The only drawback is that there is no where to keep your clothing. You have to live out of the suitcase.

My husband & I stayed one night here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rex met us the minute we arrived & I must say he was like a long lost cousin! Each room has its own outside entrance which was really nice, also lots of seating all around the property. Rex made a nice campfire and all four couples sat around it just like old friends, even though we had never met. The next morning Rex served up a wonderful breakfast casserole with biscuits, very yummy. We definitely want to return, after all we need to meet Kathy, since Rex assured us he does have a wife! We will be back!

This was our first experience of a bed&breakfast and it was well worth it. From the complimentary wine, to the clean cozy room, to the sumptuous breakfasts by Rex, the exquisite natural setting, it far exceeded our expectations. A bonus was meeting with other friendly couples during the stay which made the visit very memorable. Would love to come back and recommend. Surajit & Joy, Sugar Land.

We stayed at Rex's Lazy H Lodge during the long weekend of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Austin. From the moment we arrived we were treated as if the guesthouse was our won. The cooked breakfasts were excellent. I'm more of a breakfasts cereal person generally but when I tried the venison back strap that Rex cooked I was incredibly surprised. Very much a highlight of my stay. Would we return...definitely.

We shopped blind and found this gem. Fully embracing its location, the Lazy H is very comfortable and unmistakably Texas Hill Country, rustic but new.The house and grounds are immaculate. Our visit was unique in that we were the only guests, a rarity they claim, but perfect for us. Rex is obsessive about the grounds and his visions of guitar pickin' around the fire. He and Kathy have a special gift for making you feel like family, not guests. Enjoy a cigar and some interesting conversation. Rex and Kathy, well done! Kirk & Susan - Denver

Private entry rooms with access to cozy living room and kitchen plus lots of peaceful outdoor sitting areas where you can watch the deer and visit. Rex cooks some awesome breakfast casserole and there are loads of scenic roads for motorcycle enthusiasts. We did not want to leave and cant wait to go back. -Christi and Billy

Rex and his sister spent countless hours with us - giving us tips for the best tube rentals in the area, the best restaurants, spa experiences, wine vineyards, and places for sight-seeing and photo ops. They even joined us in some of these ventures for added fun!! :) They were absolutely wonderful hostesses!!! The home was gorgeous and had so much character. Rex had put so much heart and soul into it that it made it more special to stay there. We cannot wait to go back!

Recently my husband and I were in the Potter's Park area, in the last afternoon and decided to spend the night at the new Lazy H B & B. T he beautiful patio and 6 deer welcomed us in addition to owners Rex and Kathy Henry. The details of the décor of the building will keep one's eyes busy. Everything was so perfect. Our room was perfection also, with everything at our fingertips. Our outside door had a keypad for safety. Rex served coffee to us on the beautiful patio while he was making our breakfast. Among the breakfast favorites was Rex's homemade gravy. Wow! Upon leaving we stopped the car in front for one last look at the place to which we will surely return as soon as possible!

My wife and I love the Hill Country and go as often as we can. We liked Lazy H and the owners, Kathy and Rex, better than any other place we've stayed. It was brand new, comfortable and so relaxing. It was great to wake up in the morning and go outside and have coffee while watching the deer have their morning breakfast. We enjoyed the company of and shared stories with another couple from Austin and a single woman from Louisiana while we were there, in addition to Kathy and Rex. We will definitely put the Lazy H B&B on our list for future travel.
