The Italian Place

I loved my weekend stay at the Italian Place. I stayed in the Buona Sera suite, which was amply comfortable. The backyard was wonderful. Between the grill for dinners and the glasses of wine by the fire pit, I left the cottage so relaxed and happy.

Have stayed acouple of times My Husband and I absolutely love staying at the Italian Place, It's very relaxing we always bring bottles of wine from local winery's sit on the patio/play bocce look at the stars!! Bill and Amber are Great company! Can't wait to go back latter this year when we wine hop again!!

We really enjoyed the Italian Place!! Loved having our own space and breakfast whenever we wanted. Will definitely stay here again!!

We simply fell in love. My husband and I came out to celebrate our 15th anniversary at where we now refer to as our little Italy. My husband is part Italian so the room, patio and personal touches really made him feel at home. Our one night stay was not enough. The location is perfect with being so close to Fredericksburg for shopping or visiting winerys. The room was perfect for a romantic stay with all of it's special touches, champagne in the frig, an amazing breakfast ready when we were ready to eat and the kindness of one of the lovely owners, Amber. We could not believe we got all this at such a nominal fee. Truly the owners love what they do and it shows. We are already talking about re-visiting in the Spring to see the beauty of it, all over again.

We had a really nice stay with bill& amber,we loved the the cozy cottage feel and amber was a terrific host we would defintely stay again,thanks DON&DONNA!

The Italian Place bed & breakfast exceeded any expectations we had prior to our visit. Our host Bill and hostess Amber were genuinely friendly and very helpful. The accommodations were simple, clean, and very private. Amber’s breakfasts could rival breakfast at the most elegant hotels. The location in Stonewall worked out great for wine tasting. Most of the wineries we visited were located between Stonewall and Fredericksburg. We enjoyed sleeping in, eating a great breakfast, and then beginning our tasting journey from this ideal location. We always ended up in Fredericksburg and never realized we had even driven the short 14 mile distance. We’ll be going back to The Italian Place.

We had the most wonderful time at the Italian Place. Very much a Tuscan atmosphere.....Bill and Amber gave us lots of tips on where to visit and where to eat and were the best hosts!! Even better was spending time with Luigi and Bunny, the cats, and with Giovanni and Sophia, the poodles. Breakfast on Sunday was delicious and I really loved the chocolate "mice".....so creative. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Texas Hill Country......so much to see and do.

The feeling of coming to Stonewall to visit friends is just a bonus for us for the last three years we come to stay at The Italian Place. Amber and Bill are just wonderful. The room is so cute and accommodating. The breakfast awesome! I even requested the recipe for the muffins....yum! I look forward to my next sojourn to The Italian Place!! Thank you!!

This was a perfect weekend get away. The B & B was in a perfect area outside of town, yet still close enough to go where we wanted. I loved the idea of providing us breakfast to heat up when we wanted and having a full kitchen available to us made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back for our next visit to Fredricksburg.

We were here for our first anniversary and we fell in love with this place. The room we stayed was a small, but cozy, charming and well decorated. They had a beautiful patio and back yard for guests use that made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and well arranged. Amber and Bill's hospitality topped it all off. Amber even helped me catch up with cycling when I struggled initially with it :) All in all, the best stay we could have ever asked for for our anniversary trip.

Our stay at The Italian Place was wonderful. Bill and Amber were a joy. They made us feel at home. The house was very clean and smelled really good. This was my husband and I 1 year anniversary and they made it very specail for us. Durring our next trip to Fredericksburg/Stonewall we will totally stay at The Italian Place again. This is the best Anniversary gift I have ever had! The room was awesome, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it, the jacuzzi tub was awesome, the breakfast was awesome, the hospitality we experienced was like nothing I have ever seen in my life, I wouldnt stay anywhere else but the Italian Place! I will treasure this memory for the rest of my life! Oh the the bike ride was a A++++, I love the whole place if I were to retire today that's one place I will rather live for the rest of my Life!

What a fabulous stay we had at The Italian Place. Our two nights in the Bellissimo were fantastic. Our hosts, Bill and Amber, made our stay truly memorable and we could not have asked for anything better. Both mornings we had a great breakfast waiting for us. And we really liked that we could enjoy our meal on our own time! The room was clean and better than any five-star hotels we have stayed at. We are already planning a trip back during the winter so we can see Fredericksberg during the holidays. The Italian Place is a short 20 minute drive to F'Berg so it was ideal. Quiet, charming, peaceful. Oh, and we even picked peaches from the trees in the backyard and enjoyed them with our already-awesome meals!!! Can't wait for our next visit there...

