We have stayed at Messina Hof Winery's Villa multiple times over several years. We always enjoy it. The inn keeper and all the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Beautiful place to stay - felt more like a boutique hotel than a B&B, but we really enjoyed it.

First impression as we drove in was picturesque and relaxing. Rooms were romantic and Jean, the Innkeeper, provided excellent service and a delicious champagne breakfast. Although the Vintage House Restaurant was not open while we were there, the Wine and Cheese reception in the Wine Bar allowed us the relaxing beginning of a delightful weekend.

We came for a weekend to take the Bluebonnet Wine Trail. Room was great-- clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Hospitality and service were both excellent. Champagne breakfast was delicious both mornings, but dinner in the restaurant was not as good as we expected compared to the quality of everything else. All together, a really enjoyable stay that we recommend very highly!

This was our second stay at the Villa on busy weekends, We were attending graduation at A&M at 9:00 am and they served breakfast early to accommodate us. The breakfast and the wine and cheese tray were delicious. We have stayed in "Camelot" and "Texas" and they were both very nice. The Villa is nice alternative to the hotel chains that jack up their rates for football and graduation weekends. Our grown children were able to join us for breakfast on Saturday morning and they liked it too. I wish we had discovered the Villa sooner!

The rooms are elegantly appointed with unique furnishings and art from the owner's collection from his travels across Europe. The ambiance makes you feel like you are in Europe. The service was fantastic; very attentive. The restaurant serves food prepared with the different wines they have and is high quality. The wines are some of the best, especially the Paulo Port! If you are lucky, Paulo will be there and sign your bottles and hang out with the guests. We just visited last year and decided we would stay at the Villa this year and are so glad we did. It was great!

My husband and I visited the villa and winery for the first time this last weekend, and we absolutely LOVED it! Very romantic and quiet. Awesome people and all very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was very nice. We will definetly visit often! Very romantic, perfect getaway!

We stayed here on a football weekend so, of course, the price was high, but the accommodations were much nicer than your typical hotel. The location is away from the crowds so you can have peace and quiet if you so desire. The restaurant is wonderful and it's nice that they only inflate their wines prices slightly over the same price of a bottle bought directly from the winery next door. Our room had a nice patio looking out at the woods and each room has a unique theme. My only complaint would be the huge tube was treacherous to enter and exit since the preferred end also contained a ledge and large back slope for taking a soaking bath. The staff are all exceedingly friendly and helpful.

The Villa at Messina Hof Winery was a quiet get-away in the middle of an Aggie football weekend. The grounds were lovely. We were able to take a stroll around the pond, see the vineyard and discover quiet gardens. The wine bar with its selection of cheeses was refreshing and the restaurant was amazing! Hats off to the service and the chef!
