A wonderful old home in south TX, where the breakfasts and stories cannot be beat!

Arrived Thursday afternoon and met the owner Bill McLeod and his wife she had the flu and was laying on the sofa. My wife has a problem with stairs so Bill made arrangements downstairs for us, and my 2 granddaughters. The granddaughters didn't stay with us. The next morning we had breakfast with Bill and the other guests. Bill had made a great breakfast for us and even fixed my wife gluten-free muffins. Had a wonderful experience there and will stay there again.

We stayed while the hosts were away and there were innsitters hosting the inn. They were great and very gracious. We felt very welcomed and we had a very positive experience. I would recommend this inn to friends and family looking to stay in Victoria! The house is old and the facilities are likewise but it is a very charming place none-the-less.

Lovely old house but needs much work and updating. Very cluttered and messy. Towels and linens all need to be replaced. Breakfast is eaten with the owners, which we found unusual. Also the doors to your room can not be locked when you are gone. They showed us all the rooms, even though they were rented. We were disappointed and will not return.
