We saw several rooms and were very impressed with the beautifully themed rooms and the service was outstanding. Would definitely go again.

The staff was very helpful and service was excellent. Despite arriving after their posted after hours time, someone was there to greet us and helped us to complimentary snack and wine. The grounds and house are well maintained and exceeded our expectations. The house was in walking distance to the main spots in Austin that most would want to visit. (Note: Walking distance in cooler months). Perhaps the only disappointment was the breakfast. It was a Continental type breakfast and was not ready the day we were there for it. With that said, for the price and location its a great deal and with the fabulous restaurants within minutes of the location it is perhaps best that you are not missing much. On the whole, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be return visitors!

My too short stay at the Inn was wonderful. The place is unique with beautiful grounds, fabulous antiques and special hospitality. I definitely recommend stay here for any visits to Austin. Next time I will stay longer.

The variety of rooms made us want to come back and stay in all of them! Very beautifully designed place, excellent service, and great location of you want to be close to downtown.

Really nice place to stay. The staff is tremendously helpful. They were willing to go above and beyond. Very helpful in giving suggestions as to restaurants and sights. Constantly asking if there was anything we needed, at the same time not pushy or bothersome. Sitting areas are nice and comfy. Relaxing light music playing in tree shaded areas. Historical. Room was very comfortable and amply sized. Centrally located to areas of interest. Parking is easy, and easy in and out of hotel parking to side and main street. Beautiful place

In looking for a place conveniently located to UT campus to attend a concert while celebrating an anniversary, I quickly found "The Pearl". As one of the amenities I wanted was a Jacuzzi tub, the Gothic Suite was a focus. The room was outstanding. The color scheme was perfect and pleasantly decorated. The main room was very quiet, almost too quiet when wanting to do anything besides sleeping. Enter the day room that is part of the suite. The small size of the room compared to the wall of windows meant that one could listen to rain falling or hear a little of Austin outside. Can I just live here? The service was the best I have ever had... Maybe too good. Should I feel guilty that housekeeping organized our shoes? A glass of local wine was available upon request. Staff was courteous and always helpful. No doubt that I want to return. The Pearl does not market itself as a B&B and clearly says "continental breakfast", so... It is what it is. I prefer it over a voucher where I have to leave the premise when I "mostly" want to eat a simple breakfast before beginning the days activities. Would some local baked goods and cold-brewed coffee seem out of place when staying in a beautiful property in downtown Austin? Absolutely not.

Gorgeous rooms with elegant decor. This was a quiet spot tucked in the campus area of one of the busiest cities. Easy access to all Austin has to offer. Very relaxing outdoor areas with comfortable seating and plenty of shade.

Pretty place, lovely rooms. I stayed in Oxford - which is outstanding if you like wandering around, like I do: the bathroom is down your own private hall. Pearl Street is a central location with good walking streets. I sometimes avoid b and b's as I like my privacy, but I never felt it intruded on here. Jessica was generous and accommodating - she helped me with some electronic issues and also with a good dining choice and more. Breakfast is upper level casual - fresh strawberries, for instance. I really enjoyed my stay and will come again.

My husband and I found a gem in this Inn...fabulous location, fine food and decor with excellent service, on-site parking and within walking distances of many venues & restaurants. Go for the weekend when Jessica was our hostess...so caring and helpful.

My husband and I used to live in Austin, and once we moved, during our first visit back my MIL booked us a room at Austin's Inn at Pearl Street. It was a quick but wonderful stay, which led us to book again for another quick stay with some friends who were visiting from England. The rooms have such charm and the staff are very helpful. If you enjoy Indian food, check out the Clay Pit (Andre'a recommendation), which isn't far from the hotel. The food is delicious!
The Bombay Room (click Tree House photo on right to view) is adjacent to the Tree House Suite. Both are accessible to each other through a simple door that can either stay closed or be opened to share as an entire 1000-sq. ft. comfortable mini-apartment. The Bombay Room (located in back of Inn, 2nd floor) is decorated in a light & airy feel of palms and elephants. With it's own private entrance from a second story observation deck, this newest addition had plenty of closet space and a great view of the Inn's cobblestone courtyard. The Bombay and Treehouse serve as two seperate suites with an adjoining door, which can be opened up to provide for a larger two bedroom suite.
The billowy topped floral chintz draperies lend richness and luxury to this large, cozy sun-bathed bedroom. The look of classical elegance basks in a sunny glow of yellows & bronzes in the French Room. The room features F. Schumacher wallpapers and fabrics, and the ceiling is papered for an intimate ambiance. Accenting the entire room is a gorgeous crystal chandelier, which enhances the stunning French antique furniture. Relax and step back in time into an original Victorian-era freestanding claw foot bathtub/shower to bring quiet closure to your day in the French Bathroom. The impact of the original tile floor and visual depth of the space is enhanced by the addition of the wall coverings. Take a bubble bath break! Don't you deserve it?
