My girlfriend and I spent New Year's Eve at the Inn for a quiet getaway from the hustle of Dallas on New Years. It was a nice relaxing weekend and the breakfast was amazing in the morning. One of the best places I have ever stayed. The decor is great and fits well with the time period of the house. We will be back soon!

We stayed here in the 'oak' room for a friend's wedding and absolutely loved it! My husband joked about wanting to take home the furniture and I loved the claw foot tub. Sunday brunch was beyond what we'd expected, by far one of the best omlettes I've ever had. If the opportunity arises we'll definitely be staying here again!

My husband and I were looking for some peace and quiet in an historical setting. This was exactly what we were looking for and, in many ways, better. The house is charming and elegantly restored. Add the gourmet breakfast and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Our stay at the Locust Street Inn was only for one night, but we enjoyed it tremendously. The room couldn't have been nicer or cleaner. Linens and towels were high quality and Sebastian cooks an amazing breakfast! Would be happy to stay there again if our travels bring us back to Denton. NOTE: For some reason, I couldn't get to Outstanding on the little green dots, but would've if I could've.

Room was great but poor service. We called ahead to alert them we could not make it by 6 o'clock. When we arrived about 8 all doors were locked and we had no idea how to get in . Someone came to help us after a minute or two, but was obviously aggravated with us and acted like we should know the code to get in. He told us breakfast would be served from 7-10 am then left us to go to our room. Since i had to be at the airport early, we carried our things to the car about 7 and went to the dining room for breakfast We waited til 7:15 but no one showed up so we had to leave and eat somewhere else.

I love staying at the Inn. There was miscommunication about Sunday brunch which set back our schedule a bit, but all was well. The waitress told us there would be a brunch at 9 am and we had come down at 7:30 am. So we waited until 9 am and then she told us they made a mistake and there was no brunch. There was no hot water the entire stay in the Brass or Wicker room.. that made showers very cold! But other than that, this Inn is very nice.

I rented a room for my in-laws as a treat for their recent visit to Li'l D. Everything about the experience was enjoyable! The rooms, public spaces, and gardens are beautiful (they were in the new Garden Cottage, which was spacious and quite lovely, with a 4-post antique bed frame and pond/fish-themed decor). The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed - both in-laws enjoyed restful workspaces in the back gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful (thanks again, Sebastian!). And the food was great - well-prepared, fast, good selection, and a lot of their produce is locally- and organically-grown. I hope to treat myself to a stay here now (and maybe I'll bring along the hubby, too).
