My husband and I stayed here recently for our 15th anniversary and LOVED it. Kathleen and Darrell were wonderful hosts. The hospitality, the room, the breakfasts, the home itself ... everything was a delight. We very highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast.

We spent one night in the King's room. The environment on the mountain provided such peace and quietness. The meals on the wide porch with music in the background provided such restoration and relaxation! The selection of books was wonderful. The food was increbible. We laughed at our converations during the meals - "yum... mmmmm.... wow..." The hosts were so attentive to details and accomodated us in such special ways. We went to "My Father's House" after an intensive work deadline was completed. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were in a special place. The entire time we felt like God used the environment and the hosts to refresh our spirits. Also, if you like to run, we greatly enjoyed a run on the mountain that morning too with cooler temps! I am recommending this place to many now!

My husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at My Father's House and we stayed in the Oak Room. We were immediately drawn in by all the antique furnishings in the room and parlor and impressed with the house at large. Our hosts were very welcoming and the surroundings so peaceful. The back porch was private and inviting where we feasted on a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed long walks around the neighborhood admiring old historic homes. We highly recommend this getaway!

My first experience at My Father's House was last November. It is by far more than a get-a-way. It is an investment to your soul and memory that stays with you forever! I first visited as a frazzled worker in need of rest, relaxation, and a refreshed spirit...and I received that and much more! My time there was so impactful, that I returned this past weekend with my husband for a night away to enjoy rest together before another busy season for us both. He was blown away as well with the wonderful atmosphere, hospitality, comfort, food, and rest that was received!! Kathy and Darrell are incredible host and go out of their way to accommodate any needs you may have! We are forever grateful and cannot wait to return!!

My husband and I could not have been more pleased to find My Father's House. We visited Signal Mountain for our 2nd wedding anniversary, and as this was our first trip away our 1 year old son, we wanted a place to relax and unwind. Kathleen & Darrel were wonderful hosts-and made us feel right at home! They greeted us when we arrived (late at night too), and showed us everything in the home that we would need. We stayed in the Oak Room-and wow. The photos do NOT do it justice! It was so gorgeous, beautifully decorated with family antiques, and had a flat screen TV with Netflix. (we loved that!) I am a photographer, and was thrilled that vintage cameras decorated the ceiling-to-floor bookshelves. Signal Mountain Point was within walking distance, and we got to enjoy the scenery but still stay close to the BNB. We came the second week of June, and stayed 4 days...loving every moment of it! The food-ah the food. You know something is really good when you compare everything else to it! Darrel has a way of preparing beautiful & delicious meals out of things that normally my husband and I wouldn't be too excited about-but everything was AMAZING and so so good! The orange poppy seed dressing is so delicious over fruit....I tried making some when we got home, but of course I couldn't quite figure out how it made it so good! He prepared us a special candlelit meal at sunset for our anniversary, and that was our favorite evening. The food was to die for-and as a photog, I photographed the entire thing ;) We even had Brittany of BG Photography (from Cleveland, TN) come to the BNB & have a photoshoot of me & my husband, and the grounds were beautiful! If you are looking for a beautiful & relaxing place to unwind and remember why your in love-come to My Father's House! -Shanna-Kaye & Paul Fancher

I was looking for rest, renewal, refreshment... did I ever receive all that and more! From the huge porch, the wind rustling through the windchimes, the soft leather chair by my window, the snuggly white blanket, the books, the chocolates, the soft drinks, the wonderful meals... as though each and every detail was planned just for me. THANK YOU! Cannot wait for the next time.....

My husband and I had a wonderful time at My Father's House for our seven year anniversary. The waffles were delicious, and the owners are very hospitable. We would recommend this B&B to anyone!
