so much for making us feel like we are home in your piece of paradise!

I stayed at Among the Texas Stars and it was a lovely experience. First, the outdoor space is simply incredible. There are horses and cows on the property, along with deer that you can see in the background. I also saw lots of beautiful birds while I was there. And there were some very cute kitties running around, as well. Monica has set up lots of wonderful treats in the outdoor space, as well. There's a private hot tub for each unit, there are numerous lawn games (moveable disc golf baskets, horseshoes, etc.), a hammock, and a fire pit. We lit fires and roasted marshmallows several nights, which was lovely. And the stars! They aren't kidding -- if you're lucky enough to have a clear night, the stars are unbelievable. The inside of Among the Texas Stars is probably too small for anything more than two adults, but is comfortable for two. Do note that there is nowhere to put your clothing or luggage, so you may want to pack on the light side. The inside of the cottage is very cute and comfortable. There are plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Monica also leaves wood and equipment for starting a fire in the outdoor fire pit. The treats left by Monica were absolutely delicious! The cinnamon rolls and coffee cake were phenomenal! She also left eggs, milk, cereal, and several other treats. One thing to note: it is a bit tricky to find the cottage in the dark. Try to arrive before dark, so you don't struggle to see it! If you do arrive after dark, note that you have to drive about 500-1000 feet onto the property to find it (it isn't the cottage right after you go through the gate). All in all, I really enjoyed the ranch, and will definitely be back -- in fact, I've already booked again for next year!

This was the perfect romantic spot to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. The room was cozy without being cramped. The kitchen was stocked with everything we might need, plus a few extras. The location is so close to a few really nice wineries. Monica and Marc were incredibly kind and accommodating. The brownies and complimentary champagne were such a sweet touch. We'll definitely be back.

Kitchen: Fully stocked to prepare pretty much anything. Provided by Monarc-Coffee, various teas, various hot cocoas, various instant oatmeal, eggs, milk, juices, yogurt, various cereals, blue bell ice cream, homemade biscuits, pumpkin spice cakes and jam. Condiments such as ketchup, mustard , mayo, butter and creamer in fridge. Living Room: Couch, loveseat, recliner, gas fireplace, large mounted flat screen, dvd/cd player, board games. Washer/Dryer - No soap or softener. At Among the Pecans Suite 2 - 2 bedrooms each with queensize beds, bathrooms, dressers. Large garden tubes in both with showers. Master has the walk in shower separate which is easier for elderly clients or those with mobility problems so that they don't have to scale the tub. Towels, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel provided. Winter bedding is very warm, sheets very soft. Only thing that didn't make it perfect for me was that the bed was too soft for me (I prefer firm to extra firm) but the mattress feels like quality. Outdoor patio with furniture, hot tub. Porch with rocking chairs. Large yard on even larger property. Hospitality was second to none, all emails and phone calls answered right away or promptly. Nine mile drive from shopping on main street, a strait shot when driving (not many turns making it difficult to find). Wineries and stores along the way. There is a Walmart between main street and Monarc if you are staying longer and need supplies. Pretty, quiet and peaceful place to stay, really enjoyed our time there.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The views were beautiful and it was SO peaceful and relaxing on the ranch. We brought our German Shepard and he had more fun running and looking at the wildlife. We will be planning another visit soon. We went the end of October and the weather was beautiful.Thank-you Monica.

My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The location is absolutely perfect! The bed and breakfast is located on a ranch out in the middle of no where. We sat on our front porch at night with a glass of wine and gazed at the endless stars. The only downfall to this bed and breakfast is that it is not your typical B&B. The owners stock your fridge with breakfast items like eggs, milk, and cereal, and you prepare your breakfast yourself. My husband and I like this concept because we are late sleepers. However, if you are looking for a B&B that delivers your breakfast to you, you may not want to visit this one. All in all, my husband and I will definitely be returning to Monarc Ranch.
While we do provide homemade baked goods left under the cake dome prior to our guests arrival and a fully stocked fridge, we are so glad that you noticed that we also provide relaxation and privacy. We do offer a full breakfast, but we also allow the guests to enjoy their privacy and wake at their leisure. .
The front porch has a swing enticing rest and relaxation. The living room is painted a soft green to create a comfortable feel while watching the TV/DVD/VCR. A loveseat and comfortable chairs are placed to enjoy both the television and gas log fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen which is fully equipped with range/oven, large refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. There is also a washer and dryer for those longer stays. Two private bedrooms both with queen iron beds have their own bath. The beds are topped with quality, elegant down comforters. Both baths have a large champagne bubbler tub and separate shower (both of the showers is built for the physically impaired). Outside the kitchen a deck leads you to a large private area with table, chairs plus loungers, and a charcoal grill. But the best part of the deck is the large hot tub waiting for guests to enter and enjoy soft twinkle lights for those starless nights. There is a

We love to travel, we have lots of friends near and far, we have 4 children, all we have ever done is feed everyone, entertain, and everyone loves to visit the Hill Country. We had these cute little houses on the land, that had been built at various times since the 1920's, and owning and running B&B's seemed very logical to Monica. Marc on the other hand had to be convinced.
