    Ixora Place is located on the out skirts of Arima.We are only 15 minutes away from Piarco Airport in a relaxed,quiet neighbourhood with secure parking.The Cleaver Woods Recreational Park, with its Amerindian Ajoupa is 10 minutes walking distance.The world famous Asa Wright Nature Centre is 30 minutes away in the mountainous Northern Range.We are ideally positioned to expose you to the northeast of Trinidad, a naturalist's haven.Leatherback Turtle nesting season is March to August.Tours can be arranged for nature enthusiasts to experience our Flora and Fauna,wetlands and forests,and other parts of twin islands.Trincity Shopping Mall is 15 mins away with a variety of restuarants,cinemas and shops, with a nearby 10 hole golf course.We are ideally located to afford you a memorable stay

    Home Sweet Home

    We stayed at Ixora Place B&B; in February 2012, just before the Carnival, for one week with our 4 children. It is located in Arima in a very quiet and safe residential area. By car, Ixora Place is not far from the airport neither from the Trinity Mall nor from the main road to Port-of-Spain. In fact it is located in a perfect central area if you want to discover Trinidad and not only stay in Port-of-Spain. But remember the traffic is sometime heavy and it could take more time you expected to join some other part of the Island even they are not so far on the map. Overall Clare and Gerry were wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and welcoming. They know very well Trinidad and it was great to chat (to lime) together! They shared numerous tips and information about their country and about the Carnival that made our travel easier (they can also arrange tours on demand). Also Gerry kindly met us at our arrival at the airport and helped us very nicely to find quickly a solution when we got trouble renting a car. The house is very charming and very clean, with a beautiful garden. The two rooms are comfortable with good beds, fridge, A/C, TV and WiFi access. The unique bathroom is very well accommodated. Clare has exceptionally culinary skills. The breakfasts were homemade, delicious and healthy. It was made of local food with a great variety of products, sometimes personalized to accommodate special taste of one of our children. Dinners are also available on demand. To resume our experience: it was a peaceful and perfect place to stay with our family and we would highly recommend it. They made us feel at home and we hope we will keep in touch with Clare and Gerry!

    We were with Clare and Gerald in August 2012. It was a beautiful and comfortable experience. Everything we needed while there was arranged to compliment our stay. Will I do it again? Yes!... Clare, don't make plans for my date in August 2013. :) Faith and Simon

    best bed and breakfast

    I had the pleasure of staying at ixora place about one week ago when i was looking for a getaway from my extremely stressful job. As a local i can say that i felt like i was at home due to the feel and friendliness of my hosts as well as the fantastic breakfast every morning. The additional meals were fantastic, never boring and everything fresh and local always beautifully presented. I am 3 pounds heavier but significantly happier.. The service was fantastic, you have the feel of being part of a home but Clare and Jerry are not at all intrusive and having your own entrance and exit gives you the privacy that you need i had guests over and did not feel at all like i was intruding. The room was comfortable, simply but beautifully decorated and clean. So to sum it up if you want a great place to stay and get that true trini hospitality with good company and great food and value for your money, ixora is it..... Thanks again for a lovely stay Clare and Jerry i will be back again and highly recommend ixora place without reservation.. Marsha
