Inn on the Riverwalk

My husband and I got married here two weeks ago. I found the Inn when I was looking for affordable all inclusive wedding destinations. I could not believe the price for an all inclusive wedding! It was so affordable! Tina, the wedding coordinator, was amazing. She was always cheerful and accommodating. I know they do weddings every weekend but she made it so perfect. It was completely stress free. The entire staff at the Inn were wonderful on the wedding day. We stayed on the top floor. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. I expected the floor to creak or to hear other guests but it was sooooo quiet. The room had two private balconies. It was the perfect place to sit and unwind at the end of the day. We stayed two days here and then went to the Crockett Hotel, it was awful! We really wished we had stayed our last day at the Inn. A huge thanks to the entire staff at the Inn. We are hoping to be back for our anniversary trip next year! Kristen (Silvers) Garrett

For a recent 4 night girl's getaway, we picked this inn for the location, rate & pictures. Pictures well staged or from a previous owner. Arrived in the evening, pre arranged with staff. No porch lights on for our arrival; made reading the intro letter & code for key pad difficult! Room 13 is very tired. Twin bed had no sleeping pillow or blanket. Worst part was pulling back the cover to find that the bed had been used by a previous guest. Slept that night wrapped in the only blanket we could find in dusty armoire. The queen bed had no blanket; found one in an open guest room. Queen had a plastic cover on the mattress under the thin sheet; uncomfortable & noisy. Removed the next day by request plus got a new blanket. There were no drawers, so no unpacking; requested luggage racks & got one; second arrived next day. Armoire had 3 plastic hangers. Windows did not open; paint peeling & chipped on bath & bedroom walls/woodwork. Interior appearance of the inn is the same. Deferred maintenance is a huge issue at this inn. Tiny bath wouldn’t be an issue if clean & sparkly. Mold on the floor in front of shower was disgusting. Shower a joke; faucet was laden with calcium; no fan for moisture. Bath door closed/opened with a yank. Big bottles of cheap shampoo & conditioner. No robes or make up mirror. By the twin, only light in the space was on the fan with a pull cord; I had to stand on my toes to reach it. Fan dirty & creaky. Dining room: No table cloths & not set; silver & napkin rolled up on the counter. No decor first day; last 3 days tired paper flowers for fiesta. Pre made: eggs in a warming tray which staff microwaved with cheese after selection of side dish; French toast, pancakes set out for help yourself service. Coffee was awful (we’re from the west); powdered creamer. Never saw the owners, only staff during day. Unusual refund policy. Couldn’t afford to lose pre payment, so we stayed. The location is ideal & staff friendly.

The Inn was recommended by a co-worker that stays every time she travels to San Antonio. Our experience was wonderful. The room was nice and homey, breakfast was good and short walk to the main portion of the river walk. Free parking. When we arrived I had apparently not booked right online for their gas saver promotion, but was told that if I check back in the next morning a manager would be able to credit me. We stopped in the next morning and as we were told the manager credited the gas saver promotion for me to my card. I am looking forward to going back again as it's been since 2011 when we were there. I recommend the Inn to everyone that I know is planning a trip to San Antonio. Will be going back this summer hopefully

Dear Inn Staff, We so much appreciate all the hard work you do to keep this place beautiful, there must be so much to do on such an old building. But your location is PERFECT - just a couple mins walk to everything, and on the most calm and beautiful part on the Riverwalk to stay. The family and I had a wonderful visit resulting in a perfect vacation. The food at the breakfast was lovely and we were so pleased with the service and kindness of all the staff. We already planned to come back next year. Thank you.

We decided to have a “girls weekend” in San Antonio at the spur of the moment. This location was ideal. We walk everywhere this weekend. Its also tucked back in a quiet secluded part of downtown. We definitely want to come back…. This time with our significant others ;-)!

Love the location - we have stayed here several times over the years and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. We call it our Home Away From Home whenever we want to get away for a few days for a romantic weekend. It's a great location downtown with easy walking distance to EVERYTHING! ....breakfast was yummy too!"

The rooms are way smaller than they appear on the site. Just a room with a bed small tv and bathroom. Great size tub! It was cozy but not worth the five hundred dollars spent for two nights. Easy access to the river walk night life. But for the amount of money spent we could of gotten something better right in the heart of the entertainment.

We stayed in Cottage 22. It was right on the Riverwalk. We just walked out of the cottage and down the steps, about 10 minutes to the heart of the Riverwalk. You can also hail a water taxi as well. The room was clean, had coffee pot and fridge, hair dryer and plenty of room for belongings. We were able to sit out in the shared wrap around porch and enjoy the morning. We didn't eat at the inn, except to grab some coffee. That's just because there are so many great places to eat, we already had our meals planned out. The staff was very helpful, too. We loved our stay, and hope to stay there again soon.

This is an old Victorian home and is truly Victorian and a little run down. The beds were the best part of our stay. The bathroom was not up to my standards for clean. Breakfast was O.K. but nothing to brag about. T.V. was very small and not many channels but at least it did have one! we were on the River but you a several blocks from the action. In my opinion way over priced for what you get.

This older B&B is directly on the river, a twenty minute walk from the busy area... and yet quiet, clean, and well run. The rooms are not large but not small either, many with a porch with small table and 2-4 chairs, a good place for snacks and drinks. The breakfast is delicious, offered on time, and friendly folks serve you. We will certainly return to the Inn on the Riverwalk!

We stayed for a week-end at this charming B&B, the location is excellent, just a short walk to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. We stayed in the Traditional 11, although the room was old it was clean and comfortable. The staff and very nice and our breakfasts were excellent. We used groupon and had no issues in doing so. We would definitely visit again.

We went on a groupon special. The staff were great. Loved the room and the view.

I cannot recommend staying here. Our bed wasn’t conducive to sleeping or anything else. It was a 30year old mattress with a 2inch foam topper. The pillows were basically the pillow case. We stayed one of our three nights. When my wife and I woke up in the morning, not very well rested, neither of us wanted to stay. We didn’t even want to take a shower we just left. Light switches and or lights didn’t work. Coffee pot didn’t work, noticed it wasn’t plugged in, plugged it in and it still didn’t work. Found the collection of extension cords on the ground, unplugged the lamp, plugged in the coffee pot and it finally worked. (Not what I paid for). The bathroom had an oversized tub that required a step stool to get in. The grout around the tub was all cracked and peeling away, it appeared clean, but wasn’t inviting at all. All In all the property wasn’t in good shape. I asked for a refund and was told a manager would call me, that did not happen. I am very disappointed with the overall experience and if the y are hell bent on keeping my money I would only ask that they buy a mattress and some pillows.