My husband and I decided to head to Fredericksburg for some wine tasting. The Italian Place was the perfect spot to stay as it was right in the middle of all the great wineries. The bed was comfortable and the jetted tub was fabulous. Oh! And the breakfast was much more than we could even finish. It was private and quiet, and there are peach trees in the back! :)

I spent two nights in the Buona Sera earlier this year (end of January/beginning of February). This place far exceeded my expectations! I only wish that I could have stayed longer. Amber and Bill were very friendly and I enjoyed meeting and talking with both of them. They have a lovely place and it is located in a very nice and quiet area of Stonewall. It is a few streets off the main road but it is still located near a lot of wineries and tourist activities. It is only a short drive to Fredericksburg too. The Buona Sera was very comfortable and had all the amenities that I needed and more. I really enjoyed the fire place and the nice large tub in the bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious! I really enjoyed being able to wake up at my own leisure to eat breakfast in my room. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this place. This has been one of my favorite places that I have stayed during any of my travels. Amber and Bill have done an amazing job and I hope to stay again with them someday. Usually stay in Fredericksburg, but glad we took a chance on Stonewall. Bill and Amber were very gracious host, I want to thank them for sharing their wonderful place. The breakfasts were delightful. It was just the peaceful quiet weekend we were hoping for.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Italian Place in Stonewall, TX for our anniversary. We enjoyed our stay, and Bill and Amber were very accommodating to our needs. The breakfast burritos were amazing, and the patio was one of our most frequented areas. However, I was surprising my wife with the stay, and was a little disappointed with the surrounding neighborhood when we were nearing the B&B. The Italian Place is definitely a nice place to stay, but if you're surprising someone, wait until you've pulled into the gate to remove the blindfold. Once you're in, you'll love it. All I had seen of the location was the beautiful pictures, and before I pulled in the gate, I was pretty upset. We ended up having a great time, and would recommend anyone visiting the Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, TX area to give this place a try.

I've stayed in a lot of B&Bs, and this is one of the best! I stayed in Buona Sera, the smaller of the two rooms – perfect for just me but would have been great for my husband and me as well. The room was spotless and the bed was soft. The wi-fi was fast enough for easy chat, e-mail, websurfing, and Hulu. The satellite TV (with DVD player) was a good size and easily viewed from the bed, with a selection of fun DVDs as well. The sitting area was just big enough to set up my laptop for writing, and the chairs were comfortable (no arm rests, but I prefer that). The jacuzzi was VERY clean and easy to use. There is no shower, but there is a hand-held shower head on the jacuzzi tub. I did not use the shower head - when I needed to wash my hair I just ducked my head under the faucet. The bathroom is small, but you can't beat the amenities at the price they charge - especially on a week night. The kitchenette is right inside the door, and it's just right with the small microwave, fridge, and LARGE sink. My dirty dishes magically disappeared each day, even though I had planned to wash them. I can’t say enough good things about the breakfast. The first day breakfast was a very good spinach, mushroom, and green chili quiche, the second was BIG breakfast tacos, and the third was pancakes and muffins. Each day there was also a good serving of fruit, yogurt, and granola. There was also milk and juice (in sealed containers). The outside sitting areas are really great. I spent every evening sitting out there, drinking a glass of wine and reading. The innkeepers, Amber and Bill, are so warm and friendly. They were easy to chat if I wanted to chat, and they would leave me alone if I wanted to be left alone. It was always easy to find them – either call to them in the yard (where someone was often gardening) or knock on their back door. Everything about The Italian Place exceeded my expectations. My husband surprised me by planning a get-away for us in the middle of the week. He chose The Italian Place in Stonewall -- and I'm so glad he did! The outside area was exceptional -- peaceful, comfy and perfect for quiet conversation. We also loved riding the bicycles along the river, a fun experience that is unique to this B&B. The breakfasts were varied, delicious, and quietly delivered the night before when we were away for dinner. We had a great time, and hope to return again soon.

