I love staying at the Inn. There was miscommunication about Sunday brunch which set back our schedule a bit, but all was well. The waitress told us there would be a brunch at 9 am and we had come down at 7:30 am. So we waited until 9 am and then she told us they made a mistake and there was no brunch. There was no hot water the entire stay in the Brass or Wicker room.. that made showers very cold! But other than that, this Inn is very nice.

I rented a room for my in-laws as a treat for their recent visit to Li'l D. Everything about the experience was enjoyable! The rooms, public spaces, and gardens are beautiful (they were in the new Garden Cottage, which was spacious and quite lovely, with a 4-post antique bed frame and pond/fish-themed decor). The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed - both in-laws enjoyed restful workspaces in the back gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful (thanks again, Sebastian!). And the food was great - well-prepared, fast, good selection, and a lot of their produce is locally- and organically-grown. I hope to treat myself to a stay here now (and maybe I'll bring along the hubby, too).

Sebastian, the owner, is a master of his craft. From reception to bidding farewell, we were looked after with exquisite care. Gourmet meals, room details to satisify even the pickiest connoisseurs (the Dr. Bronner's products were an especially nice touch!). Clawfoot tubs in each room, quaint decor, light and spaciousness. We were treated like family - I can't recommend Locust Street Inn more highly - we will definitely be back!

My husband & I stayed 2 nights in the Oak room for our 31st wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful & so cozy. We loved the breakfast & Sebastian was an awesome hostess & very friendly! It was so nice to walk next door to Giuseppi's Italian Restaurant for our anniversary dinner, the food was great & such friendly staff. They even have us a free dessert for our anniversary! We will definitely be going back there to eat! I would recommend Locust Street Inn for anyone that's looking for a nice B&B to visit...Sebastian will treat you like royality! ¿¿

My wife and I needed time away from all the daily junk we endure. Locust Street Inn was perfect for us. Sebastian (the Inn Keeper) was personable, giving us some of the history of the Inn, cooked up 2 nice breakfasts of eggs, sausage and toast, and in general made our stay a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

I tried to mark all categories as Outstanding, but the radio buttons would not let me select it. Our stay was absolutely most enjoyable. Sebastian's cooking is amazing, the room was clean and quiet, and the beds and pillows were top quality. Should we ever get away to Denton again, we will be staying here!

I found the room delightful and charming until I tried to go to sleep. All night long I kept hearing a swoosh sound every time a car passed by and my mind would say 'The window is open, the window is open.' I didn't get much sleep. When daylight came, I checked the window to find it is completely rotten, hence the open window. This is a big problem for this house because each time it rains it comes into the house and down the wall to the lower floor. Not only will it effect the walls, but encourage termites because of the moisture, and raises the energy bills. I encourage you to fix this problem to help preserve this wonderful house. I found Sebastian friendly and helpful and he made a great omlette. .