We stayed last weekend at a great low price for our Traditional Room 14. I was very disappointed in the presentation and quality of our room ( tiny, rickety wicker table with a bizarre lamp on one side of the bed, thin bed cover and sheets, an armless fabric office chair on wheels at the wood desk and our remote control to the old TV didn't work.) We told the front desk about it the next day, but it STILL did not work the second night In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was broken and sitting on the commode back. This was fixed on Saturday without our saying anything. There were cigarette burn marks on the sink and of the two bath towels, one was not a bath towel, but a harder style, like a bath mat. The window air conditioner was dusty and dirty. The breakfast food was very basic with cold french toast or pancakes on the buffet and no indication of how to eat it hot. I asked the pleasant serving woman to re-heat it in the microwave and she was happy to do it. There were coffee grounds in my cup. But, we did really appreciate the Christian music playing, the to-go cups for coffee, and the all-access to this area for water and seating. We especially enjoyed the patio off this area since we didn't have one for our room. I was so surprised they had NO seating area like a living or family room for guests. Other pluses were the location within walking distance to downtown and other areas for shopping and eating. The Riverwalk outside the home is well kept and beautiful; the views depend on your room. The area felt safe enough despite occasional homeless people. The front desk woman was nice and helpful and surprised us with breakfast in bed since it was our anniversary. The Inn itself was probably the saddest thing. This beautiful old home is falling apart.

It was our 10th wedding anniversary and this was our first time at a B&B The staff was fantastic and very helpful with navigating through San Antonio for us being 1st timers. The house had a certain charm about it and our room was excellent. We were within walking distance of everything. When we go back for another visit, there are no doubts of where we will be staying again.

My husband and I spent a weekend here for a little getaway, and it is a very cute place within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops on the river walk, or the King Williams district walking the other way. Breakfast was excellent, and service great.

We stayed in 2 rooms at the cottage. Great Location to enjoy San Antonio! Clean and a good value.

I brought my girlfriend here for a birthday surprise and my expectations were exceeded!! The owner of the Inn provided a beautiful flower arrangement for my girlfriend and she was totally blown away by the kind note and flowers. The room was great and the breakfast was super yummy! We received a call on our way nto say they closed the office at 5pm, but our key would be in an envelope out front on the mail box. I was scared we would not have something we needed and no one to provide it. As it was we were fine. They had weddings both nights we stayed, which was not a problem the first night as we went out, but the second night they had the reception outside our room and we were trying to have a quiet romantic night on the porch. They shut them down at 9:30pm, so it was not a complete failure. We even danced to a song. The food was good, though not great. Also, going through this website did not allow me to order breakfast in bed, which is an option for $20 more. The location could not have been better!!! and the main house river side porch is worth the money.

We had a girls get away a the perfect place. We booked the cottage acroos the street stayed on the wrap around porch to catch up. Had an home cooked breakfast everyday. The staff was so helpful with planning our 4 day adventure. Even help us with packed lunches for our trip to the lake. While we stayed there we got a chance to see one of the Weddings. TRuly breath taking. You get all you need in this one bed and breakfast. Look no where else this is the place.... I am now planning a christmas trip back with my family.

We had a wonderful youth group retreat at the INN on the River walk in San Antonio!! First of all the reservation was so easy to make via email and the FREE Parking, Wi-Fi and Full breakfast won our group over right away. The front desk staff greeted us with a big smile and told us about all the attractions in the area as well as providing us with marked city maps!! We arrived early so we parked and started our sightseeing right away. The Inn called when our rooms were ready and waiting for us just a few hrs later!! Our group was on a budget so we really enjoyed hosting a pizza party on the back patio of the INN with a perfect view of the river & hemisphere park tower. The rooms were comfortable and the decor was very cozy. Our group felt right at home and secure. We got a good nights rest and started our day off with a full breakfast (fruit, french toast, eggs, bean taquitos, cereal...juice coffee..great service) then packed up to finish our visit to the Alamo city. The Inn allows guests to check out at 11 am but keep vehicles parked in their lot until 2pm for extra time to sight see.-that saves between $7-12 in parking elsewhere near attractions. The Inn also offers special discount on area attractions as well so be sure to ask about those as well!! Over all we rate the in a 10 on a scale of 1-10!! We enjoyed our stay and loved the breakfasts. Best eggs I can remember and a good variety of breakfast choices in addition to the hot plate. The porch was great with a nice view of the Tower of the Americas and the River Walk. Very close to all the action on the River Walk. Comfy bed and pillows. We would stay there every time we are in San Antonio.

My husband & I stayed at the Inn on the Riverwalk 05/25-05/28 in cottage # 23 (with the murphy bed). It was out first time to stay at a B&B and it was a little dissapointing. The attention to detail was lacking. The light globe over the bathroom sink was broken and one light bulb was out, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling at rolling at all of the seams, the murphy bed has lights in the top (which I never figured out how to turn on) and had two differnt type light bulbs ( one was a night light style & the other was a regualr bulb), The artwork in our room was very cheap with frames that could not have cost more than a few dollars from Wal-Mart. The bedding was old and nappy-had a rough texture from being laundered so much and was in need of replacement and finally the A/C unit did not work properly. It would not cycle on and off so you were either freezing cold or hot and had to keep adjusting it manually to get it to shut off or turn on. There was a hand written note on the A/C unit stating the unit was old....Housekeeping did come in the first morning but we didn't see them again on the following two days. We had two packets of coffee for the entire weekend. W also never saw the owners or Inkeeper's. There were two weddings during our stay amd we never saw them for those events either. The breakfst was good although, we only had breakfast on the first day. The outside of the homes needed a lot of attention as well. Little things like the ceiling fans on the porches were full of insects and dirt in the globes and could really see it when the lights were turned on. There was a lot of peeling paint and broken path lights in the flower beds. Again, it was very dissapointing as this was a gettaway we really looked forward to.

