We wish to invite you to stay at our "Prow'd House". It is a beautiful example of a "Lindal Cedar Home" with a cedar lined towering cathedral ceiling and huge prow windows that open up a panarama of Hill Country views. There are two guest bedrooms in the main house, one with a private spa and each has a queen bed, private full bathroom, television, coffe pot, hair dryer and private patio. A second "cottage" in the same style and equipped to the same luxory standard is alongside the main house and has a shared spa and three guest bedrooms on the first floor. One room has two full sized beds. A suite is located on the second floor that includes a lounge with it's own balcony, where the views of the sunrise will take your breath away, a fireplace and kitchenette. The bedroom, with king sized bed and private bathroom, round off this perfect suite for that special occasion. All of our guests will enjoy a full country breakfast served in the main dining room, or, weather permitting on the patio.

If you and your love one are pulled in every direction both personally and professionally, this place is just what the doctor ordered. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, you can relax and enjoy Mother Nature Texas style. Great homemade breakfast surrounded by people looking for tranquility as well. If you up to shopping or hearing great live music, it's only a short distance away. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and plan on returning soon.

Our second stay at the Prow'd House. Nice quiet facility. You couldn't ask for friendlier people.

The owners were wonderful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious in a beautiful setting -- big back porch overlooking their land (but with lots of fans to keep us comfortable). The room was nice with an attached porch with big swings and a hot tub (which we didn't use, but heard from other guests it was nice). Parking was easy and close. The location is ideal -- back away from the road, so quiet, but an easy drive to other locations, including Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, Fredricksburg, etc. Not much to do in Wimberley itself (mostly gift/antique shops) but several nice places to eat/drink/get coffee. A few natural swimming areas nearby that are good to check out.

Donna and Dave were lovely people. The house is a bit off the beaten path so it is quiet. The rooms are small but comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again.

This is my fourth stay at Prowd House. Dave and Donna are the ultimate host and hostess and cook up a mean breakfast. Great get-together with the other guests in the mornings and the rooms are gorgeous! We'll be back! Jim and Cynthia

The first thing we noticed was how beautiful the surroundings were. If you have been living a fast paced life, this is a wonderful opportunity to take a break and appreciate the beautiful trees, flowers and deer frolicking. Dave and Donna are wonderful. They will make you feel just like family.

We stayed at Prow'd House to celebrate our 14th anniversary. Donna and Dave were very gracious and the Angelique Room was very nice. The outside area was beautiful and inviting. Love the porch swings and hot tub! Food was amazing and the company enjoyable. This was our first stay at a B and B and we will visit again!

The hosts, Dave and Donna were so kind and gracious. The breakfasts were superb and so delicious. They even provided a special one for a family due to religious beliefs and diet. Great hosts.

Leave downtown Wimberley on RR 3237 and drive 2 miles towards Kyle. Turn right on "Smith Creek Road", then turn first right on Rocky Springs Road and up the short steep hill. At the top there is a single story house on the left and the road curves to the left. At this point leave the road and take the easment on the right side that continues further up the hill for about 1/4 of a mile until you meet two gates. Take the right gate and follow the road around to the Prow'd House. Directions with photographs can be found on our web sight. .prowdhouse