Perfect location halfway between Fredericksburg and Johnson City. A very short walk to the river. LBJ park is less than 3 miles away. Lots of wineries nearby and Luckenbach is a very short drive. Great hospitality and the breakfasts are awesome. Room was clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Italian Place. Set against the idyllic pastures of Stonewall, I couldn't have asked for a better place. The stars at night truly are big and bright . . . And as an extra added bonus, Bill changed my flat tire on my rental car so that I could get back on the road and make my flight. An absolutely dreamy experience, even with the flat.

A romantic serene cottage. Lots of privacy in a cozy room with a view of peach trees and flowers. The owners make their guests feel like family and serve the most wonderful breakfast.

Our stay at The Italian Place was excellent. We did not spend much time in the unit itself; but, the time spent in the unit was second to none. It was exactly what we were looking for...close to Lukenbach and very quiet. The breakfast was way more than we expected and very delicious. We will definitely be back when we can spend a little more time sitting around drinking some wine and sampling different cheeses. It has been since I was a small boy growing up on a ranch in Oklahoma in the 60s that I have left the door unlocked and felt safe...unbelievable. Great people and a great place.

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and it won't be the last. The Italian Place offered such a welcoming and comfortable room and the location was perfect. We had a nice, quiet stay with no interruptions; thank you so much for a memorable 3 days! :)

Like being given your keys to your own vacation home, this quiet hidden gem is the best place to experience the 290 Texas Wine Trail. My wife and I stayed in Bellisimo and had a great time! Vegetarian and omnivore entrees were prepared and we were able to enjoy them in the privacy of our own room when we chose to wake up. We came away from our weekend feeling rested and rejuvenated. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful two nights at the Italian Place. The property is beautiful. We loved playing bocce in the large backyard and playing with the owners' large poodles. There are also bicycles on the property and we enjoyed a nice country ride. The rooms are very clean and nice. Breakfast is put in the fridge so you can heat it up and enjoy it whenever you want. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it on the beautiful patio. Overall it was a great stay and I would definately reccomend the Italian Place.

The suite was extraordinary I have never stayed anywhere that was like this the building is one of a kind and we were made to feel like family atmosphere is very warm and welcoming we rode a bicycle to the river just down the road I felt young again I will go back again. Thanks Amber & Bill

The Italian place was one of the best and most welcoming bed and breakfast places we've stayed. We just fell in love with Bunny!!!!!, Sophie, Giovanni, Bill and Amber! It felt like home the minute we entered into the driveway - warm, cozy, inviting, quiet, private, relaxing. From the delicious food to the tasteful decor, every little thing had a special touch with detailed perfection. The hosts made sure our room was air conditioned after arriving from a hot day of shopping in Fredricksburg, the fridge had cold water, breakfast for the morning, and a birthday cake for my Mom and daughter!!! The church we attended for Saturday evening mass was just around the corner, LBJ National Park is a stone throw away, Fredricksburg was only 12 miles away which I loved because you don't hear the loud noisy motorcycles at night while sitting outside, Becker Vineyard and Wild Seed Farms is less than 4 miles down the road. Unfortunately, we missed the peaches by a month, but I loved this place so much that we will be back at a time they are in season! I would highly recommend The Italian Place to those who want a clean, quiet, hideaway, that offers a delicious breakfast which is prepared for you a day ahead so you can eat at YOUR convenience instead of eatting between certain times like most bed and breakfast places!

Location was perfect to Fredericksburg and the wineries. We were able to keep our small spoiled dog there so that worked good. If you have problem with stairs, the upper unit may be a problem. Other than that, they had everything we needed and was first class. Bill and Amber were very hospitable and I loved their 2 standard poodles. Stay in paradise.

In the heart of the Texas Hill Country, this place has a lot of charm. The room was comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We were visiting nearby family, so we didn't stay in the room a lot, but it felt like "coming home" when we got there. The breakfast was delivered to the room the night before, which was so convenient! It was very good! We even managed to take a ride on their bikes for a while. We definitely would recommend it to others!

Excellent accommodations. Great value for the price. Conveniently located for exploring all that Texas Hill Country has to offer. Vineyards, historic locations, music to satisfy all tastes, great barbeque, world class gormet food and dining, and unique shopping all within easily traveled distances. Amber and Bill have gone, and will go, to great lengths to make your stay enjoyable.

This is an extremely relaxing and romantic bed and breakfast. The location makes you feel like no one else is around. Incredible hot tub and very romantic fire place. Breakfast is Exquisite.

