Welcome to The Hideaway! We’re a secluded B&B less than 5 minutes from Lake Travis and Lake Austin, only 20 minutes to DT Austin. We’re right off RR 620, just 5 minutes from the Sunset Capital of Texas (The Oasis - Austin) and right across the street from the historic Mansfield Dam County Park which has the most accessible boat ramp on Lake Travis. You’ll enter The Hideaway through private Tuscan walls and bamboo borders. Follow the flagstone path down to your secluded cottage. Come on in, unpack your bags, and get comfortable! Turn on your favorite music and collapse onto the soft bed. Take in the quaint and crisp décor, including the genuine hardwood floors, shimmering walls, freshly tiled bath with unique antique wash basin, and the new & fully-furnished kitchenette complete with refrigerator, microwave, portable cooktop, toaster oven, and dishwasher. You may want to explore the grounds. Trek up to the main courtyard and gaze at the towering tree canopies, colorful gardens, meditation trails, gurgling water features, and enjoy watching the birds and squirrels play. Or collapse into your hammock and melt away the stress. You may want to meander over to your own private patio to read a good book under the pergola. Or slip into one of our soft robes, make yourself a drink, and slide into your own private outdoor hot tub for a relaxing soak under the stars. Fire up the grill for an old-fashioned outdoor cook-out. Or, only minutes away, you’ll find dozens of restaurants from very casual lake-front cafes to some of Austin’s finest dining experiences. For entertainment, you'll find plentiful shopping, golfing, boating, fishing, kayaking, parasailing, zip-lining, and many more fun activities - all only minutes away from The Hideaway. While you're away at dinner, we'll set up breakfast in your cottage. You'll awaken to pastries, fruits, coffees, teas, and juice. Please come and enjoy a wonderful stay at The Hideaway!

We stayed for 5 days at this lovely bed and breakfast. Everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. This was a perfect get away. Ann made sure to clean our room whenever we were out. Ann and her dog were very sweet.

My husband took me to The Hideaway for my birthday to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It was perfect! We stayed there the entire weekend grilled out, stayed in the hot tub and relaxed. Ann was a great hostess and Meggie was an awesome addition to our stay. We highly recommend this place for the perfect getaway. Enjoy!!!! :-)

We stayed at The Hideaway for our honeymoon. We are a 24 yr old couple and we were looking for something romantic in a good area with fun things to do. This place delivered all of that and more. I wasn't expecting much given the nightly rate but I was pleasantly surprised and even shocked! My wife immediately swooned upon pulling into the drive. The stay here truly made us feel special. Everything was perfect right down to the smallest details. The room was absolutely spotless and incredibly charming. The pictures don't do it justice. Ann and Meggie were the sweetest hosts you could hope for. We don't make too many trips to Austin but The Hideaway is now our first choice when visiting Austin. We would have to be crazy to stay in a hotel now that we know about The Hideaway. Thank you so much Ann and Meggie!

This B&B is so magical... the plants, the flickering lights, the hot tub, the stars, the way it seems like little elves show up to bring you fresh pastries and juice and freshen up your room! The Hideaway is absolutely wonderful!!

My wife & I recently stayed there 3 nights - celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place to 'hide away', quiet and peaceful. Especially liked the fountains and scenery. Ann & Meggie were great. And it's just minutes from Austin. We couldn't have had a better place.

My husband & I stayed at The Hideaway for 3 nights for our 38th anniversary getaway. We both thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and it was tough when it was time to leave. Ann & Meg provide a wonderful, peaceful environment with all the comforts of home and with a personal touch that is hard to find these days. I highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone looking for a getaway from the daily chaos and stress of daily life. We can't wait to go back again!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast that ended up feeling more like a home away from home. From Ann's warm greeting to Meggie's daily newspaper service, we found that staying in was just as pleasurable of a vacation, if not more, than going out. We particularly enjoyed our nightly hot-tub excursions. Ann and Meggie took care of us in the best of ways, somehow knowing the best time to come down and make the room like home, and when to let us relax by ourselves. Ann was always sure to be a text or a phone call away if needed. We really enjoyed the seclusion of the area, while still remaining close to the bustle of the city. We are already planning our next visit! ~R&R

My husband and I were looking for a Spring Break getaway and The Hideaway was the perfect place. As soon as we arrived, I felt the stress melt away and Ann (the owner) really was great about creating a romantic atmosphere in this place with the hot tub, fireplace and lights on the patio. We were well cared for the whole time and left feeling refreshed!

My husband and I were looking for a private, cozy honeymoon getaway and fell in love with the place from the pictures. Once we got there, I almost cried. The room was clean, cozy, very close to anything we needed and it created a perfect escape for just the two of us. We were able to sit in the hot tub one night, all toasty and warm under the beautiful Texas sky. The next night we made a fire in the chimenea, had dinner under the gondola with the icicle lights shining around us as the sun was going down and listened to music for the most romantic evening. We were soothed by the rock fountain day and night. The place is airy, very clean, the decor is a most romantic antique feel with quilts, milk glass bowls and so on. I don't think I could have found a more perfect place to honeymoon with my new husband. We walked away refreshed and relaxed with plans to come again next year to the exact same spot. Ann was so lovely, never intrusive and allowed us the perfect privacy to just be together. Meggie, her wonderful dog, was a joy to have around whenever she came by to say hello.