My husband and I wanted a cozy place to stay in San Antonio for our Honeymoon. We were very pleased with the Inn on the Riverwalk. It was quiet, and did not have all the noise like you might find at other locations on the Riverwalk. The breakfast (and staff) were Awesome! We are seriously thinking about returning for our 1st year Anniversary. Mr. & Mrs. Robinson

The Inn on the Riverwalk is one of the best kept secrets in San Antonio. The staff is GREAT. The breakfast is wonderful. Short walking distance to all you need. Don't miss this if you plan to come to San Antonio. Beats the heck out of noisy, stuffy hotels.

My fiancee and I hadn't been to San Antonio before. This was a wonderful find!! Very quiet and close to everything. The room was perfect and the staff very polite and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend!! Chad & Lisa

We stayed at this B&B over 8 yrs ago and it was clean and convenient. In the years past it seems our room we stayed in has been let go- The bathroom was filthy- not just dirt but mold around baseboards and the wallpaper was yellowed, stained, and peeling off the walls. The wooden floors had dirt and grit residue- The in room fridge wasn't working well so I check the plugs- only to find what looked like an extreme fire hazard- there were extension cords running all ove the room with duct tape on them and more than three items plugged in and run all over. It did not look like it would pass an inspection.

We stayed here the weekend before Valentine's. It was a great get away. The house itself could use some TLC but we were very comfortable and the staff made us feel right at home!!

Margaret and Tina definately went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and recent engagement. The breakfast was delicious and we certainly enjoyed the great view. The garden room was certainly unique and we had a great time on our weekend getaway. Emily and Dustin Austin, TX

The Inn on the Riverwalk was a great place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The location is on the river but, not the crowded area. It was a nice walk to the restaurants and night life of the river walk. The receptions recommended a great restaurant in the King William district, Rosarios. The food was exceptional as was their prices. The inn is an old house, the bathrooms are small but, more than adequate. The patio was nice and would be a great place to sit, relax and enjoy the view in the spring or fall.

this was where we spent our first night together when my husband came home on RR from Afghanistan. It was more than i expected. The staff are so accommodating and will to service. Our place was quiet and away from noisy downtown. our porch viewed the Riverwalk and so we took a stroll one morning to King William district. The roses in the room were so beautiful that i took them with me everywhere! Breakfast was delicious and i was sad when we had to check out. We didn't get to honeymoon after the wedding so this definitely made up for that. i would stay there again and highly recommend that you do too!

The Inn was very warm and casual; certainly not fancy. The accomodations were comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Location is very close to the major Riverwalk activity scene, but still in a quiet area itself.

Our Reunion was a group of older Ladies.....internet Friends who try to get together every other year. Nine states represented...even Alaska. After a year of planning, we got together for a wonderful weekend. The Inn bent over backwards to make sure we had Memories of a Liftetime! Every member of the staff did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and happy....no request was to great. No matter what your occasion, you have to stay at the Inn on the Riverwalk!

We could not have asked for a better place to get married than the Inn on the River Walk! Perfect is not a word we use often but it applies here. Everything was top notch, including Tina and Erin, our coordinators. It truly was the best day of our lives due to the amazing service, great views, cute house and proximity to the riverwalk. We felt really taken care of. We would recommend The Inn On The River Walk to anyone as a place to get married or even just for a vacation. We will be back!

Location is awesome, especially for the price. The breakfast was nothing special--I had expected from my stays at other B&Bs that it would be more gourmet. This was not. There wasn't a stove in the kitchen if that tells you anything about the breakfast quality. (Eggs seemed like they were the type from the large restaurant container where they just microwave them.) Also breakfast was essentially the same both days on the weekend. Also, the first I'd seen in a B&B was a tip jar to tip the woman who put your food on a plate. (I guess she cooked too.) To be fair, she was not the owner, so perhaps she's not paid well, but for the quality of the breakfast, and that we didn't get it served in our room, I felt like the amount we were paying was already quite adequate without the staff asking for additional tips just for putting food on our plate. (We bussed our own table both days.) This place was not at all homey. Unlike other B&Bs, we didn't meet the owners nor did they appear particularly involved. (To be fair, I think the woman who owned it was there briefly on Saturday--to tend to a couple of newlyweds--I guess my husband, friend, and I wern't spending enough money there to have either of the owners stop by and say hi.) The management, check in, cooking, etc. was done by other people. It wasn't the nice, sit-down-for-breakfast-and-get-to-know-people type of place. Check-out was the girl at the desk throwing our keys into a bowl on the desk. She didn't even say thank you. I thought our bed was clean, although my friend who had 2 other beds to choose from in the room, said that it appeared that the sheets on both beds hadn't been changed--she found hairs all over the sheets.

My husband and I stayed a night in June and we got the $99 special. We got the third floor room with Jacuzzi. It was lovely and the view was awesome and it's great to relax on the porch with coffee int he morning. So convenient for a lovely morning walk.We only wish we had more time to stay in San Antonio. Well maybe next year we will.

We loved staying here. The room was nice, big and clean. Porch access on the river was great. They even let me use the gas saver promotion even though I didn't book it right on the website. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at the Inn. Even though it was "triple digit" temperatures outside, we have a lovely shaded, and cold room for sleeping! Loved our breakfast and the polite, helpful staff. Thanks, Scott and Johanna! Steve and Gena Hanner, Lufkin, Texas

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. The employees were very nice and accomodating. The room was small but nice and clean and located right on the Riverwalk. Our only complaint was that it advertised a balcony which turned out to be just a small porch. We had looked forward to Fiesta, but it turned out not to be our thing. Nobody's fault. We're looking forward to coming here again, maybe upgrading to the honeymoon suite next time.

We stayed in cottage 23. Check-in was smooth. Room was clean. Located directly on the Riverwalk, but 8-10 min walk to the heart of the walk where the shops and restaurants are. Room and bathroom could have used some basic improvements. Paint was chipping in several places. Plug in plates were protruding from the wall. Wallpaper in the bathroom had water stains and was peeling. Bathroom had a wire shelf, but it was difficult to stand toiletries on it. A small table by the sink would have done wonders. Tub was clogged. We reported it. However it was not fixed by the time we left. Another trash can in the room would have been great. For what we paid, I would expected the condition of the room to be better. On a positive note, the room was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels. Room was spacious. We did not hear our neighbors. Porch area was very nice for sitting. Erin at the front desk was the best concierge I have ever had. She knew the city like the back of hear hand. She recommended multiple great restaurants and pointed out wonderful tourist spots. Her attitude was upbeat, warm and friendly. Breakfast was just average. It was worth eating, but nothing special.