The Italian Place helped make our first anniversary just perfect! It was the ONLY place where we could book just one night and we are on a tight budget so that was a key element to being able to do this. The food tasted great and was very filling--and we loved that we got to eat it in our room whenever we decided to get up!! Our room was cozy and romantic and they even provided several movie options in case we wanted to watch a movie (romantic choices, action, comedy...there was something for everyone). This had all the sweet touches and thoughtful additions we could ever think of and was still priced very reasonably. My boyfriend and I went to Fredericksburg for his birthday, and I found The Italian Place online. It was very nice. We had our own room away from the house, so it was very private. Instead of being required to have breakfast at a certain time each morning and with a big group, our breakfast was brought to us and placed inside the room refrigerator each night. We were able to heat up the breakfast in the morning and eat whenever we felt like it. The owners were so pleasant and we really enjoyed talking with them. We even got a nice surprise as we left on Sunday...a box full of Fredericksburg peaches fresh picked from the owner's orchard! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit that area.

We traveled from Indiana to see the Hill Country, stayed at The Italian Place for 2 1/2 weeks in Jan. Bellisimo is a beautiful studio apt., very cozy, lovely surroundings. We visited wineries and many small towns in the area. Amber gave us suggestions of places to visit, and we left part of our hearts in Texas! Amber and Bill are friendly hosts who provide everything you need for a relaxing visit. We were treated to a lovely breakfast the morning we departed. We would recommend their beautiful, quiet place as a special get away - hope to return again. Elaine

The Italian Place is one of the nicest bed and breakfast stays we have had. It was cozy, everything was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. If you want a quiet stay, with nice patios and outdoor areas, along with a comfortable atmosphere all around, check out The Italian Place in Stonewall.

This place was only a short drive away. The room (Bella Sera) was beautifully decorated with a warm inviting decor, equipped for romance with a stone fireplace directly in front of the comfy bed and a jacuzzi in the bathroom big enough for two! All of the little touches made all the difference such as the handwritten welcome note, bath robes, refreshments, welcome book full of useful information regarding things to do, the guest books, and finally the goodnight treat (which I will not tell because it is such a LOVELY surprise). The landscaping was just as beautiful as the room. The outdoor porch was so inviting, as well as the outdoor firepit. Lastly, the hosts made this place exceptional. As the motto of the room said: "It's Never Too Late To Live Happily Ever After".

This is a wonderful, inviting haven from the hectic world. We were welcomed with delicious chocolate, and breakfast was ready and waiting at our demand. The design is very homey and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and we had a nice chat around the fire pit in the outside living area. We watched some great movies that were available to view on a large TV. It was very relaxing and we will return!

Close enough to Fredericksburg, but w/o the traffic, & noise. Hosts were quiet & discreet, the most gracious & thoughtful. I loved the idea of breakfast delivered the night before so I didn't have to dress to go eat & come back to shower, dress & go about my day. Better than "a room", you could just step outside & relax in a welcoming courtyard.

My wife and I and our friends traveled from Ft. Worth to Stonewall in October to visit the wineries and the wine and food fest in Fredericksburg. We stayed in both rooms at the Italian Place and they were wonderful. The location was just perfect between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. Amber and Bill were the greatest host. The breakfast was great. We will definitely stay here again and also highly recommend to anyone.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Italian Place. We stayed in Buona Sera, which, simply put, was perfect. Very comfortable, clean, cozy and well decorated. We spent a good amount of time on the patio and enjoyed the friendly company of the property pets. When returning at night, the owners had left a tasty dessert and breakfast for in the morning. They also had the patio all set up for us to enjoy. If you are looking for a place to stay near Fredericksburg, your search can stop here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Buona Sera. The bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was divine. I loved all of the decor and the outside sitting area. The breakfast was a delicious way to start the morning. The fact that there are at least 6 or 7 wineries within a 5 mile radius was a definite bonus! Love, love, love Buona Sera! We took one day to enjoy Fredericksburg so we only got to stay for one night. We absolutely loved the privacy of the room and the little kitchen was an added bonus. The breakfast burrito's were really good. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we already had our plans for the rest of our getaway. Next time, we will be staying longer. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Tucked away outside Fredricksberg, this B&B was perfect. The room was very clean and decorated very tastefully. They welcomed our dog with a treat and a note from their dogs (loved that touch!). Overall we enjoyed our three night stay. The room is behind the owners house so we spoke with them a few times during our stay. The owners bring breakfast each day for the following morning. The food was home made and very good. The last night the owners made fresh cookies an dropped them off for us. Since peaches were in season the owners offered to let us pick peaches from their trees so we had fresh peaches each day. The room was clean and nice overall. They provided pretty much everything that may be needed, from plates and utensils to paper towels and bug spray. They even provided things like an iron, hair dryer and bicycles to ride. There is a nice covered area in back with a table and chairs. The building is nice with a stone structure with lots of wood inside, it's a pleasant place to be in. There were a couple of things we did not like. One thing was that the room overall was pretty small and the bathroom was tiny. I did not get this info from the description. It didn't affect the stay, but I would have liked to know. The bathroom only has a tub, no shower. There is a handheld shower head, but with no tub enclosure there is no way to use it like a shower. The description did state this but I overlooked this tidbit. One thing to remember is that this is in Stonewall, which makes it a bit of a drive to Fredericksburg. Overall I would say this place ranked above average and I would recommend it to others. With what it shows on the website and what I have added you will have a good picture of what you are getting.

