I'm so happy we stayed here for our weekend trip to Austin instead of a hotel. The location is unbeatable, and very laid back. Matt was very friendly and helpful when suggesting things to do or restaurants in the area. We had the studio apartment and it was great because we had our privacy and separate door in which you could access S. congress. It was simple and clean-everything you need! I would definitely stay here again next time I come to Austin!

This place is a really nice Austin experience. Located to lots of cool stuff. The neighborhood is quaint and it's a better feel than staying in a faceless chain hotel. Loved the porch swing, friendly house animals and the room decor. The only downfall of the room we stayed in was that it was right next to the main entrance and the walls are thin. If I stay again, I'll try to get a more secluded room. Overall, I loved it!

Everything was pretty much walking distance. We had a great stay, place was nice and clean. Matt was super nice, and was around if we needed him but kept to himself for the most part. We were very happy all in all and will stay here again, for sure!

I had a wonderful time staying at Matt's house. The room was clean and bright, and I had a private bathroom. It was election night in the USA and I had the opportunity to sit in the living room with Matt and watch the returns. Super nice guy, and interesting to hear his story. World traveler and new father! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is nice private room with a spacious in suite bathroom on the second floor. Light and airy describe the room. It has a queen size bed a small desk with printer and a skylight.