Our first trip to the city and this was an excellent place to begin. The service was awesome, and the room was beautiful and very handy to all of the important sites of the city.

We had never been to San Antonio so had no idea where to stay or what to do. Boy, did we book the right place! The innkeepers were wonderful...everyday we appeared at the office with our maps with us and said "Help." And they did! The setting was perfect too...so quiet and peaceful. So thankful we stayed here!

This was our second stay here, the first one being about three years ago. Although I am used to the comforts from chain hotels from my frequent business travels, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The owners and staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating and make you feel like part of their family. The rooms are quaint, clean and comfortable. They have air conditioning and ceiling fans, which is nice for those warmer days. The breakfast is made for you when you are ready and was always hot and delicious. The locations was good and easy to get to. We walked a few minutes along the river to get to the popular part of the Riverwalk and never felt unsafe. A few minutes walk in the other direction took us to nice residential areas. Mornings and Evenings on the porch were always a must for us. It is a lot more homey than staying in hotels.

Very close to downtown, right on the river, quiet, staff friendly and an excellent big breakfast.

Overall the Inn on the Riverwalk was a great choice. It was very convienently located in so far as walking distance to the Riverwalk, and other places of interest in San Antonio. The staff was super nice and totally helpful. The cook for breakfast was just a delight, she took pride in her job and breakfast both days was outstanding. The only real nitpick I would have is the size of the bathroom in their standard room is very small, you are very hemmed in. The solution to that would be to stay in one of their rooms that have a full size bathtub. Our next stay there, we'll be following our own advice and stay in one of those rooms.

Our cottage #23 could have used some new wallpaper in the bath and some fresh paint. Dan served up a great breakfast, love his flapjacks. Staff at the desk was impersonal and cold.

Although all the San Antonio fountains were frozen due to the cold, we loved the Inn. The location was great and our upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite so lovely, with jacuzzi, balconies and sitting room. Breakfasts in the dining room with chef, Ken, were terrific and their idea of a van tour of the missions was perfect for us.

My boyfriend and I went to Inn on the Riverwalk for our anniversary for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly and nice. We enjoyed the location, free parking, wifi, the view, the breakfast,; However the bathroom (shower only, no tub) was very small, 0nly 1 of us could fit and bathroom floor was ripped and partially black (mold?). The building was beautiful, the room was good size, but interior was a bit old style. On the top of that, on the first night we found the roach on the stairway, we stayed at 2nd floor but on the next day, when we went down for the breakfast, the roach was still there. We went out all day, and came back that night, again the roach was there, that made us to think the staff does not clean the facility very well. It was gross and I was scared if it came into our room. On the next morning, the roach was there again, I am glad I didn't walk around the room with bare feet. Overall, this place was ok, we felt they over charged for that quality of the room.

We just spent 4 days at the Inn and it was fabulous! So homey! Very clean, quaint, and the breakfasts are to die for. I can't wait to stay there again. Thanks Johanna, Margaret and Maria, for making our stay so warm and comfortable.

We stayed at this B & B 4 days. We were given a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon suite which spacious and very clean. The staff are friendly and fun. We can't wait to return. Oh and KEN the breakfast cook makes the best darn flapjacks! Along with celebrating our anniversary we were planning on golfing, however, the weather didn't cooperate at all. BRRRRRRRRRRRRR. We loved walking along The Riverwalk.

The place has no correspondence between price and quality at all. The rooms are not designed with efficiency. The bathroom is small and uncomfortable. Placed too many unnecessary items in the room. The light is poor. The most terrible thing is breakfast time, as oil and saturated reused using pervades the entire hotel and is impregnated in the clothing and hair.

I could have never asked for a better wedding location and venue than the Inn on the Riverwalk. It WOW'ed my entire family. Everything turned out beautiful..no gorgeous. It is a night I will remember for the rest of my life. We promise to come visit on every anniversary to thank our new best friend Tina. Thank you girlie, you are a miracle worker! Ismael & Valerie

The Staff at the inn made me feel at home and welcoming, everything was perfect.

My husband and I had looked at several options in downtown San Antonio when he found the Inn on the Riverwalk. We had a fabulous time there. It is so convenient to everything downtown. We could walk anywhere we wanted to go. It's a beautiful place in a quiet area. The staff is friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast. I hated to leave and look forward to returning.

I was lookingfor a place to celebrate our wedding anniversary when I discovered the Inn on the Rivverwalk. We had stayed in a B&B for the first time in Hershey PA. Since that was such an enjoyable experience I was hoping to find a lovely B&B in San Antonio. What I found was a haven of beauty and tranquility on a quite part of the Riverwalk. The staff was helpful and very anxious to please us. Reservations to area restaurants and transportation arrangements made our stay very relaxing. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. A delicious breakfast was prepared and served by a very friendly and effecient staff. We will definitley stay at the Inn on future visits to San Antonio.

to find the "perfect" place for our reunion. As this was my very first time at a B & B, I wasn't sure what to expect. They were friendly, informative and happy to help me with anything I asked. This Inn is absolutely charming and the staff goes above and beyond. I knew the minute I stepped into my room that this was the place we would meet. Our reunion is in 2011 at the Inn of the Riverwalk. I recommend you check this jewel out....

This was the first time to stay at the In on the Riverwalk, have to say was the best vacation we have had. The room was beautiful with a patio overlooking the river, great place for coffee in the morning. The staff was excellent, helpful in every way making diner reservations for us and giving geat advise on where to eat. It was also enjoyable to have a hot breakfest made by the chef every morning. Perfect location on the riverwalk walking distance from any where you would want to go. While there we got a chance to see johanna perform a beautiful wedding ceremony on the river. We will be back in march for a family friends wedding, know it will be amazing, cant wait.

Although we did not stay at the Inn because we live in town we had our wedding there November 28,2008. Johanna was great as well as all of the other staff we came in contact with. We picked Inn on the Riverwalk because we loved the location and that we could get everything we needed there. We spent months looking for the perfect place and person to officiate and when I toured Inn on the Riverwalk and met with Johanna I knew it was the place. I loved that Johanna was able to work with me being out of town (in the military) and with short notice too. I have since had two friends plan their weddings there and both were very pleased as well. I will continue to recommend Inn on the Riverwalk to brides to be as well as travelers visiting the riverwalk.