This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience, and we absolutely loved it! We brought our dogs with us, and The Italian Place is a perfect place for them. They are very pet friendly, and have a great back area for dogs. It is a very cozy and relaxing place to stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the owners are extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!

The room was wonderful! The bed was very comfortable and everthing was so clean. The only negative thing I could say is that it can be tricky to find, but no big deal, we have a great time!

Bellissimo at the Italian Place is the perfect place in the Texas Hill Country. It is close to all the many activities, wineries, restaurants and shopping in and around Fredericksburg but it is out just enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They provided excellent breakfasts and were informative about the area. Our loft was spotless, comfortable and had all the comforts of home.

Honestly this is one of the most comfortable, private places we have ever stayed! We loved the location.... just a few mintues from town but in the middle of the wineries! We will definately be back and bring some friends!

amber+bill's b+b is the cutest i have ever seen! after staying there i only wished i had planned a longer stay. also, i feel i can do a b+b when i saw all the great ideas they did with food + decorating. keep it up amber + bill!

Bill and Amber and "The Italian Place" were absolutely amazing. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. Although it was not a typical honeymoon spot we had an amazing time. The breakfasts left for us each evening to eat in the morning were awesome. Not just a "continental breakfast." They both made you feel right at home. Well, I've never been to Tuscany, but this looks more-or-less the way it does in the movies. Fantastic! The serenity, the peach grove in bloom and that wonderful porch!

Buona Sera was perfect for the relaxing getaway that we needed. It was cozy, clean, and quiet. The jetted tub was amazing and so relaxing! Breakfast was wonderful & it was a nice surprise to get cookies and a dog biscuit (for our pup) the last night. It was so great that we didn't have to leave our dog behind and that there was even a bed for her! Thanks for a great stay!

Buona Sera is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Perfect for a weekend getaway and extremely convenient to all wine lovers, as the wineries are very close. We only got to meet Amber and she is sweet and hospitable. Our stay was complete with all the amenities and the most wonderful breakfasts. Thank you for a memorable Valentine weekend!

Stayed here to sightsee in area. Found a warm, inviting atmosphere and very accomodating hosts. Great homemade breakfast delivered to your suite. Would return again with no hesitation.

We had an absolutely lovely time at The Italian Place. Fredericksburg and Stonewall are alot of fun to explore. Buona Sera Cottage was beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and the beautiful outdoor patio. We plan to be back in the future.

My husband and I stayed at Buona Sera with our small dog to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was a fabulous experience. The room was immaculate and very charming. Loved the fireplace! The grounds were lovely, I felt like I was truly in an Italian Villa! Loved the sweet frienly animals and the patio and outdoor firepit were very enjoyable. We loved touring the wineries which were just a few miles down 290 and had fun shopping and eating out in Fredericksburg (about 5-10 minutes away). The hosts were the best! We will definitely return!

Amber and Bill really make you feel at home. We stayed in Bellissimo and it was beautiful. With all the little details that were covered, it felt like they know what they are doing. This was our first time staying at a B&B, but it will not be our last and absolutely not our last to stay at The Italian Place. PS. We love the breakfast!

