My wife and i stayed at the Mariposa (Canyon Sunrise) for our 25th wedding anniversary get-a-way. This was just the perfect cabin nestled in the hill country. Just simply fantastic...pricate hot tub, private pool and cold sheets on the king size bed...

We have stayed at the Mariposa cabin at Canyon Sunrise several times now. Always an enjoyable time, relaxing and quiet. Hottub is great and weather allowed us to enjoy the pool and deck this time.

My wife and I stayed for the second time. Thought we would try it in the winter time. It definately had a different feel but wonderful nonetheless! We still enjoyed the Dragonfly to it's fullest. Great little getaway for us! The instant we walk in the door we are relaxed. Rejuvinated when we leave it what we set out for and we are! Thanks for a great place to just relax!!

I personally designed and built all 3 cabins myself. They were built with local and salvaged materials from old ranch and farm homes. When I am not managing the property I spend my spare time as a fashion and music photographer shooting for Cowboys and Indians magazine. I also love to travel as much as possible spending as much time on my latest hobby surfing.

Deposit Amount Required: All reservations must be held with a credit card guarantee. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation. Your balance due will be charged 30 days before arrival.

Cancellations: Cancelling your reservation in advance of 14 days before your expected arrival, your payment will be refunded to you less a $50.00 bookkeeping fee. If you should cancel your reservation within 14 days or less of your expected arrival, your payment is non refundable unless we can get the cabin rebooked for the same dates minus a $50.00 bookkeeping fee. Guests who choose to shorten their stay while in residence are still subject to this cancellation policy and are responsible for the full balance due on their reservation.

Four moms who were looking for a girl's getaway had a fabulous time! We loved the cabin. So charming! And the view and grounds were beautiful! We loved shopping and eating in the town square. Truly a wonderful weekend! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. As soon as we set foot inside the cabin we were in love with it! It is located in a secluded area and it was exactly what we were looking for. It is a place that you can take your own food into and cook yourselves, or go into town and eat around there. We absolutely loved it and will be staying there again in the summer or for an anniversary weekend!

We have stayed at Canyon Sunrise 3 times (2X Sundance, 1X Mariposa) and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The private hot tubs & pools for each cabin are wonderful! These are cabins in the Texas Hill Country - not hotel rooms - so there is no "service" or "dining" available. However, the owner is easily reached and very accommodating. Can't wait to go back for a 4th visit!

Had a great time at Canyon Sunrise. Everything was perfect. Bob the cat was very nice and like to snuggle up to you. The hot tub was great but there could've been a little less chlorine in the water. My husband and I smellt like that for the next 24 hours. Everything was great! Would definately recommend it and come back.