I stayed in cottage spa room 21, and was very pleased when we first entered the room. After looking a bit further into the room i found that some of the furniture in the room was in poor repair. The wardrobe was difficult to open and close. The spa tub was in need of major attention, it looked as if it had been installed by a complete amatuer. The rim around the tub wasn't sealed and if water got above a certain level it would spill out and go inbetween the tub and the tile surrounding it and get trapped between. This is ultimately going to lead into water damage and a rotten wood floor. I was very pleased with the breakfast and the service that the staff provided to us. The massages in room were also very nice. I would probably stay again, but may look into a different room.

My daughter was married at the Inn a couple of weeks ago. Everything was absolutely perfect. Tina, the wedding planner, now my good friend made it all seem effortless. It was their "dream wedding" and we would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone who made it such a spectacular day!!!

We checked in on Friday Morning and left on Sunday. We rented the penthouse suite. The room was clean and cool. We had all the amenities of a regular hotel and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was made fresh both mornings with coffee and juice; all were excellent! Friendly staff, it really felt like home. Wedding party commented their stay also felt like home. Wedding Planner Tina Gonzales was excellent really catered to us. Johanna officiated the ceremony did an excellent job! We were a group of 5 friends from 2 cities that met at the Inn on the Riverwalk. We planned to have just a relaxing stay and I had a spa for the girls. Cabin 12 I believe was perfect for our spa with the extra bed and couch. This was our first stay and didn't know what to expect. It was GREAT! The location was perfect and all the sights were within walking distance. (And we are a young senior group.) The best part was you Johanna, Tina and Chris, oh and of course Buddy. You all made our stay so wonderful. The service and food was beyond our expectations. We feel we left having made new friends. We plan to return next year sometime. This is a wonderful B&B to stay at away from the craziness of a hotel. The rooms are beautiful and inviting and the staff are so "Texas" friendly. The fresh breakfast prepared by a wonderful chef are served to you personally. I wish I could stay there once a month at least. It is a wonderful break from a busy homelife.

My sister lives in Illinois and I live in San Diego so we decided to meet in San Antonio as we have never been there before. I must say that the staff at the Inn on the Riverwalk certainly went above and beyond when it came to taking care of our needs. They got my boarding pass on their computer for me, thanks Tina and Chris made the best breakfasts each morning, that his passion, and Lydia the housekeeper was very sweet working around all the stuff we had in the room to make our beds each morning. And Johanna was so sweet to basically let us do whatever we needed, like go in the refrigerator for ice or get coffee whenever we wanted, a great team of youngones there. The location was great they back up to the riverwalk and it was so quiet there but you are only minutes away from all the action of the city. We will definately be back again. We really enjoyed the bed & breakfast, especially the location. It was a beautiful walk along the Riverwalk to all the shops, dining, music, etc. The only concern we had was the tiny bathroom and tiny shower with the immovable shower head. Everything else—the room, the breakfasts, the hostess and especially the location were great.

After staying in another San Antonio B & B for years and then having it close, we were afraid we would never find another home away from home. Tena was so great to be around and the rest of the staff also made us feel right at home. Chris was super on the weekends. Things were peaceful and the down home feeling was wonderful.

Tucked away on a quite street, within 15 minutes to everything. Friendly, customer focused service with a smile. Comfortable room, felt like home.

My wife and I rented the penthouse suite and we were stunned. The views from the two balconies were amazing. Tina the innkeeper was excellent, she went above and beyond what anyone at a hotel would do. The food was good, chris is the best chef and the most friendliest. We came across the Inn on the Riverwalk while planning our Wedding. I could not have asked for a more spectacular venue to celebrate one of the most important days of my life. Tina Gonzales exceeded our expectations and made our special day absolutely amazing! Services before, during and after our wedding were first rate. The complete team at the Inn made not only us, but our guests feel at home. We felt like we were the only wedding in the world!! Every detail from the grounds, food, decor and so much more was attended to. There are not enough "thanks" in the world to show our appreciation!

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for our 15th anniversary. It is a charming building at the quiet end of the riverwalk. The room was shabby chic but the bed was comfortable and on the balcony we had a gorgeous view of the downtown area/riverwalk. We had a wonderful dinner and returned to the room to go to bed. At first there was some noise from a neighbors tv, but they turned it off by 10pm and we fell deep asleep. Around 11pm we were awoken by this horrible noise on the stairs. We then were kept up until 2am by the people above us walking back and forth. The next morning we were woke up by breakfast being set up below. The walls and floors are way too thin and voices and any noise just carries right through them. When we packed to leave you could hear entire breakfast conversations and all the noise of the dining room so a nap before we left was impossible as well. Overall I would have to say we were extremely dissapointed and felt like for the money we should have stayed somewhere else.

My husband and I were in SA for a conference. We opted to stay here rather than near the convention site. I'm happy that we did. The convention center is about 3/4 of a mile away so you'll need to be "up" for the walk. However, we enjoyed the walk along the riverwalk each time we made it. The daily breakfasts were very good, and our penthouse room was a "home away from home" for us. We hope to get back to SA soon. The Inn on the Riverwalk will be our choice again!

We had our wedding there as a last minute thing. Service was amazing, very affordable, beautiful location, great staff, lovely room! Will go back and stay again!

We stayed for a weekend and the Innkeeper was making us feel welcome and made everything smooth and easy.

It is 1 month shy of 5 years ago in which my brother and sister surprised me with a wedding gift to stay in the penthouse my first night married as a husband. Frankly I know little of the service their because my family made all the arrangements for my wife and my stay. We checked in and and went up stairs and was amazed by the room. It was so romantic, quiet from the busy river walk. The view was amazing and the little time we spent outside was an easy walk to the commercial river walk. The room with a jacuzzi was such a dream we didn't want to leave. We partied so much that night on the river walk we totally skipped breakfast. I am making a reservation as we speak for the room for my 5th wedding anniversary and hope this time we experience the whole package of a bed and breakfast. Regardless of eating breakfast here this place creates memories.

