In the old beautiful castle of Ripa d'Orcia (XIII sec.), set upon a rise in the centre of Orcia valley there is nowadays a comfortable country Residence with rooms and apartments ideal for relaxing stays. Ripa d'Orcia, an architectural complex which has survived virtually unchanged, offers to his guest and visitors hospitality. In the historic houses which have comprised the Borgo, from 1990 there are six comfortable and charming double bedrooms with private bathroom/shower, breakfast, rustic tuscan furniture and seven large self-catering apartments with their own cooking facilities which can sleep 2 or 4 people for longer (one week) and indipendent stays. Inside the walled enclosure gardens, public telephone, panoramic pool and terrace, and an original common reading room with fireplace, games and books are available. Lastly the dining room with wood tables covered with cherry checked cloths, where breakfast and dinners are served using home-grown products.

The farmhouse Borgo Campanile is located at the edge of Montefiascone, a cute small village on the shore of Lake Bolsena. The stone farmhouse is surrounded by a beautiful park, with many oak trees, olive trees and gorgeous flowers. In the summer you can take a refreshing dip in the sparkling blue swimming pool (10mt x 5mt) and relax among the scent of sunflowers and lavender. Located in a rural landscape, our home offers a magical and romantic getaway, with wraparound colored sunsets. The farmhouse offers guests 3 apartments; two smaller ones with max occupancy of 4 persons and one for up to 8 people, all furnished with elegance and in tune with the rustic environment of the farmhouse. Near Borgo Campanile you can visit towns of cultural and historical importance (Rome, Viterbo, Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Tuscania, etc..) Around Lake Bolsena there are many folk villages such as Bolsena, Capodimonte, etc.. There are two natural parks: The Monte Rufeno natural reserve and the Selva del Lamone. Borgo Campanile is managed by the owner, Susan Luciani, who prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests, made with blackcurrant jams, raspberries and blackberries; "homemade" colored cakes.
