Originally part of a 3,300 acre cotton plantation, Roseland Plantation is currently 18 acres of combination manicured lawn and east Texas woodland. With five buildings, rich in history and all dating back to the 1850’s, it is easy to imagine life at a more relaxed and slower pace. The main house, Victorian in architecture with a large columned porch, has four bedrooms each with a private bath. The log cabin across the drive also includes a kitchenette. Common areas in the main house include the beautiful formal parlor, the library with walls of books (and the only television in the house), the exquisite dining area, the butler's pantry where beverages and snacks are always available and the porch and patio sitting areas around the house. A hearty country breakfast and a complementary tour comes with your stay. When traveling to east Texas, Roseland Plantation Bed and Breakfast serves as a comfortable and relaxing “home base” for Canton’s First Monday shoppers, Tyler’s many social and community events and the countless antique shops located in nearby towns. Located on State Hwy. 64, twenty-five miles east of Canton and only six miles west of the Tyler Pounds Airport, guests are able to remain close to shopping, cultural and business centers of the area, and yet return to the tranquility of the rolling hills of east Texas and our charming bed & breakfast.

Driving west from Tyler on Hwy 64, we are six miles west of the Tyler Pounds Airport, on the left-hand side (south side)of the road.
Driving east from Canton on Hwy 64, we are 24 miles east of downtown on the right-hand side.

DFW AIRPORT: Drive east on Hwy 80 out of Dallas to I-20 exit in Terrell. At Terrell stay on I-20. Once on I-20 going east, take EXIT 540 toward FM-314/VAN/EDOM. Turn RIGHT (going south) onto FM 314. Turn LEFT (going east) onto TX-64. Roseland is about 5 miles on the right. Please enter through the lighted large white brick entrance with Roseland Plantation's name on it and follow the gravel drive to the front of the Windsor House. - Meeting places:
