Pets are always welcome at Carmel Country Inn, where there is an endless supply of dog biscuits. Pets are welcome in most nearby shops and some restaurants on leash. Your dog will have his or her photo taken for the inn’s doggie "wall of woof.” There is an outdoor grassy area for dogs to play. Carmel Beach is a short walk from the inn, and it's 100% off-leash and dog-friendly. The innkeepers happily provide guests with a list of local pet-sitters and services.
The Cypress Inn is owned by Doris Day, an animal activist, and Dennis LeVett. Dogs and cats are welcome here, and the historic inn has just blocks from Carmel’s pet-friendly beach. The inn’s courtyard has doggie pick-up bags and an area to wash your dog off after playing on the beach. Because the owners feel that pets are a part of the family, well-behaved pets are allowed throughout the inn and can join their humans in the courtyard for breakfast and evening appetizers. Cypress Inn even has occasional dog-related events, such as Poodle Day.
Just 15 miles away from Austin but on a quiet rural road, this B&B was designed to be pet-friendly. The inn provides dog towels, bowls, bed, blankets, and even a pet-friendly shower. They can provide crates if needed. All doggies here will enjoy homemade dog biscuits. Since the inn is located on 50 acres of woods, there is plenty of room for your dog to romp around. Dogs who love to swim will enjoy playing in Decker Creek.

The farmhouse inn is located just three miles to downtown Rehoboth Beach and is decorated in a warm cottage style that is both pet-friendly and guest-friendly. The property has two acres of grounds where you can throw the ball and play with your furry friend. There are also a fenced pet play/walk area for dogs, pictured left, and a pet shower. Enjoy the great outdoors with your dog at these rustic cabins, which are situated on the banks of a river and are surrounded by pine trees. Five of their nine cabins are dog-friendly. Each of these cabins have luxurious dog beds and delicious dog treats awaiting your pet. One of the cabins, Creekside, has its own fenced-in yard. All dog visitors can play as much as they want in the O-Bark-O Corral Dog Park.
