    Perfect Getaway!

    April 24, 2013

My husband & I stayed at The Hideaway for 3 nights for our 38th anniversary getaway. We both thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and it was tough when it was time to leave. Ann & Meg provide a wonderful, peaceful environment with all the comforts of home and with a personal touch that is hard to find these days. I highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone looking for a getaway from the daily chaos and stress of daily life. We can't wait to go back again!

    Perfection At Its Best

    April 23, 2013

My girlfriend and I stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast that ended up feeling more like a home away from home. From Ann's warm greeting to Meggie's daily newspaper service, we found that staying in was just as pleasurable of a vacation, if not more, than going out. We particularly enjoyed our nightly hot-tub excursions. Ann and Meggie took care of us in the best of ways, somehow knowing the best time to come down and make the room like home, and when to let us relax by ourselves. Ann was always sure to be a text or a phone call away if needed. We really enjoyed the seclusion of the area, while still remaining close to the bustle of the city. We are already planning our next visit! ~R&R

    Quiet Escape

    March 25, 2013

My husband and I were looking for a Spring Break getaway and The Hideaway was the perfect place. As soon as we arrived, I felt the stress melt away and Ann (the owner) really was great about creating a romantic atmosphere in this place with the hot tub, fireplace and lights on the patio. We were well cared for the whole time and left feeling refreshed!

    The Perfect Honeymoon Getaway!

    March 20, 2013

My husband and I were looking for a private, cozy honeymoon getaway and fell in love with the place from the pictures. Once we got there, I almost cried. The room was clean, cozy, very close to anything we needed and it created a perfect escape for just the two of us. We were able to sit in the hot tub one night, all toasty and warm under the beautiful Texas sky. The next night we made a fire in the chimenea, had dinner under the gondola with the icicle lights shining around us as the sun was going down and listened to music for the most romantic evening. We were soothed by the rock fountain day and night. The place is airy, very clean, the decor is a most romantic antique feel with quilts, milk glass bowls and so on. I don't think I could have found a more perfect place to honeymoon with my new husband. We walked away refreshed and relaxed with plans to come again next year to the exact same spot. Ann was so lovely, never intrusive and allowed us the perfect privacy to just be together. Meggie, her wonderful dog, was a joy to have around whenever she came by to say hello.

    The Perfect Getaway

    February 12, 2013

Ann has created the perfect private oasis at the Hideaway. The worst part of our stay was actually having to leave. This was our first BnB experience and it was more than we could ever expect. We enjoyed evenings on the patio by the chiminea and mornings in bed with the best continental breakfast we have ever had. The bed was also very comfortable. We will return to the Hideaway and would definitely recommend this BnB. -M&B Dallas, TX

    BEST EVER!!!!

    December 30, 2012

You CAN NOT go wrong staying at this wonderful B&B. We stayed for a Christmas getaway and were greeted when we walked in our room by charming christmas decor and christmas carols playing. The privacy was awesome with our own hammock, porch, patio, and private hot tub. The hostess Ann went above and beyond to meet and anticipate our needs. On arrival we took a brief nap in the bed before going out and found she had come in and freshened our room in the afternoon! Other darling touches inside like starbucks coffee syrups and other pampering items made our stay complete. I just can't find the words to describe how wonderful the facility and hospitality is - and the price was beyond reasonable!

    Little Gem Near Lake Travis

    December 23, 2012

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at this sweet little cottage paradise and enjoyed every minute of it. Personal service by our gracious host Ann and little buddy Meggie made our stay one of the most comfortable experiences we've had. The setting is serene and warming, and we loved the outdoor patio, where we spent every evening along a cozy fire. Our host made sure our room was cleaned to perfection and everything replaced and added-we never had to ask for anything. If we needed anything, it was provided to us, such as a cooler when we most needed it. The huge bonus to this wonderful stay was we were able to bring our dogs to enjoy the stay with us. The Hideaway is the perfect little getaway in the best areas the Hill Country has. Parks, trails, and great dining are minutes away. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Hideaway to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay near Lake Travis.

    unforgettable night

    October 08, 2012

Although we only had time to stay one night, Ann and Meggie were so thoughtful and friendly, we didn't want to leave. Ann thought of our every need and desire, and was right on the spot with answers to any questions. the place is spotless and very attractive. We spent a very restful night, and also enjoyed having our newspaper delivered by Ann's sweet dog, Meggie the next morning. We really want to go back when we have more time to spend there.