From the minute we pulled into the driveway, we knew we'd made a good choice. It's hard to pick with so many B&B choices, but The Italian Place is a quaint, extremely clean, private B&B. We loved seeing the animals next door as well! The accomodations are very well kept, plenty of space but not huge by any means. We enjoyed being away from the "hustle and bustle" of Fredericksburg and the close proximity to the wineries. Although we didn't use it, they have a great sitting area downstairs with a little fireplace. Bottom line: If you're like us and looking for an extremely clean, well priced place to stay outside of Fredericksburg, you can't go wrong with The Italian Place. Owners clearly take pride in the grounds w/the flowers and decor.

What a wonderful place. Just the perfect location to the wineries and close enough to town without losing the country feel. Great and delicious breakfast and a comfortable room. Perfect for our weekend getaway!

We stayed in Bellissimo and what a wonderful experience it was. Quiet, comfortable,great breakfasts and great hosts. This is a great place to stay as a base location for seeing all that the area has to offer and a great place to hole up in if the rains come pouring down. Comfy,cozy, romantic and a kitchenette too! woohoo! We shall return to The Italian Place.

We were so pleasantly surprised with the Buona Sera cottage! It was absolutely adorable; the jucuzzi tub was great; and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful! Will definitely stay again!

What an amazing surprise The Italian Place was for us when we were participating in the Voices of a Grateful Nation Guiness World Book record breaking event in Luckenbach. A beautiful room with more amenities than expected and special "little touches" that sent it over the top. When there you must sit on the patio and just stare up at the stars at night...ahh the peace and quiet and beautiful Texas sky. Thanks again and we can't wait for an excuse to come back! Me and my husband found the Italian Place when going to spend the weekend at Fredericksburg. I am so glad we found it. It is a beautiful and peaceful place away from all the hustle of town and still close enough to enjoy all the wonderful things to visit. We hope to return there at least once a year. Bill and Amber are special people and treat us like old friends. We love it!!

The Italian Place offers a cozy and relaxing environment just perfect for a weekend away; especially if it's your first anniversary. It's only about 15 minutes from one of the cutest towns in Texas....Fredericksburg. The Italian Place is absolutely perfect! Definately on my top B&B list.

As both of us hail from way out in South Texas, we were so happy to return to such a spectacular country cottage! Our stay at the Bellissimo Loft at The Italian Place was absolutely perfect for celebrating our 34th anniversary! Amber & Bill were the perfect hosts, providing service above & beyond, but at the same time respecting our privacy. Delicious breakfasts are delivered the evening before so that you may enjoy them on your schedule. The room was beautiful & very comfortable, and the star-gazing at night is awesome! The inn location is great for visiting Fredericksburg, wineries & state parks. We'll be back!

The Italian Place was exactly what we had hope for, drawing us into a simpler, quieter life. How we enjoyed the scrumptious breakfasts on the cozy back porch complete with an affectionate accent cat to greet us each morning. We appreciated the bicycles they provided which took us on a relaxing ride along the Pedernales River. We soaked in the fantastic views of the river and local wildlife and revisited the rich history of the LBJ ranch. It was definately a time to cherish.

Buona Sera is beautiful, the food delicious, and the hospitality friendly and inviting. Thanks so much....it was just what we needed. Hope we can come back soon! DM

we enjoyed our stay at Buona Sera. The breakfast was delicious and the place was very comfortable. Itis located near some vineyards, Wildseed farms and Luckenbach. Fredericksburg is a short drive away. We highly recommend this B & B!

We had a great time in Fredericksburg and it was nice "coming home" to the Italian Place for a quick quiet break or to turn in for the night. It was sooo nice. Bill and Amber were so nice and welcoming. We will be back.

We have stayed at several B & B's. This is one of our favorite! Bill & Amber were great hosts. The room was beautifully decorated. We loved the idea that pets are welcomed. You don't find that very often. I'd recommend The Italian Place if this was your first experience at a Bed & Breakfast or you've been to them before - this is they way you should be treated! We will be back!

If you are coming for the wineries, this is the place to stay. We had to attend a wedding at GrapeCreek and The Italian Place was only 3 minutes away. The hospitality was great and the food was amazing. Our dog even enjoyed himself!

My husband and I spent a long weekend at The Italian Place for our anniversary. We had a lovely time. Bill and Amber were warm and welcoming. They have a beautiful place that is dog friendly. We didn't travel with our dog this time but when we go back we will definately be bringing our pup. The place was quiet and very relaxing. Stonewall is about 15 minutes from Fredericksburg and we were thankful to be away from the town on the busy Memorial Day weekend we spent in the area. The location allowed us to visit some of the wineries, shopping and LBJ State Park that we may have misssed being in town. Bill and Amber were very helpful offering us suggestions on where to go and what to do. I would highly recommend this B&B.