This property has a great location and easy parking. Its very simple and not the 'historic' bed and breakfast that is often found. Has a great view of the skyline if you get a room with a balcony on the east side...great to relax have a beer or sip on some wine. The beds were soft and sheets were comfortable. It was however a bit run down and could use a refresher as some exterior wood was rotten and gave it a shaby appeal. The beds were soft and sheets were comfortable. Over all, did not seem to be really clean, but managable. Breakfast was plain.

Dear Joanne, Andrea and I wanted to thank you for all your and your staff’s help in putting together our wedding on such short notice. I am still amazed that with a couple of phone calls and emails every detail was worked out and then arranged by you so that all we had to do was show up and enjoy the wonderful establishment and beautiful setting. We have ben traveling across the US from Seattle to Naples with a stop over in San Antonio where we definately found this one-of-a-kind place.

This place was awesome. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The breakfast is the best ever. The owners were so nice and helpful.

On the evening of November 15, 2009, we exchanged our vows on the riverwalk, held our reception on the terrace patio, and shared our first night married in the romantic penthouse suite. In the morning, we enjoyed a delectable breakfast on the balcony overlooking the city. Words could not ever describe the gratitude we feel for the kindhearted "family" at the Inn on the Riverwalk. We were treated like family., Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfotable. Breakfast was delicious-try the hashbrowns. We were sad to leave, and I miss it already. What a wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at the Inn November 2009. It was more than we expected with personal touches such as a rose petal heart, chocolate kisses, hand written note from the owners, chef-prepared breakfast made to order with a fantastic view! We stayed in Spa Room 21 and it couldn't have been more romantic. We only used our car at night to travel to Chart House in Tower of America's and to the Spurs game. We were able to access the entire riverwalk easily. We absolutely loved the entire experience and will be staying here again on our next trip back to San Antonio! Thank you so much!

Took a couple of days out whilst my husband was working in Texas. Excellent location, comfy bed and the french toast was delicious. Just left the car and wandered around the sites. The mexican restaurant recommendation was excellent.

Well this was our second time at the Inn, Room was great, There were some new changes, some we liked, some we didnt, My husbands motto , "If it a broke dont fix it"! We liked Your Front desk Gal Teresa, always quick to help and satisfy our needs, didnt care for the new gal, To Pushy! and in your face, we couldnt get a word in edge wise, takes a way from the class of the Inn. Parking was a little tight at times,But still a great value,and this time we were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful breakfast spread,loved those muffins! Over all we still enjoyed the place and will come back next visit. Remember Johanna and Scott,Sometimes the old is better than the new, your place represents quiet charm, not loud, in your face.

We were looking for a out of the way place just to spend some time away from the day to day trappings, I did a lot of searching on the net for the perfect place and low and behold we found it. The room had a charm, we felt like we were on our second honeymoon, so quiet, gave us great directions to all the hot spots in SA The River walk was a step a away Parking was free, which was a big plus they offered a free Breakfast that was just so much more that a toaster and a box of cold cereal, I wish they did Lunch and Dinner there as well, and we wouldnt have gone out. Scott and Joanna we will tell our friends to get to Texas to Stop In at your Cozy Inn, It was a time we will always cherish.

What wonderful results from a spontaneous decision to stay somewhere other than the chosen conference national chain high-rise hotel. A 5-10 minute beautiful walk along the river to the meetings beat the noise & waiting on elevators; The breakfast, company, and atmosphere superb; the room rustic, home-like, lovely, and comfortable; The atmosphere alone would have made the stay worth while; everything else was a bonus! I will be back every time I need a temporary home in downtown SA.

My Husband and I had a small, 6 guest wedding ceremony to predate the larger one next summer. We rented the penthouse for a VERY reasonable price- expecially given the location. The ceremony was held on the balcony/deck. The view is breathtaking and the pictures turned out stunning given the lighting at sunset. Everyone commented on the beautiful atmosphere. The room was romantic and the service excellent. Johana did a wonderful job performing the ceremony with grace and flexibility. I would recomend this for a romantic getaway or for a wedding, to anyone!

Our first Bed & Breakfast...exceeded our expectations. Perfect location for walking to the riverwalk and other attractions. The Penthouse balcony view was awesome to overlook the river and downtown San Antonio. The room was adorned with roses waiting for us! A quiet and romantic place to stay.... we'll be back.

Our wedding was held at the Inn on the Riverwalk this past weekend - I cannot express how great Johanna, Teresa, and their staff was. My wife and I met with them two months before our wedding to pick our date - we rented out the entire main house and had two other rooms in the cottages next store. Johanna and Teresa handled everything for our wedding - the setup, the ceremony, the cake, the food, and the flowers. Their efforts made our weekend so stress-free and I cannot thank them enough. We paid them for everything up front and put full trust in them to get everything together for our special day - and they did a phenomenal job! The Penthouse suite has to be the nicest get away room in San Antonio, especially with the rose petals that led up to it with the romance packages, which included chocolates and Champaign and a dozen roses that the Inn gave to us as a gift for our wedding. I can go on and on forever, but will simply end it with - this place is awesome, my wife and I and all of our guests really had a great time, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Inn's or would love to have a perfect stress-free wedding! We were guests at the Inn for my son's wedding 8/15/09 which was perfect down to every last detail. The work put into the event by Rev. Johanna and Teresa (wonder woman) was above & beyond. We took over the entire house and part of the 2nd house for the event and they couldn't have been more accomodating. Thanks for everything.

We felt welcomed the moment we were met at the door by Johanna. We came for a quiet, romantic weekend and our stay couldn't have been more perfect. The accomodations were comfortable and charming. Breakfast was hearty, hot, and served with a huge smile. We'll be back. Who needs noisy, impersonal hotels when this kind of hospitality is available? We'll be back---definitely!

My new hubby and I got engaged on June 9, 2009. We decided we did not want to wait to get married, nor did we want a large wedding. Two days after getting engaged, we started looking for venues- hoping for an August 1st wedding date. Fortunately for us, we came across the inn on Google and made a call. Lo and behold, August was booked...EXCEPT FOR August 1st! I knew that our special day was going to be incredible from that first phone call. Teresa is clearly a well experienced event planner; she is flexible, knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease. Johanna gracefully and willingly adapted the traditional ceremony to include our personal vows and other requests. Both our ceremony and our reception were absolutely perfect. Likewise, the inn's rooms, service, and breakfast were all incredible. We will definitely be returning to the inn for future visits to San Antonio.

