    Out By The Sea Bed & Breakfast was specifically designed as a B&B. Each of the 5 rooms have its own private bath, plush amenities, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and privacy shutters. The rooms are warm and inviting and designed with their own unique charm. We do have a Honeymoon Suite and some rooms have jacuzzis. A full, hot breakfast is served on the spacious decks overlooking the gulf, or in your room upon request. We also host small, intimate weddings on the beach! We help make your dream day beautiful, while keeping it reasonable. Our minister will perform the ceremony on the beach and a small reception is offered. We are committed to making your visit relaxing and tranquil and one you will remember! We are close to the beach and far from stress.

      Straight down I-45 ( this turns into Broadway when entering Galveston). Turn left at seawall and go to second light, Ferry Rd. Please go straight ahead to Ferry landing where you will be directed to board the free car ferry. Proceed as above. This trip takes about 17 minutes and you may feed the birds at the back of the ferry or watch the dolphins play in the gulf.

    DO NOT waste your hard earned money visiting this B & B. The owner has absolutely NO CLUE how to treat the guests OR her staff. The "breakfast" was horrible when she decided to FINALLY start cooking. We were forced to watch her 5 minutes of fame filmed for a segement about Hurrocane Ike she was in before she would start breakfast. I cannot understand how this person can remain in business. You would be better off staying at a crappy motel than this place. NEVER again will we stay here. The ONLY thing pleasant at this place is the view.

    This review deeply saddens and suprises me. We worked with this couple to keep the prices affordable for them, especially for the gentleman who needed and seemed to very much appreciate the discount we gave to him. This was over the Labor Day Holiday and I did not charge the customary holiday rates. We also extended additional support and use of the kitchen supplies to prepare their evening meal. We were complemented on breakfast. Please do read our other many positive reviews! We have been in business for 11 years and meet many wonderful guests and have made many memorable experiences.
