We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the weekend. Great location, but most of all a great building. It has a fantastic veranda, and a huge Koi pond that was a lot of fun. Kate was also a delight. We were very happy with our decision to stay there and plan on returning. Thanks

We thoroughly enjoyed our Memorial weekend stay at the Veranda Guest House ~B&B. The Davy Crockett suite was large, spacious & decorated with some wonderful period pieces. The sitting room was very comfortable with a flat screen TV. Kate was a wonderful hostess & provided a pleasant breakfast including fresh fruit, quiche & biscuits. The location is a couple of blocks from 281 & 29, so you have easy access to any of the major points of interest. She also recommended Jardin Corona Mexican restaurant that overlooks Hamilton Park – friendly staff, good service, great Margarita’s & Tortilla soup. We’re looking forward to another visit & would definitely recommend the Veranda. For those wanting to go wine tasting the location is excellent. Marble Falls, Llano, & Lake Buchanan are just 30 minutes or less away.

    Amazing!

This quiet, relaxing B&B has a koi pond and beautiful garden area, just one block from the square. Homemade quiche and jams--wow! The oversized, comfortable rooms decorated in vintage style with modern conveniences were beyond our expectations. Owner Kate was congenial and accommodating! We will return!

We enjoyed our stay at Verandas Guest House. The room we stayed in was really nicely decorated and comfortable. We also enjoyed the chocolates that Kate had left in the room! Kate was very friendly and helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations for dinner. Since we were the only guests, for breakfast, she gave us the choice of going to a buffet at a nearby restaurant or cooking for us. The buffet was very good and she gave us a meal card that included enough money for a generous tip. We would definitely consider returning to her bed and breakfast.

The Verandas was the perfect place to stay. It is in walking distance of the train and town square. The rooms were HUGE and we had plenty of space for all four of us. The television included a DVD player which is a plus when traveling with kids. Kate made an outstanding breakfast each morning. The kids LOVED feeding the fish in the pond and playing cards on the game table. This was our first experience in a Bed and Breakfast and we can't wait to do it again. When we arrived my four year old said, "This is lovely." I couldn't have used better words myself.
