This was a first for us,(bed and breakfast) we loved it! This is a nice place to stay. The best thing was Bill and Nancy. I had read in another review they had hot cookies waiting for them, we didn't. We will stay here again. This is a GREAT place to get away. Loved it!

We were guests at Davis Mountains Inn over Christmas. We had a wonderful time even though the weather was not so great. The Inn is beautifully decorated and maintained. The food was wonderful with great variety and ample amounts. Our room was on the second floor and we had some heating issues in the beginning, but our host took care of the problem and then continued to check with us to be sure we were comfortable. It was a most relaxing stay.

The host was very nice and the bed and meals were overall good. Check your room carefully for supplies, however--there was no hand soap, bath soap, or tissues in the bathroom when we arrived. The toilet had not been cleaned properly, either. Pillow quality was also substandard; you might want to bring your own...

We got the attic room because it was the only one left for 3 days over Thanksgiving. As mentioned in other reviews you have to watch your head when you bend down near the wall but otherwise it was a clean pleasant room. The breakfast service was very friendly and as much as you could eat of cooked on the spot eggs and other goodies. The owners were very helpful with questions and accommodated us with cereal and fruit when we left really early for a day down at Big Bend. As an astronomer I really appreciated the total lack of outside lighting to make a really dark sky. I would definitely go back and stay here vs. any hotel/motel in Fort Davis.

A great place in every way - we spent four night and hated to leave. We'll be back if we head out that way again. C.M. Hawn

Have stayed with these folks several times, always a pleasure. This stay was (accidentally) booked at an alternate location of theirs...had a full kitchen, very roomy. I'll pick it on purpose next time.

We made a last minute family trip to the the Davis Mountains and were able to book a weeknight stay at the Davis Mountains Inn. The owners and staff were exceptionally nice. Even though we had a loose agenda, they gave us the "insider scoop" on things to see while visiting and we followed their suggestions and saw some of the sights we hadn't originally planned on seeing. The breakfast was really great too! We will definitely plan on staying there again next time we travel that way.

My wife and I stayed one night in the Sleeping Lion Suite at the Davis Mountains Inn in August of 2014. This very nice suite includes a surprisingly spacious bathroom. The lovely, friendly and professional Adriana served us an excellent breakfast. We are very likely to return. Larry & Pamela in San Antonio
