We loved our stay at the Shepard Inn. We're normally Marriott travelers, so this B&B was outside our usual comfort zone but we were so glad we tried it. We actually arrived late and John had already made us dinner reservations at a very good restaurant that is less than one block away. The Inn is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We got the suite with a private sunroom/porch. It was so nice, so comfortable and completely relaxing. John could not have been more nice. He knows the history of the Inn and the surrounding are and is very generous with his time. Breakfast was large and delicious. We'll go back for sure and that's the best endorsement I can give. We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming Mr.& Mrs. Wooden into our establishment, as we do all our guests. The staff worked joyously to prepare for their arrival, and are grateful for their kind words. Mr. & Mrs. Wooden we look forward to your return. Thank you.