Romantic, charming Victorian in a great location right on the (quiet stretch) of the Riverwalk. Clean, comfortable, and lovely rooms with ceiling fans, hardwood floors, and window a/c., wireless internet, cable TV, yummy breakfasts, and friendly staff!

The Inn on the Riverwalk was a perfect get away for our 7-year anniversary. The location is AWESOME! You can walk along the river to the Riverwalk, the mall, the Alamo, the Children's Museum - all sorts of fun! Johanna was so welcoming and included lots of special touches to our stay - complete with leaving a fun little booster seat out in the lobby so our 17-month old could play in it. It was great having two rooms so he could sleep in one, and we could stay up late. She even allowed us to stay late the day we were checking out so he could get his afternoon nap in before we drove home! Betty also makes the BEST breakfasts - fit for a king and queen. Lucious fruit and unbeatable French toast. A great place with lots of special touches - like personalized notes and Hershey kisses when you arive. Make the most of this great deal!

We have stayed at Inn on the Riverwalk before and found it to be such a delightful experience that when we learned we were going to be in San Antonio for a convetion--there was no question about where to stay. It's just like home away from home.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Inn. Unfortunately the weather was very hot. We were welcomed like long lost relatives. This place is just as charming as the first visit. If you are expecting modern and completely restored, you won't get that here. It is like going to visit your most loved and adored grandmother's house. Betty, Theresa, Lydia and Johanna are not your grandparents but they make you feel very welcome. The rooms are clean but like most homes of that era, there is always something that should be painted or fixed. We found it convienently located to the convention center, shops, King William Historic District and of course the pleasure of the Riverwalk. It was cheaper than the hotels in the area and parking was free. Even though the weather was excessively hot, we were still able to enjoy the deck for an early morning coffee. Breakfast was different each day and fresh flowers were on tables. I am looking forward to the next visit to the Inn.

I travel from the Dallas area to San Antonio 3-4 times a year and always stay at The Inn On The Riverwalk. The rooms are immaculate, the hospitality is the best of anyplace I have ever stayed and the breakfast is wonderful...great variety of food and very tasty!Johanna & Scott went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be and the location on the quiet end of the Riverwalk makes for a very peaceful and enjoyable escape. I highly recommend this B&B to all of my friends and to anyone who travels to San Antonio and is looking for a great place to stay!

The Inn on the Riverwalk is such a great B&B. If you're headed to downtown San Antonio, this B&B is just the place! It is right on the riverwalk so the views are amazing and very beautiful but it's also very quiet and peaceful on this end of the riverwalk. It's an easy walk to the more action-packed area of the riverwalk where the shops & restaurants are. The rooms are adorable and the staff is very nice. If you love the B&B experience, you'll love Inn on the Riverwalk.

Perfect venue for our wedding. Lovely facilities, that are quite, private and very romantic. Just blocks from the "restaurant district" but far enough away that you don't see the tourist traffic. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. Would highly recommend. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for our honeymoon and other guests stayed in both the main house and the two house across the street. Made is so nice to share breakfast the morning after our wedding. We had 85 guests attend our wedding but could have had more because of the deck and patio behind the house.

The staff was really nice. Gave us directions to everything and breakfast was GREAT!!! The patio/balcony was really nice in the evening and morning. The room was nice but we had a room with a small seperate room for my teenage son but he couldnt stay in that room for long because it was HOT! The bathroom was really small and the shower head wouldnt move. There was an AC in our room but not his. The rest of the house was REALLY hot. I was expecting the B&B to be right on the riverwalk where all the hotels, shops, etc were but you have to walk a few blocks to get there. We came across several homeless people sleep on the sideway near the B&B.......that made us a little uneasy. It was nice and an ok price........staff was very nice and helpful!

We went there for our honeymoon! It was so sweet! They had rose petals leading to our room then on through to the bed where they had a huge heart in rose petals w hershey kisses on every other petal! It was so cute! The food was very wonderful and just perfect to start our day.We enjoyed the area and the attractions especially the river walk.

Inn was the best choice I could have made for our first time at a B&B! My girlfriend and I loved the intimacy of the inn, not at all like a cut and paste hotel. The staff was superb and the whole atmosphere left you refreshed. Plus, just about everything was within walking distance. We will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was a very nice experience. The owner and the rest of the staff was so helpful as well as resourceful. We parked our car and walked to all the attractions. We even ordered in, Champagne and all. It was great!

My husband and I stayed here for our mini-honeymoon and it was PERFECT! The room was great! The house itself was completely charming! It is a really great location, too. Far enough away from the action of downtown so that the area is quiet but close enough to everything so that it isn't a long walk to get to all of the main attractions. I would highly, highly recommend this place. Also, when I called to book the room, the owner was so chatty and helpful. That was really great. The only small thing I would suggest improvement on would be the food. It tasted really great, but it wasn't a big selection. Minor detail compared to all the other awesomeness. :) Thanks for a great stay! We will be back for sure!

On March 14th, 2009, we got married at the Inn on the Riverwalk. Johanna, her husband, Teresa, and the rest of the staff were "over the top" accomodating. The rooms were wonderful, and the reception area looked absolutely fabulous. The breakasts also were very delicious. We highly recommend anyone going to San Antonio to stay here. This was my husband's first B&B experience and we were not disapointed at all. We liked the fact that the Inn was so close to the River Walk, that we did not need to use our vehicle for transportation. The owners have done a great job for having this B&B for over a year. We would like to come back in the future and see how much the owners have grown as Innkeepers and how much more they will personalize the place. I have been at other Inns and I must say that I missed the interaction with the Innkeepers. I did feel that I was in a nicer version of a hotel, but more personal service and interaction will make this place a great place.

A friendly atmosphere, but a little more rustic than expected. Nice location to walk to sites. Not quiet (can hear other guests), and the room is too small for the price.

Words cannot describe what a perfect and intimate setting the Inn was for my brother in laws wedding. From the ceremony on the riverwalk to just a few steps for the dinner. We could not ask for anything better! Teresa, Johanna and the caterer went above and beyond to make this evening a special memory! My family of (4) had our BEST Christmas EVER at The Inn on the Riverwalk! The master bed was heaven on a cloud! And we had such a peaceful song filled morning with the birds singing outside! The walk to the river from the Inn was invigorating and we enjoyed the sites along the way! The owners, Johanna & Scott , with the staff were sweet as can be! We have wonderful memories for a life time!!!