The Italian Place is wonderful, very peaceful and tranquil. Bellissimo was very clean and homey. The maintenance of the lawn and landscape is beautiful and very well kept.

I had a great time at The Italian Place! The room was very clean and had new furnishings. I am a vegetarian and they had no problem making food for me. They also allow pets, which was very nice. The location is also great because you are less than 5 minutes from the wineries and the Wildseed Farm. The price for staying here is really good for the amentities!

We loved Buona Sera- it was the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend. As a citydweller, I loved being able to stargaze from their patio, and we also enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, with lots of helpful touches (from materials on what to do in Fredericksburg to items you may have forgotten, like bug spray). The innkeepers were very helpful with directions and recommendations. The breakfast and snacks were amazing, I hope they will share their recipes. :)

My husband and I came for a weekday retreet from Chesapeake, VA hoping to have a relaxing, "kid-less", responsibility-free time and we have been extremely pleased with our stay. Buona Sera is clean and peaceful with excellent breakfast. The patio setting is quaint and great for a "night in". We went to the wineries close by. The shopping isn't far away and the dining is wonderful. Much to our surprise, we were right next door to LBJ State Park where we had a picnic and walked around. Amber was extremely pleasant and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved this place very much! We will return! They have inspired me to create my own Bed and Breakfast!

We stayed at the Italian Place for a weekend of wine tasting but needed a pet friendly B&B. We were pleasantly surprised to find pillows w/little doggie biscuits for the girls upon entering our cottage. Another surprise was the small kitchen area and attention to detail. (I had never stayed at a B&B with my own kitchenette). Bill and Amber were very friendly and make you feel right at home. I love it here and will be back for another relaxing stay.

The Italian Place was everything advertised and more! We came to the area for my girlfriend's birthday and she was completely impressed. Great location, food, and the best hosts!!

My wife and I stayed at the inn for a romantic getaway. The rooms are lovely, there is a lovely outside sitting area (including a sweet cat), the people are really sweet, the breakfast great, and the location perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bellissimo Loft. Hosts Bill and Amber were hospitable and thoughtful. We will definately come back and refer this place to our friends and family.

My wife and I wanted a quiet time away from it all. The Buona Sera hit the spot. The room is cozy and has all that you need for a relaxing time. We shopped all day in Fredericksburg and then came back to the room for a super quiet evening. The central heat and air came in handy. The temperature outside on this weekend ranged from the high 80's to the low 40's! We stayed perfectly comfortable the entire time. Good job Amber and Bill!

The Buena Sera was a terrific B&B! For a weekend getaway it was perfect to get away from city life and enjoy the coziness of the country cottage.

The Italian Place is wonderful. It is a quiet- country-style setting with great accommodations. "Bellisimo" is the loft on this property where we stayed. Absolutely fantastic, romantic, and private. This is a must stay and see just outside of Fredericksburg, TX.

The room was beautiful and cozy. The personal touches such as warm cookies was wonderful. Nice jacuzzi and fireplace. Breakfast was GREAT!! We really enjoyed our stay. It's just right down the road from several of the wineries too!

Bill and Amber were fantastic. The B&B is adorable. We had a problem with Absolute Charm, the site where the B&B was booked, but Amber and Bill were great and even gave us a key at 3 am!! Breakfast was amazing. Would stay there again when in Fredricksburg.

This was a weekend getaway for my wife and I. Bill and Amber made it absolutely amazing. The breakfasts were great (Tacos w/salsa were AMAZING). They left us homemade cookies and even invited us into their home. They went over and above to make our stay the best. The room/suite was extremely clean and smelled great. The fireplace was ready with new wood (cedar) both nights. The patio was very nice. The room was more spacious than it appeared in the pictures. It was pretty easy to find and out away from downtown Fredricksburg. It was relaxing and close enough to Fredricksburg that we could enjoy the food and shopping. We WILL be back. The hospitality goes over and above any other place we have stayed including the Ritz Carlton. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

My fiance and I stayed in Buona Sera last Spring and had an absolutely inchanting stay! The bed and breakfast is tucked away in the beautiful Hill Country and is just the perfect place to stay for a cozy getaway. The hospitality is top notch and very informative. The room is perfect for any theme, whether it be romantic or to just escape reality!
