Calvert, Tx is a town unlike any other in the state she resides quietly in the Heart of Texas in the very shadow of the 21st Century. Traveling Hwy 6 30 miles North from Bryan/College Station, 60 miles South of Waco and 90 miles East from Austin you will arrive in Calvert. At the only stop light you will turn East & go over the railroad tracks to Pine St (2nd street) where you will turn North 4 streets to Logan and that is where you arrive at The Bird House Bed & Brunch - Nearest major airport: AUS-Austin/Bergstrom International Airport 90 miles

Coming out of the Austin Airport, turn right on to Hwy-71E to Bastrop. Take Hwy-21 N to Caldwell. Hwy-36N to Milano Hwy-79E to Hearne. Take TX-6N to Calvert (Stay in right lane on TX-6N).
At the only stop light you will turn right & go over the rail road tracks to Pine St. (2nd street) where you will turn left and go 4 streets to Logan and arrive at The Bird House Bed & Brunch

Cyndi B. and Don are both native Texans. Cyndi has been in the retail clothing business following in the footsteps of her father. Don started his career as a baseball coach and later went into the retail business.
As a little girl Cyndi always wanted to live in an old Victorian home. Her dream came true about 20 years ago when she purchased the Queen Ann Victorian built in the late 1800's. - The innkeepers speak: English