This charming b&b is a gem. Johanna and Scott (and Scott's mum) were all gracious, easy-going and accommodating of any request we made. We loved the views, the peaceful location, the views from the porches and deck (all w/ Internet access) and - above all - the comfortable, homey feeling of the place. Scott's mom cooked a hearty breakfast every morning (with fruit, yogurt & granola available too). All three of us (my dad, brother and I) enjoyed our stay and congratulated one another on our excellent discovery!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn on the Riverwalk. We thought the Penthouse Suite was very romantic and felt like home. We loved the wonderful balcony that overlooked the Riverwalk. We had some problems receiving ice, and the jacuzzi tub stopped working one night. For the most part we had an amazing time. We spent our anniversery in this Bed and Breakfast and we will be back. The owners Joanna and Scoot seem very nice. The breakfast was good as well. We would recommend anyone to stay at this bed and breakfast if you want a romantic getaway on the Riverwalk. Our company recently held two days of planning meetings at the Inn on the Riverwalk. The location was great and the staff provided outstanding service! If you're looking for a meeting location that is a liitle bit off the beaten path yet near all the SA downtown activities, quiet, charming rooms and with good meeting space, then I highly recommend considering the Inn for your next meeting!

My Husband & I got away for the Christmas Holiday cause our son passed away in August. His B-day is on Christmas Day & this was a nice getaway from home. I want to thank the Staff at Inn on the Riverwalk for a wonderful time. Thanks for the hard work!!!!

It was a wonderful stay. My honey treated me to a stay at The Inn on the Riverwalk - what a treat! It was perfectly located downtown in the middle of the three main districts that you'd want to go visit. Everything is within walking distance, which makes your stay so much more romantic with strolls through the historic city. Loved it and can't wait to go back!

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Inn on the Riverwalk multiple times on business trips. Never again will I stay in a hotel when I visit San Antonio. My experience at the Inn is like a home away from home. Johanna, Scott & Betty are always warm and welcoming, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Nothing beats sitting out on the balcony at night with a panoramic view of the city. I can’t wait for my next business strip!

We had a great time and were treated like family. Schott, Johanna, and Betty were so hospitable. Food was very good and room very nice.

Three of us, plus one dog, stayed in one of the cottage rooms. It was perfect for all of us - the room was very homey and comfortable. Close enough to walk to the main drag on the riverwalk yet far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of the King William area. It was also worked out great for our dog - the walk way by the river had doggie waste dispencers and was perfect for early morning runs.

Love the house, location, and owners! Scott and Johanna make you feel at home. Dining room is nice with a deck/balcony off of it...great view of the river and Tower of Americas. We will definitely stay again!! I have already recommended this place to many friends!

What a wonderful place to stay in San Antonio. It's within walking distance to the main "hubba" of the River Walk. Clean, beautiful accomodations and the innkeepers were such gracious people. Friendly and went out of there way to make sure everything ran smoothly while we were there. Great experience and I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

It was all we could ask & made our time in San Antonio relaxing & thoroughly enjoyable.

We had a great girlfriend weekend (10 of us!) at this quaint little B&B! The house is convenient, clean with a great dining room and nice outdoor deck to lounge on with your friends. The breakfasts were fabulous! The owners were wonderful and very helpful! I would highly recommend it to anyone going to San Antonio!

Scott and JoHanna are the sweetest couple, so eager to please. The rooms are quaint, the breakfast excellent. Short walk to down town. We will definitely be back.

Many positives - excellent service, kind people, yummy breakfast, beautiful view & location...but the bed in room 15 was awful, squeaky & "hole in the middle", the sheets were scratchy and towels (wash cloths) were scratchy.

It is with our deepest regret that we weren't able to correct this guests experience prior to their departure. Each person's mattress comfort is different, and we have a couple of mattresses in stock to swap out if we become aware of an uncomfortable guest during one's stay. Our linens/towels are serviced by a company that also provides to local hotels in the neighborhood - we apologize for this guests experience and again, if we'd known - would have been happy to replace them with better quality.

The Inn on the Riverwalk was ideal as it is ideally located, clean, quaint, good food, friendly, helpful staff.

Nice place in location directly on the riverwalk. The neighborhood is not much of a neighborhood however with tall condo towers and parking lots surrounding the inn. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small and tile had some mold and ceiling paint was peeling a little. Shower curtain did not even cover the entire opening. I'd stay there again.

lovely accommodations in middle of bustling downtown San Antonio. Lovely walk along river to main RiverWalk. If one wants to see it all, walk can be a tad long, especially in heat. Good to space your time so can return for rest then walk back. Very desirable to be close yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Lovely serenity by the river. Hosts very accommodating.

Charming bed and breakfast, located just a short walk from the Riverwalk. It was beautiful, our room was perfect, and Scott and Johanna were excellent hosts. It was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

I booked this place as a surprise for my wife on our 2nd anniversary. On the reservation page there's a section where you tell them if it's a special occasion and if so, what the occasion is. So when we got to our room, there were rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed and a "Happy Anniversary" card handwritten by the owners. Joanna, the lady that co-owns it and works the counter, was very friendly. Her mom also works there as the gardner/breakfast cook, and she is equally friendly. Breakfast was great! We had blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and various juices. You'll smell the food cooking about a half hour before breakfast officially starts, the scents seem to waft through the air in the mornings. The room we booked (#16) was a bit small compared to others I've been in, but it was decorated well, was comfortable, and very very quiet. We also had a nice little balcony overlooking the riverwalk which we shared with our neighbors to the left and right. If you're looking for a nice quiet little get away and still want to be on the riverwalk, this is a great place. I would highly recommend it.

What a wonderful stay, right on the river and a short safe walk to the clubs and restaurants on the busy section of Riverwalk. Scott and Johanna were very personable and the room was clean and well decorated. Far better choice than what was available for hotels this close to the action.

It's a lovely, peaceful, historic oasis in the city.

Johanna and Scott Kiltoff are a hardworking young couple who excell ar customer service. Their genuine smiles are very welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable. From the flowers outside to the ones in every room, they bring a real "homey" touch to this quaint inn. You're a guest when you arrive and a friend when you leave!
